Service was great checking and checking out, the one worker told me it was better I go fill up the rental instead of it coming out of the credit card when I returned it. I can't say enough of the great treatment. One thing maybe could let the people know about the tow/haul light and how it works.DarryleDella W.

The staff working there was fine to deal with. It was not a 16 year old teenager's fault that U haul changed my reservation twice to two different locations and then did not have a truck the size I needed for my rental at the time I had requested. Completely unsatisfactory service from U-haul directly! (not the pick up location). Over priced too. A rental for 4 hours cost me 90$. The only reason I rented with U haul was because they were the only ones available on a Saturday pick up. Our next fundraiser will be planned weekdays so we can rent from a different company because if this experience. If I book a hotel, I get the room I booked, it does not get changed to two locations before my stay. U-haul needs to work on their reservation system!Scott M.

Our uhaul was due back at 8pm. When we arrived back with the largest van available, the spot we took it from was taken. So we decided to park in the spot behind it which required us to manoeuvre this enormous truck back around, through a small alley and then maneuver it into a narrow spot. This took us about an extra ten minutes. When we pulled up, we ensured we got all belongings or other items out and in clean condition. When we initially opened the back door, it was open. I then realized I may need my ID so I closed the door and grabbed my id. When I went to go back inside the door was locked. I tried to knock and call. After a long hot and exhausted day of moving three separate house holds out of town, our minds were a bit tired, but we tried to figure out how to leave the key in the drop box but couldn't figure it out, so we went around to the front and the door was open. We entered the building and there was one younger guy washing something. We stood in the store area and waited a couple mins before the guy came in. Instantly the aggression was felt as when we said,â€hey, we're just here to drop our keys off that we're due at 8.â€ His instant response was, â€œI don't return rentals after 8pmâ€. It was 8:03pm. After a bit of shock and confusion and confrontation, I asked for his supervisors number. His immediate response,â€why. Why would you want that.â€. So I explained how unprofessional and confusing it was that we were there with the uhaul before 8pm, cleaned and filled with gas. Eventually he gave me some number that lead me to some general help line or something which I didn't discover until after we had gotten back in the car. When I asked if this was going to cause me any extra charges he just stated â€œit will charge from when you returned itâ€ in an extremely condescending tone. By the end of it I just asked how can we return these. He pointed to the back door and said you go back around and put them in the drop box. When we explained we had tried and couldn't figure it out he brought his tone up a pitch and said in the most condescending tone how to do it as if we were children. I was in absolute utter misbelief and decided to remove myself from the situation.Kasja P.
The trailer was missing a tie down hook. The attendant provided the hook but did not have the wrench to change it. We had to travel across the city and ask another U-Haul location (1535 Park St) to change the hook. They were very helpful and got us on our way!Mark S.

The truck had pieces of broken glass on the floor. It would be nice if it was clean. Also, I ordered a furniture dolly, an appliance dolly, and 6 blankets. I was given a furniture dolly. She did have a utility dolly, so She gave me that. She went through the trucks and found 4 blankets in the cab of one of them, and gave me those. I was disappointed that I didn't get what I ordered, but I appreciated her effort to provide blankets.Thomas K.

No furniture pads or dollies were available at this location. The truck made strange grinding noises whenever I used the brake. I had specifically ordered furniture pads online and then, when I showed up I was told uHaul had altered my order.Adam L.

The person didn't assist to get the vehicle ready because he claimed there were no staff to get the vehicle out of the parking lot which was very complicated. Did not show the vehicle personally. After starting to load the van I realized that the cargo bay hadn't in fact been cleaned all that well by the previous renter(s). There was lots of dirt / dust / detritus and little broken bits and pieces of things. Clearly it hadn't been swept out. I inevitably seem to be the one who has to make up for the poor job of people who came before... Also, when I went to turn on the cargo bay light to sweep after unloading, I discovered it didn't work. There was no bulb. And the fixture looked weird and maybe there was even something wrong with the fixture as a whole, I don't really know. *sigh* Shouldn't that kind of thing be dealt with before the vehicle goes out for rent again? Very frustrating. Fortunately cellphones make for passable flashlights these days...Ryan W.

Very poor instructions on pick-up and return. Truck was filthily on the inside (dirt, empty pop bottles under the seat, mud on the inside of the windshield. truck on outside was not very clean, oil pressure gauge did not work. After return of the truck was charged an additional 47.00 for what I do not know yet because I have not received the final bill. Its been two days and still waiting for them to send it via email. Walked into the office area at 3 minutes to 9 when they were supposed to open and employee told me I had to wait till 9 when they opened, not very good customer service. would not recommend renting from this location.Jeanette B.

We loaded the truck once we were done the door would not lock there was a problem with the door called for service t once they arrived they could not fix the door so the service guy cut the cable to shut the door and my 250 dollar dolly was left inside and the truck was taken back to the rental place and you guys were charging me for a problem that you did not fix and it was your fault and I would like my dolly back and no one knows where it's gone anymore dolly was brand new .when I went there the guy working there was rude told me if I could open the door I could get my dolly .Connie R.

I rented a 26-foot truck from here on a Saturday in April of 2022. I tried to book the truck at the main u-haul on Park street but U-haul called me and said my only option for that truck was Regina Carwash. I was skeptical because I needed two furniture dollys and two utility dollys because we were moving to an apartment down a long hallway. I questioned the u-haul representative about whether the Regina car wash would have my requested equipment after reading several reviews on here that said they never have the proper equipment there. He guaranteed to me that they would have everything I requested. When I say equipment I mean everything but the trucks. They seem to always have plenty of trucks. Of course, when I got there to pick up the truck they did not have any utility dollys and the woman at the counter told me she hasn't seen one in two years and that they are very hard to come by. They did have the furniture dollys and some appliance dollys that I used which were not ideal. If you need equipmnent from here I would not expect to get it. They seem to just give it out to whoever wants it and do not really have any kind of proper booking system for your requested equipment. U-haul also must know this, I mean just look at all the reviews about it. But they still guarantee equipment and keep sending people there even though they may not have the right equipment. The funny thing is that when I dropped the truck back off there was a utility dolly there even though the woman at the desk told me she hasn't seen one in two years. The truck was also a piece of garbage and felt like a death trap on the ring road. It was very dirty inside and the back door was covered in mud but this is not as important to me personally. The people at the counter also never check any of the trucks. They don't check anything before you leave and they don't check the truck when you return. Not even the fuel level you are supposed to leave it at. This is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on if they blame you for something. It is just easier to go the main u-haul on Park street as you know they will at least have the equipment you request.Jesse B.

The equipment was reasonably clean but I had to scavenge a 4wire cable off the neighbouring trailer because the one on the trailer I rented was broke - minor issue but would have been a bigger problem if there wasn't a cable on the trailer next to it.Erik P.

They charged me the 75$ insurance after I said numerous times I do not want it. I called 6 different numbers that u haul employees gave me and they kept passing me on to someone else. 1/2 hr into our drive the radio stoped then the windshield wipers in a rain storm and 7 days later they still haven't gotten back to me. The parking lot there was a tight fit so it might have been best that they have the trucks arranged with this in mind (there was a lot of back and forth to get our truck out from where it had been parked at pickup) but that's the only thing I have to share, otherwise it was fantastic!!Scotty P.
