I had reserved a truck at the Mount Airy location and was moved to another location in Frederick without notice. I called and they were able to move me to Monrovia. This location was fine however they charged me for fuel when I put fuel in to it prior to dropping off. I have the receipt and picture of the fuel gage when I dropped it off. I sent this by email to the email provided and it was returned as not deliverable. I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone after this total experience.Victoria D.

The contact people at the dispatch location were great. I called to change my pick up date and time and they said, "not a problem and we'll change it at no additional charge". AMAZING The lady at the puck up location was also just as nice. I called her number to confirm my changes and she had just left for the day. She asked if I could hold on while she turned around to go back to the office. AMAZING I explained I was just confirming my pick up change order and told her not to turn around that I would call her the next morning. She called me before I could her. The office to pick up keys is simply disgusting. It smells horribly of cigarette smoke other offensive things. Comparing this location to a place in Cleveland I used last year is night and day. I doubt uhaul wants this MD. place representing them.Ralph G.

I dropped the vehicle at 1:00 AM on that day and next day I got a call from them saying you cannot keep the vehicle there, In the document they just gave us the drop off location phone number and I was charged $21 extra for nothing after dropping at night. This has nothing to do on the location or the people working at the location, the 24/7 share needs work. I had to wait over 30 min for the approval. I waited so long that the location was getting ready to open and the lady who was there was kind and offered to help but by then it finally approved me. U-Haul sent me two approved drop off locations one included 11719 OLD NATIONAL PIKE NEW MARKET, MD 21774. When I arrived at this location I was rudely told by the employee that I could not drop off there. He turned me away which was an inconvenience to me and my family and claimed there was no parking although both vehicles were in parking spots. I had to go to a different location although it should've been U-Haul's responsibility to coordinate a different drop off. U-Haul should have allowed me to drop off at my original location and then had a different location come and get the vehicles. If I make a mistake by not fueling up the vehicle at drop off or damaging the vehicle then I am held responsible. But if U-Haul makes a mistake and gives me incorrect information which ends up being an inconvenience to me I am somehow also responsible. I do not recommend anyone doing business with the following U-Haul location: 11719 OLD NATIONAL PIKE NEW MARKET, MD 21774. However the U-Haul location that I ended up dropping off my vehicles was very helpful.PAUL T.

Truck was in great condition, with a full tank of gas. Associate was nice/helpful enough. Facilities and computer were VERY slow, and unprofessional. Associate was not wearing shoes, and the location smelled like a carton of cigarettes had been smoked inside. I left smelling like I had smoked a pack and was only in there for 15 minutes. The trailer hitch was not attached correctly to the ball when I picked up the trailer when we put the car on the trailer tongue flew up in the air. Luckily no one was hurt. When I arrived at the drop off point. I was told I had know lights on the trailer. Also, they told me the emergency brake for the trailer was never connect.Barry S.
