Matt McCoy Named MCP of UHC of Southern Atlantic Coast

WILMINGTON, N.C. (April 25, 2016) — Matt McCoy has been appointed the new marketing company president for 878, U-Haul Company of Southern Atlantic Coast.

U-Haul Executive Vice President Chuck Hertzler and Area District Vice President Jason Hardin announced the move. McCoy began his new position on April 5.

“I am excited to join Team 878 and look forward to providing excellent customer service to every one of our existing and new customers,” said McCoy, whose Company encompasses parts of both Carolinas and ranges from Fayetteville and Florence to the coastal destinations of Myrtle Beach, Wilmington and Jacksonville.

“I plan to grow the dealer network and also add new stores to grow the Company and service more customers. Being able to pass on the U-Haul knowledge I have gained will help the team do what is best for the customers – and the Company as well.”

McCoy served effectively as general manager for U-Haul Moving and Storage of Concord. Prior to his GM role, he was a traffic control manager and area field manager for U-Haul Company of Charlotte.
