The first U-Haul we tried to rent the license plates was messed up on it they didn't have another license place to put on the truck and then the second truck they gave us the ignition switch was hard to turn the key you had to sit there for at least two to five minutes jiggling the ignition to get the truck started and we mentioned it to the manager he did nothing about it

The staff at the location are very helpful but there are not enough of them to provide adequate customer service. When you call you get put on hold and after 10 minutes the phone system hangs up on you automatically.

Phillip A.I came into this location on 07/01/2022. The 2 women working behind the counter were excellent. I used restroom at this location, it was clean and smelled great, which was very unexpected. My only issue was apparently Uhaul's computer system was down. The Uhaul that I had reserved online, I could not pay for. There was an error with Uhaul's system, it could not access my card, which was saved in the system. It could not access my card in person. I had to leave the location and come back with cash. My rental was $168.00, I had to pay an extra $100.00 deposit to rent the truck, in cash. This process took over an hour. So, it no fault of the employees, just fault with Uhaul's operating system; on that day.

William B.The online app to truck share is a great idea if it worked. We arrived at the location a little before 9 am the time the location was supposed to open on Sunday. The app did not allow me to check-in online, and even if I had been able to I would have to wait for the location to open since the blankets and dolly I had reserved were not pre-loaded in the van. My husband and I were the first in line, which continued to grow by the minute. By the time the location opened, it was 9:15 and there were at least 15 people waiting to be helped. It is my understanding that the employee who finally showed up had to wait for the manager who lives onsite to open the door for her??? So if this is accurate, the manager of the store was upstairs and for whatever reason chose not to open the location on time and not help the employee get things under control. The employee was very snarly and completely unprofessional. To top it all off, the dolly we had reserved was not available, which made our move more difficult. Upon returning the van, we parked it according to the app to be told we had parked it wrong and we needed to move it. Once again no problem, but there is definitely confusion between the online app and the brick-and-mortar store.

The person that checked the gas in the truck admitted he was wrong. He did say he was new and did not know how to read the gas gauge. The manager is suppose to be corrected this tomorrow morning.

Upon returning the equipment, the late afternoon crew was the totally opposite. They should take lessons on how to treat customers. Customers should not have to be treated like uhaul coworkers. Signaling customers with a wiggling finger to come to her! I should not have to wait half an hour to return my equipment. She didn't even tell me that I have gone through all steps on the return process and I waited another 15 min. Only upon asking if thats all, and I good to leave, the clerk said yes. She then said that Im all good and allowed to leave, Very bad!

They called the closest other facility and they also did not have the right unit available so was going to be double what I reserved. Staff on location said "that has nothing to do with us it goes through corporate we can't help you." It took 20 mins of waiting before finally one offered 1 month free in the expensive one and now I have to go back to move all my stuff at my own cost when the correct unit becomes available.

Had to change units but the staff wasn’t very motivated to change it until I continually complained. This was a Sunday and a manger with the authority to do so was not on site. I was moved finally that same day. Since then, I have been contacted twice stating they didn’t know which unit was mine. First time, we corrected the issue then a week later I was asked again because they lost the paperwork that I drove up there to fill out. Their organization is terrible and very unprofessional!

I spent almost an hour (and $50 for hired Labor) waiting for my unit. When it was finally handed over, it was on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator in the facility. Large heavy items would have to be moved in the staircase which would be extremely difficult. I had to cancel the storage. Very disappointing and expensive.

My biggest concern there now is the fact that the lighting is not working at night so it’s very very dark and unsafe. I spoke with facility yesterday and they told me that it was a problem that stemmed from the ice storm but he’s working to get that fixed waiting on the electrician but I explain to him that is very dangerous and he said he would get on it right away again. The entire staff here is very helpful though so I know he’ll get it done.

He helped me get a better unit because I found out the original storage unit I booked online was upstairs and he had no elevator so Nigel Hilliard found me a ground unit outside to help because I did not have help unloading my truck. Nigel also tried to help me as much as he could with my truck dilemma but unfortunately the system would not allow him to help me more than what he wanted to but he has fantastic customer service skills and he definitely should be promoted to a better position if possible because you need more people like him in your establishment.
