The location is not inviting. I gave keys to an employee who told me he would check me in and email receipt. I returned at 4:50, before they closed at 5:00. This was over an hour earlier than my contract. I returned with over the amount of fuel I was given. Later that evening I received a bill for 65.69 for an extra day. The employee checked me in at 7:44pm and charged me for an extra gallon of fuel. This is fraudulent. I was concerned with the location so thankfully I took a photo of the truck returned in front of the business which clearly shows the time. This location should be investigatedMICHAEL W.

When I showed up the location was closed with a sign on the door with two phone numbers. I tried calling both numbers and one picked up once and hung up without saying anything. When calling back I got no answer. Eventually someone showed up and called whoever was actually supposed to be there. They were apologetic and helpful after but this set me back a lot and left a bad taste in my mouth. The truck itself was fine but seemed like it needed some maintenance. The tire pressure monitoring system warning light was on.Caitlin M.

Upon receiving uhaul, â€œservice tire monitor systemâ€ showed up. Picked up uhaul with 1/4 tank of gas. Luckily I was not traveling far, but I still was very cautious of the truck. First time I have ever gotten a uhaul that didn't have a full tank of gas and a service light on.Austin K.
Trash in the door pockets. Fuel was well-below 7/8 and your records showed 15/16. People were very pleasant! However, the smartphone pickup was an absolute study in frustration. My first reservation was not ready. When I went to the I-Haul app, it showed another location. Drove there. No van. Drove back. The man in the Valero/Oil Company on Highland was rude and unhelpful. As I had lost 3 hours I cancelled that reservation and tried again on Wednesday. After struggling with the smartphone app I contacted CS. Took 75 minutes to pick up the truck!Jeffrey C.

The app on the phone is terrible. It would not pick up my location at the pickup site. Then when it finally went through the app did not give us a code to unlock the box to get the key, requiring us to call. Finally when we did get to unlock the box, it was the wrong key to the vehicle. Our pickup lasted over a hour to get everything sorted out.Romain L.

It took 40 minutes to do the requirements. That could all be done on the initial reservation. Your customer service was great. They didn't have the hand truck. I called and was sent to the main U-Haul a few miles away. Went there, they had none to rent to us. And, I was charged mileage for the drive to NOT get a dolly. The truck itself felt like it was going to fall apart. The Handel for the window drivers side would not stay on. It was a trick to roll the window up or down. Luckily there was a nice man who worked there and he handled the turn in process.David M.

Not able to talk in person to someone. Could only talk via phone. Key pickup was via lockbox only. No opportunity to review vehicle or ask questions. Side mirrors of truck would not adjust (or I did not know how to operate them).peter T.

It was confusing. I filled out all materials ahead of time but they didn't have the documents. I did not understand the internet procedures because it was all completed over the phone because they did not have the information or the pictures of my license. I did not have access to the emails until after the truck was returned. I was unprepared for the process.TONY M.

Air conditioner wasnt working properly, stopped blowing when you stopped at red lights or in traffic and when turned up stated whistling as if stopped up Smelled smokey, triggered my asthma and I tried to let down window and wind down handle fell off, could not let window down and roaches were in the back all over and got in my boxes. Horrible, I let the owner know and he said he was gonna take off $20 because Uhaul wouldn't let him do anything else. I dont see where he did that and charged me for gas when i brought it back where he gave it to me. Please help, this was horrible experienceAleta B.

There are additional unexpected fees when you book with them prior and it's not your fault. Uhaul is inconsiderate. The customer service hold time is 45 minutes. I called and held 3xs for 45 minutes.Kimberly R.
I had to pickup the truck from a location that was about 20 miles from my original choice and the drop off was an extra 5-7 miles from the original drop off that I requested and I was charged extra mileage. When I picked up the truck the lady there wrote on my contract that extra miles should not be charged but since there was no one at the drop off I had to use the automated checkin and ended up having to pay the extra mileage.BENJAMIN B.

I was charge 100.00 dollars for a in town that I only used for two hours and drove about 10 miles , FROM uhaul to the furniture store to my home and back to uhaul. Margaret MontgomeryWalter M.
Good service. The owner/manager quickly rectified the mixup and guided me through the remainder of the process. My only recommendation is to have someone at the store or notify those that are renting that there will be a delay in someone's arrival. There was a young lady sitting in her car looking to rent a truck but since no one was there, she was advised by a passerby to go to another Uhaul place.DeShondra H.

Uhaul, as with many, if not all businesses that serve the public, is transitioning to less human interaction. This involves some experimentation on their part, and patience on customers' part. Clark, the owner of of this local Uhaul dealership was as helpful as anyone possibly could be. The next time I need a Uhaul I will return to this dealership because of his extensive courtesy.Peter M.

We signed up for the Truck Share, but had problems with it. There was no one to talk to because the door was locked and the lights were off. The dolly and furniture pads were missing too so I'm trying to get refunded for that.Billy M.
