Summer is an extremely busy season to move. Kansas City has mild to hot summers so while it may not be ideal to move in the summer, it is doable. Make sure to take the humidity into account and drink plenty of water. The winters are quite cold so spring and fall will be your best times to move. Also, a very important note: Kansas City is in the heart of tornado alley. Tornado season is typically April – June. Always pay attention to weather alerts and take shelter when necessary. Whatever season you move, make sure you reserve your moving truck.
