Clerk was boreline rude when trying to pick up truck.Truck was dirty in the back. Mileage on receipt at checkin was below that of odometer. Good thing I took a picture before hand, otherwise I would have been charged for an extra 50+ miles of usage. This is why I prefer to deal with a direct Uhaul office and not a pickup location inside another business.Jason H.

This place does not care about U-Haul customers. We had to wait 30 minutes to pickup the key because they would serve other customers first. I would stay away from this place and rent a truck elsewhere. Terrible service.MICHAEL P.

The staff at this location were very nice. However, it was odd to wait in line at a Mini Mart that is also a Canabis store. It took far too long to pick up and return the vehicle. Very strange collection of customers coming and going while I waited for service. Completely different from my more recent experiences with Uhaul in Guelph, which was outstanding. I can't image putting your name on locations such as this London Mini Mart is positive for the Uhaul brand.Steven F.
I was very disappointed in the whole process. First, the fact that I could only book online was frustrating. My usage date was flexible but I wanted a pick up location in my area of the city. The online system wouldn't allow me to see availability on given dates per location. I selected a location but confirmation stated a totally different pickup location. Then I tried to change the date by calling that location and was told I had to call an office. The customer service person did not wait to fully listen to my needs and booked me incorrectly, billing me for non requested services. The pick up location had technical issues and it took almost 30 min to get info complete and get on the road.BARBARA S.
The inside of the truck was filthy with garbage all over the inside. When I arrived there the attendant insisted that I fill out the rental online so all he had to do was â€œhand me the keysâ€. It seemed very much like they weren't interested in being in the Uhaul business.Doug C.
There was a dirty towel between the seats. Garbage on the floor. Coins and filth in the center console and in the door. Overall filthy. The store attendant would not accept debit and I had to find a bank to pay in cash. When I made the reservation, I used my debit card as I knew my credit card was close to maximum (due to moving ). Gas in the truck was empty, sputtered to the gas station and was told to just add some gas and not worry about it. Would have been nice to know before leaving. Inside of the truck was dirty - food left out in the ground (McDonald's, subway, Tim Hortons out on the floor), garbage was everywhere. We filled a garbage bag full of food, wrappers and cardboard before we used it for our trip. I understand that there is a fast turnover but a quality check should have happened before we took the truck. The employee was nice but overall experience was not up to our expectation.Kelsey N.

The vehicle was out of washer fluid. The operator had a couple of issues with the vendor side of the app. I think they need more/ better training. Overall 6/10Mike P.

Gentleman rude Sent me out to scrape frost off windows truck was dirty in back. Not swept out Didn't have 10 blankets we reserved Then as I was leaving he found 5 blankets bunged in a bag. Told me to give home 5$ cash for them Our initial reservation got cancelled and the reservation team called and rebooked us at this location. They made me wait over to the side while they served all the other customers first. The truck was not clean. They charged for SafeMove when I specifically requested not to have it added, but they did remove it after. I had to take a picture of the mileage and gas level because I felt that they did not want to be bothered to go out and look at the information in the truck. I did not book at this location but was redirected here 45 minutes before my pick up time. It was 7 km (about 15 minute) farther for me to travel for pickup and return. This put me in a time crunch on moving day. On top of that, it is a convenience store and they had to keep serving other customers while processing me. The last straw was that the charged me for 2 rental period when I was under 4 hours.Thomas M.

There was a mileage discrepancy between what they stated and what the image on the odometer was. 80 almost 80 miles difference. Good thing for taking a picture with time stamp at the beginning of our trip. Took 30 min to pick up and 30 min to drop off as the store is a convenience store and having to wait for the right person that can help.joanne B.

On my reservation I declined the "Safe Move" charge but it was added to my invoice. The fuel tank was not full when I picked the vehicle up and I added 11litres of fuel for a 90 km trip and was still charged a $10.50 fuel surcharge.David W.

i) This location person forced me to limit my 23 hours of booking applicable for 9 AM next to return early same day by 8 pm. I had to call Uhaul to change it back. This was uncomfortable. ii) never purchased safe move but they charged me CAD15 for the safemove. I need selected this while booking the trip. Please call to fix this on 469-212-4891ROHIT S.

