Allen Laine Promoted to MCP of UHC of Maryland

HYATTSVILLE, Md. (April 25, 2016) — Allen Laine has been named marketing company president for 819, U-Haul Company of Maryland.

U-Haul Executive Vice President Chuck Hertzler and Area District Vice President Pat Goodwin announced the move. Laine began his new position on April 13.

“It’s a great joy and honor to be named MCP of U-Haul of Maryland,” Laine said. “By coming on board as a moonlighter seven years ago, I’ve had the privilege of seeing 819 grow, split and grow again in amazing ways.

“With each new day, we get another opportunity to wow our customers. I’m excited to continue serving our customers in this new role and build on 819’s success by providing superior quality service and products.”

Laine served effectively as the general manager of U-Haul Moving & Storage of Randolph Road in Rockville, Md., for the last six years. He joined U-Haul as a customer service representative in 2009.
