The Crescordia goes to....

Arizona's Valley Forward Association recognized U-Haul with a prestigious Crescordia Award at the 32nd Annual Environmental Excellence Awards on September 29, 2012.

In addition to other U-Haul programs, the Contributions to Environmental Education and Communication award highlights the U-Haul SuperGraphics program wherein U-Haul forgoes profit potential of selling advertising on its truck fleet, choosing instead to promote environmental and societal sustainability features on 95,000 trucks which travel across North America every day.

U-Haul has been a finalist for the Valley Forward Environmental Excellence Awards for four consecutive years, previously winning an Award of Merit for Environmental Stewardship in 2009, an Award of Merit for Adaptive Reuse in 2010, and its first Crescordia Award for Buildings and Structures in 2011.
