The mobile self-service pick up option is not working. It took me 50 minutes to go through the process twice. And both times I was disconnected during the ID verification process (after 15-20 min waiting time at the "ID verification" step alone) and had to start all over again. Finally, I went to the "pick up key station" and the gentleman there did the process manually on his end and that is how I received the keys and was able to move on with the day.

The website failed on several occasions stating "lack of memory" but my phone is very new with maxed RAM and storage. So the self-checkout process took quite a long time. Also I wrote a question on the chat while waiting for approval but no one ever responded.

You really need to figure out the app check-in/pick-up process. Waiting to be approved cut into our rental time and slowed down our entire day.

Location is great but took 9 calls to get someone to pick up the phone... voicemail left, busy, voicemail left, guy says 'call back in 3 min', I call back in 3 min he says 'call back in 5 min; voicemail, voicemail, busy, etc..

Poor customer service at location. Took 30 mins to pick up truck. Some staff members acted very apathetic and remained unspeedy. Online check-in did not work as the website did not pick up the back of my driver’s license and remained glitchy. After 15 mins of waiting for verification online the staff member present processed me manually. Myself and several customers were agitated by the slowness of the app and lack of professionalism shown by staff.

I drove all the way to the uhaul down in park slope last night and the mobile pick up had a van buried behind like 100 vans. Had to cancel and rent in the morning was VERY annoying to drive all the way down there just to not get one! Not sure why this location on flushing didn’t have mobile pick up last night

Everything!!!!!!! Bad customer service...lack of communication....this was my first experience and it was my last!!!! Never again would I rent a truck form this location! The workers there treated me very unprofessional. When I went to get the truck I had rented, no one knew anything....it was just terrible....NEVER AGAIN!!!????????

Parking for gas in this tight space was tricky but I pulled it off after a few attempts. The customer services was good.

this was a terrible experience during my return. I used 17 miles on the van and filled the tank back up to the beginning of the 1/2 mark with 1.7gallons of gas. the rep told me i needed to pass the 1/2 mark line and demanded i put more gas in. 17 miles does not equate 1.7 gallons of gas! when i explained the mark was at the beginning of the 1/2 he claimed it needed to be past it; this is not documented anywhere in the contract. his comment to me was "well go complain to uhaul then". terrible customer service!!

The day drop off site was fine and the person who helped me was excellent. However the U-Haul system for finding a drop off location in Brooklyn after hours the night before was terrible. I was on the phone for a half hour and the person could not identify an available location close to where we were. She was good, but the computer system couldn't do the job. I had to try again the next day during business hours.

I forgot to photo the mileage ; I traveled about 3-4 miles tops - instead of arguing, I just paid for 15 miles - my bill came to 70.18 and that’s what my receipt says -when they emailed my bill it says 78 18 - and not to reply but email a different address - never heard back as to the explanation- this place and owner is shady

Originally I selected mobile pick up, once I arrived they asked me to submit multiple photos and information. It sounds like it would be the more faster option but it definitely wasn’t. I was waiting 25 minutes for approval until finally the employee at the station offered to help. It was a 2 minute process. I wish I would’ve choice that option instead of the mobile one. The process to pick up online is too slow

Ultimately the location and truck were great, the people very friendly and helpful. I have no issues with this location. But I had the most excruciatingly frustrating experience with the online rental process. I made a reservation for 6 PM at a DIFFERENT LOCATION, arrived on time, and despite confirmation of my reservation date/time/location on the App dashboard, whenever I went to "Pick up my truck," I got a blank screen falsely telling me my reservation was at 5 PM and to return to the location at that time. So go back in time. I have a feeling that it had something to do with a time difference from their headquarters and NY. When I was speaking to customer service, they didn't really understand what the problem was so after 25 minutes explaining and being put on hold and transferred, I was hung up on. The next customer service rep tried her best to help me out, but despite her efforts she couldn't help me either. It made me feel like I was taking crazy pills that nobody had heard of this sort of malfunction before (and, yes, I restarted my phone, closed out the app countless times, logged into my account on both Safari and Chrome, and everywhere it was the same problem. Every time I tried to "pick up my truck" I was taken to a blank page, telling me to go back in time to the wrong reservation time, with the only actual clickable action being a "dismiss" button. No way to start the verification process.) Ultimately I was transferred again, put on hold for another 25 minutes, and told to go to a different location, which ended up being this one. Everything went fine at the new location, but I really felt the need to talk about how terrible my experience overall was. It's the worst feeling helpless, being put on hold, hung up on, transferred back and forth and ultimately getting no solution to the problem but starting over nearly two hours later. Maybe I also just feel like I was dealt an injustice and ranting about it makes me feel better, but hopefully nobody has the same experience I did.

First of all your company is so archaic that you don’t event have an option to rate the U-Haul app other than the apple store. That’s the problem. It’s so glitchy and barely works. I made the reservation on the app and then in the “my orders section” nothing was there. It’s a train wreck and yet you as a company offer this app as a quick and easy option all of the time. It’s a lie. You need so revamp the entire app to keep up with your promises as a company.

I made a reservation for 6am and planned on picking up the vehicle before they were open using the app. When I arrived, it turned out that you can only pick up vehicles at this location when they open at 8am. Uhaul should know this so people don't come at 5am only to have to wait for three hours.

Truck has lots of graffiti and deep scratches on the side. Looked like crap Transmission needs work Inside was clean. Staff nice.

We rented a dolly to help move a piece of furniture and it wasn’t available at the location. Although the equipment necessary being available is guaranteed by your company. Had I known it wouldn’t be available I would have secured one another way.

The back of the truck was filthy, lots of debris on the interior of the bed. Barely any gas in the truck after pick up and the attendant told me if I brought it back with 1/4 of a tank I would get a credit back. I filled the truck up to his highlighted amount on the paperwork and when he checked it back in he said it wasn’t at the appropriate level.

Customer Service laughed when I asked him questions about the instrument panel behind the steering wheel. This was a new vehicle. It had a rear view camera that was not explained to me. I got a dashboard messages saying low tire pressure (which affects mpg) and washer fluid was low. Beautiful vehicle. Customer Service were rude jerks. They ran my credit card 3x so I’ll need to check my credit card online to be sure only $56 and change was charged. Two stars for the new van.