I told him I didn't need insurance that I did everytime online the day before. He then said but u have to sign this paper and he checked off insurance 15.00 and never told me. He then charged me not .89ce t a km but 1.43 cent a km instead. I said I was not paying 4 insurance because I already had insurance (I am an insurance agent) I know that I was already covered with my own policy. I was mad. He told his son to take it off my bill but when we where discussing it his son put it threw anyway. Nice scam they got going on at this location. I said I wasn't leaving until he fixed the bill and he said, " put up a chair we are open til 10pm, you can sit there all day". Wow, I will NEVER recommend my clients or anyone else to uhaul again. This location needs to be investigated. I drove 16km with a 19.99 truck and my bill was almost 70.00!!!! I had it for 2hrs. What a scam!SHERRIL F.

The vehicle we were given didn't have work a/c blowing out the main vents, only through the feet a front strip of vents at the front for the window. Thankfully, a cooler day, but then when the driver was alone, unable to reach to the passenger side and manually roll it downJOSHUA W.

The location and your agents should be clearer on the check-in process. What should have been 10 mins was 40 mins. Your agent told me I had to go to this location, which was different than I booked, when they were open. They were confused as the key was in the lock box. Instead of telling me to check in using my phone. They retrieved the key from the lock box and rebooked me manually. Every time someone came in to buy smokes or lotto I waited. The drop of centre employee was rude, ignorant and careless, he made me to wait at the place for more than 30min for the drop off, he made me to walk back and forth to truck for bo reasons which was his job to do. This place is horrible and i wont recommend anybody to drop off or rent ugaul from this place.Zacharias J.

Service trying to deal with drop off was quite below average, there was an issue with drop off between the system and the online portal but the employees continued to make us wait and helping other customers without resolve. However The pickup was great and the employee then was fantastic.MELHEM D.
First of all they were busy on the phone and made me wait 10 min at least until they helped me. Then the lady gave a me a key for a wrong truck and did not do a walk through. When I returned back same scenario repeated over again and made me wait 15-20 minutes while they were busy with each other and talking on the phone. After I gave them the truck they told me â€œoh you had a wrong truckâ€ how Would I know if I took the wrong truck!? Nobody did a walk through or checked the truck at the first place. They over charged me then gave $10 discount. Made me wait 30 minutes at the end. Extremely bad customer service and rude. Never again from this location.Abdul H.

The owner, kept me waiting for a long time while he talked on the phone. He said he was busy doing other things and was reluctant to let me have the truck at 8 AM and wanted me to wait until 9 AM. Overall this location had friendly staff that were helpful and explained the rental process well. Pick up was fairly easy - 15 mins to get the keys. Drop off was even quicker and all was good with mileage calculation and gas refill confirmation. I would use them again.Jan M.
Have everything ready. It took a long time to get going when we picked up. In the usual location where we rent from uhaul, it would have been pulled up tobthe entrance, cleaned off from snow, etc. The blankets would have been in a sealed bag in the back of the truck vs us having to get them and carry them out ourselves from a corner of the store in a barely held together clear garbage bag full of holes. It just felt very lackadaisical and unprofessional.Angela H.

Actually clean the vehicle. There were used masks in the vehicle. They also claimed i owed 25$ in fuel. They tried to lie about how much was used. Fortunately I took pictures. The truck had used gloves inside of it. It had half eaten crackers inside of it. I'm assuming if this stuff wasn't taken out, that it wasn't even wiped down. With COVID-19, this is seriously unacceptable. They gave me the truck under half, l drove up the road, hardly moved the gas gauge, and they claimed that the gas was at half when l got it and that l had to pay them $15 for gas. Then, the quote they gave me was $20 less than they charged me. It also took 15 minutes to pick up the truck after our reservation. I'm not sure why this was such a poor experience, but it was seriously the worst money l've spent. We drove 15 miles and experienced so much hassle. I'd like to talk to someone about this. The people at the pickup point turned me away and said they cant help.Sarah W.
