We had requested a different location. Due to availability were had to pick up at this location. Due to the shop not being open to when we needed to pick up the truck we had to do the 24 hour check in online. When we arrived the location service says we were not in the correct location. We definitely were. My husband walked all around the location to get it to pick up and nothing. Uhual had 30-40 min wait times on the phone and live chat. The first time we waited that time for help and were transferred to be disconnected to start that process all over again. We then decided to call the location we had originally requested and see if we could get any help. They were able to help us immediately get touch with the area manager and helped us get on the road within 5 minutes. I will forever be thankful for the help from them both.Mathew G.

The worst uhaul experience I've ever had. First, after arriving at the location, I logged into my account and was unable to pick up my truck due to the website not giving the prompt to. I called the owner of the business and explained the situation to him. He directed me to call the 1-800 number. After speaking with the first person, who was no help, I was placed on hold for 15 minutes. At this point I've been trying to pick up my truck for about 30 minutes. After being on hold, I ended the call and decided to create a new reservation at this same location. After creating the new reservation, I was finally given the prompt to pick up my truck. Finally right?! NOPE! After clicking on the prompt it gets my GPS location and tells me I'm in the wrong location. I literally created the reservation in the parking lot of where I'm picking up the truck. I tried it again and again I was not in the right location. I then clicked on the address of the business of where I'm supposed to be and it brings up my GPS. The pin drop on the GPS was pinned approximately 100 yards west of the business in the woods. At this point I'm 45 minutes delayed. I then decided to walk through the woods to get near this pin drop and try it again. Had to hop a ditch, walk through briars, lift branches out of the way to get to this pin drop. After getting to the pin drop, which was near a telephone tower, I tried it again. Guess what?? It still didn't work. At this point, I'm an hour delayed. I then walk back through the woods and in the process of making my way back, I twisted my ankle. Great! Now I'm hobbling my way back. Finally get back and make contact with the owner of the business. Explained to him of this entire situation. He then has me send him a picture of my ID and I had to provide 2 references. At this point I was finally given the code to get the key out of the box. Great right?! NOPE! After getting in the truck, the truck was dirty. It took 3 attempts to crank the truck. After getting the truck cranked and began driving, the alignment was severely off. To drive straight, the steering wheel had to be turned to the right. So much that the GMC emblem nearly had to be vertical. The breaks were spongy as well. And to top this all off, the dolly that I purchased to use was not in the truck.Jared K.
