Rogar Bishop Named MCP of UHC of Southern Georgia

COLUMBUS, Ga. (Aug. 16, 2016) — Rogar Bishop has been named marketing company president of 779, U-Haul Company of Southern Georgia.

U-Haul Executive Vice President Frank D’Abarno and Area District Vice President Doug Weston made the announcement. Bishop assumed his new role on Aug. 15.

“I am very excited to have the opportunity to serve more customers as MCP of 779,” Bishop said. “I look forward to building team camaraderie and using the strengths of the personnel here to create growth in this market.”

Bishop started his U-Haul career in 2010 as a general manager for U-Haul Moving & Storage at Skyland Blvd. He served as an area field manager for 762, U-Haul Company of Northern Alabama, prior to his promotion.

“Rogar has shown his natural ability to lead,” Weston said. “Under Rogar’s leadership, his center in Tuscaloosa set new heights in filling up storage. With his support, we were able to serve a huge amount of college students during graduation with our U-Box portable moving and self-storage containers. We are truly looking forward to having Rogar lead the 779 company.”
