Firoz Bari Promoted to MCP of UHC of Van Nuys/San Luis Obispo

VAN NUYS, Calif. (Oct. 14, 2016) — Firoz Bari has been named marketing company president of 711, U-Haul Company of Van Nuys/San Luis Obispo.

U-Haul Executive Vice President Jeremy Frank and Area District Vice President Mark Buford made the announcement. Bari assumed his new role on Sept. 8.

“I’ve been with U-Haul for the past nine years and am excited to contribute many more years as marketing company president,” Bari said. “I plan to use this opportunity to establish exceptional customer service while continuing to grow our strong network of dealers and centers.”

Bari spent the last four years as a traffic control manager at 712, U-Haul Company of Los Angeles West, and 841, U-Haul Company of Central Ontario. He was general manager of U-Haul Moving & Storage of Brampton E. from 2009 to 2012. Bari began his affiliation with U-Haul in 2008 as a reservation manager at 848, U-Haul Company of Eastern Ontario.

“Firoz is perfect for this position because he is an outstanding leader and has the ability to educate, mentor and stimulate his Team Members,” Buford said. “His background is packed with experience and he is extremely motivated. He will be a five-star MCP.”
