The process was confusing, the QR wasn't working and the employee who gave me the keys wasn't helpful at all, had a bad tempered and was rude the whole process. I would not recommend this location.

I got a phone call that morning and said they don't have a 10" track for me even I already booked the turck a week ago. So they asked me to change to cargo van. We spent a lot of time to fit everything inside the cargo van.

Easy process. Customer service rep when returning the equipment was rude and short. The lady who helped me when I arrived was helpful and professional.

When we arrived to pick up the truck we noticed an “engine” light. We were greeted by a male who refused to give his name. When we mentioned the engine light, he remarked “why don't you go somewhere else to pick up a truck.” When we returned the truck, the same representative, first complained that we were late, which we were not. He proceeded to say the truck was dirty (there were 4 leaves and I jumped in and cleaned them out). In fact, the truck was given to us dirty with garbage from 7-11 - a place I do not frequent. The attendant also said he was tacking on another day because we were late. When I originally made the reservation, it was for 2 days. It was never a 1 day rental. The quote was $338 for 2 days. Then, you proceed to change my pick up location and time which neither worked for me. I called and changed the time and location that worked best for me. After calling the “reservation department “ we confirmed the new place and time.” We never received a follow up confirmation. When we called to confirm, the pick up time was incorrect. This has been a complete fiasco. If you do not have what the customer wants when making the original reservation, you should let us know at that time. Your representative represents the Company. His arrogance and lack of people skills is sufficient to remove this person from his position where he deals with the public. He was a complete embarrassment. You want customers back you will have to do much better. A very disappointed customer,

This location was ideal for me because it was close to my house. The team was very friendly and helpful. However, it's surrounded by a homeless encampment that makes it feel pretty unsafe after dark, and parking is very difficult. Your trucks desperately need to be upgraded with Aux/Bluetooth and backup cameras. Pricing was outrageous. $1.99/mile is a scam.

Let customers know ahead of time what the process is like. I had no idea I would have to wait for verification from Uhaul before renting the vehicle; that should be handled before the customer's card is charged. Additionally, the vehicle had no hazard button in it which is absurd considering the standard use of a Uhaul. This is a huge safety issue that the company should absolutely look into.

No improvements needed. The people are friendly, the system is easy, and the gas to refill is right there. This is definitely the best Uhaul location I have used.

The two men who failed to disclose their names was very rude at this authorize dealership for U-haul on September 26th 2020 they lied and said that I did not have a reservation at their location and to make matters worse they made threatening remarks to me pertaining to if I do not bring back my rental on time not to mention u-haul messed up my reservations I called in for on September 19th 2020. Then when I said I had proof, they had me to put the chip to my credit card inside the credit card machine and said that my card declined twice in which I made a recent transaction on my card before and way after leaving the location my card worked so because they lied again I had to use cash they tried really hard to get me to leave without a rental. The dolly that came with the truck had a wheel missing and plus we had to ask which one of the trucks to take it wasn't volunteered to us in which caused time wasted because we had to inspect the truck before leaving. When we returned the truck the rate on each milage was changed from 1.39 as confirmed from the reservation to 1.99 a milage in results to that they overcharged me and I will be reaching out to corporate for my refund for the overcharge payment. The representatives were extremely rude upon arrival. The woman attendant was dismissive, rolled her eyes and spoke very rudely. Walked away while I asked a question as if I was not standing there. Upon return the same woman was still very rude and not helpful. Again, very dismissive with a nasty attitude.

There were homeless people in many of the u-hauls. There were two people in mine clearly doing drugs. This was abhorrent. The van smelled horrible, but looked clean enough to use. Would not recommend.

The station was being refueled when I arrived and had to wait to refill the Uhaul for return. Advance warning of expected fueling time could help. That being said, the customer service at this location was fantastic, very responsive, informed, helpful, and personable.

Excellent COVID protocol; and if one uses the feature to upload their license and check in online ahead of time, very fast on a Saturday morning (8:30am). Located at a gas station, so convenient to refill the gas; and check -in happened as I was doing that. Again, fast. Friendly folks.

The van itself smelled terrible. I think someone urinated in it before I used it. Also, it doesn't handle potholes and bumps too well. However, it had plenty of space for loading, and its generally the most cost-effective way of moving.

NYC is tight for rentals. Especially at the end of the month. We were able to book a time slot days before. Suggest the online app for check in. Check in was slow (one person at a time) do to the pandemic. Suggest you add time to allow for these new protocols. Be smart. Be safe.
