Shalon Lillard Named MCP of UHC of Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (April 7, 2016) — Shalon Lillard has been promoted to marketing company president for 784, U-Haul Company of Jacksonville.

The announcement was made by U-Haul Executive Vice President Frank D’Abarno and Area District Vice President Ed Hatcher. Lillard started in her new role on April 4.

“I am excited and driven to continue to pursue success for Company 784,” Lillard said. “My plans are to work with my team on programs, policies and procedures in order to gain knowledge and understanding of our products and services. Knowledge is power, and I believe the more my team has, the more powerful they can become.

“I look forward to the challenge and where I can take Company 784.”

Lillard most recently served as traffic control manager for 784. She has been general manager for U-Haul Moving and Storage of Orange Park and manager for U-Haul Moving and Storage of Jacksonville Heights. At 784, she filled the roles of a reservation manager; storage clerk; storage manager; and storage center relief.

As a storage center manager, she worked at Jacksonville location U-Haul Moving and Storage of Wesconnett and Virginia locations U-Haul Moving and Storage at Holland Road and U-Haul Moving and Storage at Prince George. Lillard also was a customer service representative for New Jersey location U-Haul Moving and Storage of Lindenwold.

“Shalon has 16 years of proven success with U-Haul in various positions,” Hatcher said. “Her leadership style lends her a great advantage when dealing people which, in turn, will help her lead her team to new levels of wowing our customers.”
