U-Haul to Help Victims of Oakland Warehouse Fire

OAKLAND, Calif. (Dec. 5, 2016) — U-Haul Company of East Bay is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to victims and families affected by the Oakland warehouse fire on Friday night.

U-Haul is extending the offer to impacted individuals and families at two U-Haul-owned and -operated facilities located in Oakland.

“We want to extend our thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families,” said James Bostwick, U-Haul Company of East Bay president. “This was the deadliest fire in the history of Oakland and we want to support our community in any way possible.”
