We showed up 15 min prior to our reservation for our 26' uhaul truck and didn't receive a truck until the next day. They ended up crediting us $150 and giving us a free dolly and blankets.. but it threw a wrench in our plans! It all worked out but I was disappointed that our truck wasn't there until 24hours after we reserved it.

I Had a reservation in Graham Wa. I was told at the last minute we had to drive 35 minutes in the opposite direction to pick up the truck because someone had vandalized the trucks in Graham. I understand but thought Uhaul should have brought the truck to a location closer to me. Fuel is pricey these days and my time is not free. The employees in the store were great no issues by the way. Truck exterior was dirty but I can understand that.

The window of my vehicle was broken by a vehicle prowler while I was inside the store at 1 in the afternoon. The vehicle smelled like fentanyl and the cabin was sticky. Key box was missing when I attempted to return vehicle. This was not the location I originally selected because I have had issues before with vehicle quality and issues checking in/out. Definitely will not come back to this location. Please get security for your lot.

I have been a customer of Uhaul since the late 90s. Based on my most recent experience, unless changes are made, I will not use Uhaul and nor will I recommend this company to anyone. I completed the online form and received a quote of $122.00 based on availability of cargo van and anticipated miles to be driven (online system indicated decrease in milege due to driving 120 miles). I attempted to call 12th Street location in Tacoma to verify availability and was promted the wait would be 15 minutes. I am a 5 minute drive from the location. I immediately drove there and one cargo van and 1 8' pick up truck was in the lot. James and Nick indicated the cargo van was not available. James called another location and they indicated they too did not have one. He checked the system and it showed one available. He called back and they indicated the key was lost so they couldn't rent it out. I asked if they would honor the mileage rate for the 8' pickup truck. Nick immediately responded, "No way." I asked why the online system would falsely advertise a vehicle being available? Nick explained, "Look, you're dealing with a 16 year old system that's a piece of shit and the company won't fix it." I went ahead with the transaction of the pickup truck due to already having made arrangements with two separate item pickup locations for my job based on, what I would later learn to be false representation, online availability indication. I went to the lot and what James rented was a 10' truck. I returned to the store to inquire on the miscommunication and James indicated the 8' truck was not available due to vandalism and the new vehicle not having stickers. After returning the vehicle the next day, I was presented with a bill more than double what I anticipated paying. Please honor your iitial rental representation and make the appropriate corrections to financial charges. Thank you.

Better customer support when calling with a question or issue. The first person I talked to yelled at me as I couldn't find the key drop. There wasn't one. She delayed my going home by 30 minutes looking for a nonexistent box, the second lady was most helpful.

The personnel in charge of coordinating pick up and drop off locations for the Tacoma region did not do well at all. The DuPont/Olympia region did a much better job in comparison. It was like night and day, but the people at the Tacoma store specifically were polite, professional, and helpful. My overall experience between the two truck rentals was completely different though. One was simple and easy and the other required me to make countless phone calls and do all of the coordinating myself. The entire crew of maybe 5-6 different people I interacted with on the DuPont side should be training people because they do their job well. I wish I could say the same for the Tacoma side.

The reservation confirmation referenced "depending on availability". A confirmation means that your equipment will be there. It was there, but this reference is inconsistent with a reservation. The confirmation also indicated that I needed an inspection prior to the rental. I drove to the uhaul location and was told this meant the trailer needed to be inspected. This is poorly written at a minimum. Also, the reservation confirmation indicated that "this capacity was not available for this vehicle". I never learned what this meant. I recommend more clarity in your communication. The staff at the location were fine and the auto carrier worked fine.

Truck was dirty and covered in dirt and dead bugs. As I was driving there were 2 spiders crawling around the windshield inside the cab. Had to pull over multiple times to try and find them.

They overcharged me for gas. I put gas in the vehicle 2gallons only drove 10 miles yet was charged an additional $27 for gas. There's no way 10 miles is $37 worth of gas. I just dropped off the keys so l have to accept the charge. I'll never use this store again. Plus owner is rude

Staff were courteous worked with me towards getting a truck for me. I had registered/reserved a truck online with mobile pick after their location closed. I was informed that this was not possible at their location. The staff worked hard to get me a truck. They did and I was a satisfied customer.

Facility was mostly organized and very clean. Staff was courteous and polite, even with so many customers early on a Sunday morning. Contract quickly pulled up and verified, process finished and I was in the road in 30 minutes! Drop off was just as fast to include getting my receipt finalized and trailer disconnected for me. Very pleased with this experience

The 26 ft truck springs were so bad that the truck shook uncontrollably, I almost lost control numerous times. I reported it the staff and Manager. They said they would tale it to maintenence, I hope they don't rent it out this coming weekend, please..

Opened early and the representatives were friendly and helpful my quote was within a few dollars of the actual charge. It couldn't have been better. I was expecting worse at such short notice, just before memorial day weekend (moving/camping season)

The fine youths at the counter were so helpful. My new bride Xiao-Fung hardly speaks the language but they patiently assisted us through the return of our rental using gentle hand gestures. As if I that kindness weren't enough, the young woman who might have been the manager recommended a local delicatessen where we might find some fresh tripe for Xiao-Fung's grandmothers Phö recipe. She is steaming the green onion now and the tripe looks as wonderful as our new home! Thank you U-Haul!

I was sent pictures of the truck to check the status at pickup. The truck in the pictures had a different front bumper and had no notes about the numerous scratches and dents. The employees politely listened to me questions about this, but didn't provide much helpful direction for what to do to make sure I wasn't charged damage fees. The interior of the truck wasn't clean, the window crank handle was broken off. The steering wheel was covered in paint. None of these things were documented at pick up. I know that this location is in a tough part of town but the employees could definitely use some more support.

I was in able to return the cart dolly to the original pick up point., but Amber at the North Auburn Branch was very helpful and willing to work with me so I didn't have to drive all the way back to North Tacoma as I wouldn't have made it on time.
