I made the reservation more than one month ahead of time. I really wanted a 5X10 box trailer but I got a 6X12. It was a bit too much for me to haul it for 2000 miles. Otherwise everything was goodAurel V.
Understanding and helpful. One thing uhaul needs to do, is clarify where the truck is being dropped off. Every time I choose a location to drop off a rental, I go to that location and they state I need to take it somewhere else. DumbRyan P.

The Kansas location is far more professional and honest than the McHenry location. The sassy young man at the McHenry location always tries to rip you off for gas and always has an attitude. The employees at the Kansas location were helpful, nice, and there was actually the correct amount of gas recorded. I will only use Kansas uhaul from now on.Micah R.

The tank was low on fuel and truck was disgusting. The store itself was clean along with the bathrooms, but the two ladies working there seemed to be ambivalent to the needs of customers and were just robotic in their actions. Made you feel unwelcome.PIERRE Z.

The manager and store associate did the best they could with what they had but at the end of the day, U-Haul is just a crap company. This is my 2nd time having an issue with U-haul and it's because of their lack of guarantee when renting one of their items. I rented a 6x12 trailer and when I showed up, the trailer was down for repair (it needed a compressor) . I had people who were supposed to help me move, plans to leave that same day and the u-haul that I reserved was down for repair with no notice! I was then offered a smaller trailer or a truck which would not be comped and would've been triple the price I was supposed to pay. I called U-Haul to complain about the issues I was having and was told that I should have receive a call the day prior to confirm when and where I'll pick up my trailer and that it's not a guarantee the place I reserved my trailer will have it. I did not receive any call the day prior and when I told the woman on the phone that, she basically said well I can call the place you were supposed to pick up from and see if there's any update. The place I had just left FIVE MINUTES AGO. Needless to say, U-Haul offered no solution. Lucky for me, my friend had a compressor and offered to fix the U-Haul for them. They allowed him to and thank god it worked. No discount was given for my troubles. We paid full price for a trailer with a flat that we had to fix ourselves because U-Haul was acting helpless.Deja D.

I specifically asked for a trailer with a ramp so that we can load a motor cycle, BBQ, heavy stuff. Instead I received their last one with a tail gate. That was after I waited 45 minutes to cancel the first one that she assigned me to that was closed trailer with no ramp. So we had to make ramps out of bricks and boards. Safety hazard but we got through it with no injuries. Thank God !!!cornelia V.

The lack of standard option like a dolly for the facility to have, especially when the client needs it for moving should be a top priority for U-haul to have quick solutions for replacement or loss. This helps a smoother transition for the facility and client.Anna D.

Let me say !! You need to have better tracking service of were your product is. Better way for your stores and customer service !! Instead of calling to be told this call was reservation-then you cancel my reservation without telling just because you don't have what we need . So 4&1/2 hours later numerous half hour calls . Then find a trailer not what we wanted but had to take it, due to non available!!! Worst service, rude employees,not knowledgeable employees!!!JODY L.

Tika, the front desk clerk was outstanding. Very friendly and personable. Knowledge of the entire U-Haul process is top notch. She was handling 3 different customers at the same time. 2 in person and one on the phone. Very patient with all the inquires. U-Haul is very lucky to have her as an employee. I spent the better part of 2 hours on hold during multiple phone calls in order to make sure my rental was set up, on my way I was running late to my pickup time staff was very accommodating. When I arrived at first staff stated I could not 1 way there local trailer (1 way what was my reservation was for), but after she spoke with traffic they let me take it.Sean B.

I have rented auto transport trailer numerous times but this location is horrible when it's time to return the trailer location is too small no room to just pull up & unhook trailer they expect you to turn around in a small area & back the trailer up like it's easy I get frustrated trying to back up & had to leave it today not in the parking spot that they wanted today will most likely be the last time I rent a Uhaul trailer from them.David Y.
