Ordered a dolly and it was not in truck. Had to drive an extra 15 miles to get it the next day. The cost of gasoline is $4.59 a gallon and the truck gets about 9-10 miles per gallon. Who do you think absorbed that neglect? ME! The rear back tire was low and the air had no hose to fill it. Who do you think absorbed the cost of filling the tire twice? ME! The response attitude of the clerk was, at best, was ‘I could care less!' He said he can't see what has been ordered on the order form, so he didn't know. Seriously!!! Truck had a cracked windshield ! This guy never answers his phone and just poor attitude. Not the first POOR experiance we had with this guy !! He should not be a uhaul dealer !!!!

Received the truck with just under a quarter tank of gas, and after driving 3-4 miles the check engine light came on. Store was closed and was supposed to be counter pickup and wait about 35-40 mins to finally get it to be a self serve pickup. ALSO, I returned the truck with the same amount of gas and got charged a $53 surcharge, $30 for fuel surcharge and $23 for 4 gallons of gas....what a joke. Never again with uhaul, this needs to be made right.

But the overall problem I had was with mis-representing the actual cost, gas and returning the truck. We were presented with a estimate, did not get a paper copy as the process was to email it... then upon return it was ENTIRELY changed and more than I anticipated. Luckily I was able to fill up the tank before returning otherwise I would have been severely affected. The Attendant was awesome, professional, knew how to solve my problem and worked with what I had. Thanks!

The person behind the counter was very rude. Very disappointing try to charge me for blankets and two Wheeler that was already in truck. Past uhauls I have rented they ask you if you need them. Pretty shady to put a hand dolly and blankets in truck. Ask you at end did you use them. There's a charge for them. When I rented th truck I was told there is blankets and a two Wheeler in back od truck. Pretty shoddy to me when you charge not tell your customers after the rental is over.

There was only one problem I had, I asked and paid for a dolly with the truck and they charged me the $10. I had to drop the truck off at a different location so I told them so they wouldn't be thinking one.of their dollies went missing.

The problem is with UHaul. They kept switching locations of where to pick up the truck. I wanted a cargo van, they changed the location to 25 miles away. I got a 10 box truck at the last minute at this location .

U-haul apparently will grant a rental franchise to anyone. This convenience store had some retail items in disarray in the back. They were put out I was bringing back blankets. They asked me to back the truck into a tight space after they checked in. They were not able to give me a receipt or any return paperwork. They said they would email it to me. When I got it is was all zeros no confirmation of final payment if any. I returned the truck a day early and expected a credit. The phone app and the computer app they were using both had technical issues and could not pull up the truck I was returning.

This is not an actual UHaul location, it's just a convenience store which does UHaul stuff on the side. It wasn't clear where to park the UHaul so I pulled in to an available parking space. As I was gathering/moving things around to end my rental the owner came out and started yelling at my wife that I should have parked in a different place (no markings/signs indicated that). He then moved the truck himself.

This location is extremely narrow being sandwiched between two roads. This made it difficult to back the truck up to the trailer.

We waited an hour to pickup our uhaul due to the location having WiFi issues / the uhaul system being down. The attendant at the location said this happens frequently. All we were waiting for was the combination to get the key to the truck. I even tried to cancel our reservation and start a new one that would allow us to check in from my phone, but then the uhaul app said that wasn't an option once I finished the process and that we would need to go inside to talk with an attendant.

Check in was prolonged time,and the clerk had a very difficult time with the computer during check in.It was not responding and no paperwork was given If every thing is done online it should be made easier to connect to online . Also the drop off location was changed after I left with the truck to another location which was closed on weekends. Trying to return the truck using the mobile return was hard because the service in that area was poor. That's why I wanted the in person drop off originally selected

Location was fine, very nice people. Truck was terrible. Does it really only have 1200 miles on it? It was scary to drive with no acceleration at all.

That Gardner pick up location it is a mess. The man who is attending doesn't know how to do things and it is doing multiple tasks when is attending the customers. He sells all the uhaul products twice the prices.

This location needs a ladder to remove snow from the roofs of the trucks. It is illegal to drive in MA/NH with snow on the roof. I removed the snow myself halfway through the trip once i had access to a ladder. Other than that, I had a smooth transaction and was very grateful for the rental. The u-haul owner was pleasant to work with.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a retail situation. This location lied about the return time (charged me an additional day) as well as the remaining gas (there was more than a 1/4 tank and recorded as 1/16) and charged me over $140 dollars. I called several times and they told me to call back 3 times before they started ignoring my calls. When I went there they told me I was lying about the time and the gas. Thankfully I took pictures and was able to verify gas and times. Even with the picture they continued to argue about the gas. I did get a refund after an hour of arguing. Absolutely infuriating.

The locations is really hard to pickup and return truck. When you book your reservation online they ask you like four times to upload license. You really should only have to do that once.

Reserved a uhaul and was given a COMPLETELY different location for pickup. Went to pickup and they didn't have my reservation in their system and that this happens alot! After about 15-20 minutes of their employee being on the phone with uhaul they said it's at a different location and to go there. What the fuck did you send me to one place only for it to be at another? And don't get me started on the employees at stop and buy. The guy had no idea how to work the online system to give me the uhaul and actually tried to charge me again! I wasted about an hour and a half of my time when that could have been spent packing but instead I'm running around town and dealing with idiots who should NOT be renting anything to anyone. Would NOT recommend this service based on my experience and based on what a business providing this service said about you, that this service has been more of a hassle and complication than it has benefited his company's time. Mine also! 👎🏻

This location and the location in Phillipston were both terrific; pleasant helpful and easy. How ever the location in Leominster a very large place, was absolutely horrendous because of two people in charge. Two of my friends have also noted that difference. A man and a woman, both young were rude and insulting. I was shocked.

The trailer front end was on the ground and the attendant did not help me to connect the hitch to the trailer. Then he ask me to take a picture and bring it over to his desk. I ask for help and he told me that he was not responsable for it!!!
