Stellar service! Jennifer, the owner, and Dave the service manager, listened to me and got the job done on the spot. I was in a pinch as I was on a road trip when my car broke down while hauling my teardrop camper. Thus, I had to purchase a new car to get back home. Unfortunately, the tow package on the new car lacked the wiring kit. After several attempts to get this work done while on the road, I was lucky to land at the UHaul on El Camino. Dave tried to assist me on the phone with the initial install, but when I hit a glitch, he actually drove to the store to help me on his day off. This kindness and personal touch is nearly non-existent in today's world, and when it occurs, I take note. Thank you Jennifer and Dave for helping me to get back on the road to Colorado. Your professionalism and generosity was much appreciated. UHaul is lucky to have you both! On a side note, this UHaul store was one of the tidiest and cleanest stores I've frequented. I dislike how u-haul company does not fuel up all the way. Makes it almost full and force us to figure out the best amount to stop. If I ever use u-haul again and this happens again. I know for sure it is a scam and will no longer service with the company.Victor X.

Improve the signage. It's not really clear where to go when dropping off until you drive around most of the building, which isn't possible when there's a line of trucks like there was today. It's not clear that you don't need to go inside and you should wait in the truck.Patrick W.

The clerk that helped me was in training and took over 30 minutes to complete my check in. She kept forgetting her employee number to login and was only staring at the keyboard to remember her number without asking for help. When she was finally finished, she told me to go find the truck without any specifications as to where the truck was or even how to find it. Terrible service. Would not recommend.michelle Q.

The equipment was pretty beat up with a fender bent badly that it exposed the tire. Kind of defeats the purpose of a fender. But it was a trailer and not a big deal. The issue I have is the lack of service when I returned. As I pulled into the lot some guy gave me a stern look, pointed at his eyes (like I see you) and then motioned in some direction. I had no idea what he was trying to communicate. Then some lady walks up, I roll down the window and she just barks, "back it in front of the other one!" No "hi," "please," or "thank you." Similar experience when I picked it up. Just stern directions and lack of common manners.Kevin G.

Check in process was smooth-all questions answered, the young lady was extremely nice. The uhaul truck I rented was super clean inside out, but driving it was a nightmare. The rear end alignment was completely off. In order to keep the truck straight on the freeway the steering wheel had to be turned about 90% to the left. Uhaul was able to work with me and drop it off at a closer location instead of bringing it back to them. Please test drive your uhal trucks before renting them out to people. I've rented a 26â€ uhaul over 5 times and begging capable if driving it, except for the one I got.Kathryn M.

Service was excellent here on this date from check out to check in. However the only thing I want to comment on is that the Uhaul truck was clean however it smelled extremely strong of urine as if homeless had lived in the unit and been urinating in it for sometime. Maybe it needs to be professionally cleaned with some stronger chemicals to rid the odor. Nobody wants to place their belongings in something that smells like a urinal in 100 degree weather. Not trying to be rude but it was disgusting to smell and be in and out of all day.Sara P.

Smile more. I like personality. Maybe the person was tired. Have a sense of humor. Push the insurance more. I felt like it really didn't matter. Let us know when you change managers. First, the pick up experience was extremely stressful because during the 24/7 check in process, we were not provided with the pin to open the lock on the back of the truck to obtain the keys; it was not easily identifiable. We had to wait for the office to open for approximately 1 hour and were on the phone the equal amount of time before we were assisted. It would have been nice to receive an email confirmation with the PIN. The manager who arrived to the location as we were waiting was extremely helpful and professional so we were extremely grateful. Second, the U-Haul pick up location kept changing and I received conflicting information. My user account reflected Arden and the texts I received reflected El Camino. Last, the online experience was great, overall no issues there.Justin M.

Jennifer, the GM provides excellent service. There a number of UHaul options in my geography. However, I find that Jennifer's El Camino Ave., Sacramento location provides the best/most consistent customer service. I rent there fairly frequently, even though it is a bit further away from my home.Laurence D.

I have rented from this location many times and this is a U-Haul branded store. I was literally verbally attacked by a member of the staff here for parking in the return lane as I was picking up a trailer and was just going to have to pull back over there anyways. After rudely screaming at me I went into the location and asked to speak to a manager where this employee attacked me again screaming and being very aggressive. There was 3 staff members besides the lunatic that was attacking me who all witnessed her behavior and stared in amazement but did nothing. The manager wasn't present at the time but one of the staff member said they would let the manager know. When I returned the equipment today I was surprised to see the employee that attacked me still there. I have never been treated so badly by any one at any business including the DMV before in my life. Not only that but the trailer I rented was missing one of the pins that holds the back gate closed. I pointed that out to the staff when they hooked the trailer up to my truck and they blew it off with no concern although I see that as a safety issue although a minor one I think that should have been addressed.Jeffrey P.

It was too far for me. So I was more than 30 miles because a one way trip was 17 miles. I had to pick up and drop off there because I got a last minute call saying my truck wasn't available at my pick up location..
