Pick up location and associates were very good, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Did not appreciate the fact that my original reservation (which was made 10 days in advance) requested and confirmed a location less than 2 miles from my need of the equipment, but Uhaul charged my actual pickup/drop off location to a dealer which ended up being 17 miles one-way from where I need the equipment.Rolland S.
Inside of the truck was clean but had a very stale smoke smell. I did have mechanical difficulties with the truck while on the interstate. I was able to pull off at an exit and had to wait 2 1/2 hours for someone to come and fix the belt on the truck that had disintegrated. The online U-Haul help line was much quicker than waiting on the phone. The service (Rock Solid) that came out to fix the truck did a great job. However, the engine light came on again before I got back to the drop-off location. I did notify the local Uhaul rep that I rented from of this. This mechanical difficulty was very inconvenient and could have been dangerous if I had been unable to exit when I did. I feel that better maintenance of your trucks could have prevented this problem.pam G.

My experience is was horrible they didn't book my truck correctly and it took me an hour on the phone to correct it while I paid a moving company an hour to just sit there while they fixed my reservation. I ordered a dolly and furniture pads and neither were there.Ashley R.

I filled the tank up with gas to 3/4 like I was supposed to. Only drove maybe 10 miles or so to this drop off. After the drop off we left to our final destination which was 2 hours away. This location charged me for not having 3/4 of a tank of gas which I know I did. He said he took a picture which I don't doubt but I know I left the fill level the same as when I picked it up. You could credit back the dolly I was charged for but didn't have access to. The guy at the office was called on the phone because he was closed on the weekends. He said he didn't have any dollies available. The funny thing is, I could see in his office and there were dollies sitting everywhere.John P.

This was our first time renting a U-Haul truck on-line. It was very easy even though we called the contact number because of a question we had. We weren't sure when to drop off the truck. Everyone, from the call and the store we picked up the truck, have been extremely helpful. Thank-you.Leon S.

I initially booked for a different pick up location that apparently didn't have what I requested but I drove past there because I live 1 mile from it and they had 2 of every truck size there. Also was told since I had to move locations, I wouldn't be charged the extra for the 20 ft truck because I wanted a 10-15 foot truck and guess what???? I was totally charged that extra cost for that 20 ft truck!!!Jaxen G.

I did not receive the 12 furniture pads. Location is closed on weekends but can still rent through mobile site. If you can get the extras such as pads, handtruck etc. then it shouldn't be an option. I want refund for the furniture pads on my receipt.Jason Y.
I had completed the pre-check in verification, or whatever it's called. But then the online check in was a convoluted cluster. Because the online system would not locate me while using my iPhone Safari, I had to wait on hold for 25 minutes and then it took an additional 35 minutes to access the key. That was ridiculous. And then, to think that U-Haul making a second phone call to the person sitting with me in the car was somehow verifying my identity is ludicrous. The identity theft protection process actually verified nothing except what I may or may not tell someone else to say. I didn't expect all that and picking up the truck took far longer than I had planned.William B.

The truck was clean enough but it pulled to the right and was a little hard to steer. Also, the rolling door needs attention. It flys upward very fast and became stuck once but we figured out that the latch, on the bottom of the door, had gotten into the closed position. This prevented us from closing the door.Karon P.

Guy does not want to do his job. Wants the customer to do it on their phone after waiting an hour for him. Zero customer service skills. Does not want to answer his phone. When he finally does two days later, he is insulting and combative and incapable of communicating well. Then he laughed at my frustration. All I wanted to do was see that he was properly paid. The representative mislead me to change the way I booked the U-Haul firstly. The attendant was rude and screamed at me. I was over charged! and I have yet to have resolution. If my money is not refunded I will notify my attorney. The truck needed an alignment badly. Truck was not clean. The turbo was leaking. The brakes were in disrepair. Overall U-Haul has lost my business period. I will never use your service again. I have used U-hauls very often in my life and always have had a great experience. This experience was immensely poor. Also I has on hold three times trying to reach customer service each over 15 mins the longest was for 37 mins. Twice I was hung up on or disconnected as soon as the call finally was answered. Being that I am a blogger that rates services and have a large following I intend to start an online campaign detailing my horrendous experience so no one will have to endure what I had to deal with.Michael H.

Truck air conditioning would work while driving across the the country. The manager called and spoke about my complaint and said that the a/c is a comfort item and is not required. Basically saying my complaint wasn't justified! Terrible customer service the manager said he will speak to the other manager and call me back and never did. He sent me a $50 gift certificate for my next trip. I will never use them again based on this and it was a waste of $2200 rental. I hope the CEO of uhaul sees this and gives me a call because it was absolutely terrible! I called uhaul and they said they can't do anything until the truck is turned in and once I turned the truck in this location said they can't help me and its not their job to help. He said I should call uhaul so now I am getting the run around!Eric T.

I was told I could pick the unit up in Dalton, GA, and when I went to go get it I was told it wasn't there. I called UHAUL traffic and was told it was in Ringgold. I was on an extremely tight schedule and had to drive 40 minutes to Ringgold to get this unit. Mega Star was great to deal with, this wasn't on them. This is on UHAUL Corporate!Jason D.
Mega star was fine but the location you all sent me to. I was to pick up my truck at 9:30 am got to the place on 41hwy Ringgold ga and was not open waited around he never showed finally someone pulled up and said I'll call him he said he was at ball practice in Chickamauga Ga and it would be several hours before he could get there I would have to go elsewhere. What kind of business is that. I did locate one at mega star and they got me going to be honest I was very displeased with Uhauls service not Mega Star they got me out of a bind but I was late because of negligence of your dealer at 41 hwy. this guy does not need a license to rent your trucks if he is rarely ever there that's what I was told by people in the strip mall where he is locatedJohnny N.

The 6X12 enclosed trailer appeared to be we maintained. I rented the enclosed trailer to keep household furniture safe from weather. However upon arrival at our destination, our mattress was wet due to a leak in the trailer.Michael W.
