Both sides of the truck had damage that was not shown on the downloaded app. I tried to take a current photo to show the damage but it did not work. The rental staff came out and photographed the truck to show the prior damage before my rental commenced. She was very conscientious.Frank P.

Austin from the phone lines made me feel bad because,he Double book the track in then decided to yell at me about it when I asked if I could rent it again when I didn't need to I was confused on how long I had a for. I asked him to apologise for his rudeness and he told me that it's my opinion that I feel that way and I said apologise to me now because you have no reason to talk to me that way and he proceeded to tell me that I needed to bring the truck back! I said you guys are getting paid for the extension which is why you guys have it am I correct or not so why are you giving me grief. I even posted about it on Facebook have a good day.Keith D.

I will no longer rent from 16 cents, 3 shoes & 5socks store. The employees there were rude and very in service. The truck I rented was dirty and hadn't had previous maintenance. The truck tires were missing air and were down to 16 when I exited their store. Poor maintenance puts a burden on the customer and also puts them at risk while driving on the highway.Jennyfer M.

They did not do an inspection of the interior. I spent an hour on cleaning the inside interior in order to drive the vehicle without the horrible smell, and stains.Thomas H.

The cab of the truck was a bit dirty. The truck needs an alignment. I had to keep the steering wheel in a left aimed position to go straight. The lock on the truck was extremely difficult to get off and the employee trying to free the lock was very unhappy about it. That's fair. Uhaul needs to provide a new, functional lock. No staffer should have the amount of hassle that this guy did because of a non-functioning lock.Amy S.

Fire the people at 16 cents 3 shoes & 5 socks! The worst experience iv ever had Ever. I literally got told when i came to pick up a truck that they hate uhaul. And that i need to have the truck back by 4. I told her when i made the arrangements i wanted the truck till they close at 5 just in case, but the person I called in store couldn't make it till 5 but he could do it till 4 and it would be fine. She didn't care and said you paid for the truck you have it now, the other person is out of luck. I said maybe you should call them and let them know the situation. She told me she couldn't do that. So me and my wife hustled to have it back in time, because we couldn't imagine how bad that would be for the next person because these people don't care. Then when we came back to drop the truck back off i had to search the store for 15 min just to even find the sales rep again in the store. I finaly got her attention got looked at and she acted like i wasn't their. Then when the lady that aced like i didn't exist, finally came to the counter she said she couldn't help me and walked off Without saying anything more and got the other lady rep that had told me she hated uhaul. that i guess was still in the store, couldn't find her before. She told my wife and I to move over so they could help someone els that was getting a couch. I said no because we were already at the end of the counter in first place and then the lady told me the other people are customers im just uhaul. Basically that I'm not and my money is not worth her time. I cut her off because she was about to say something els and asked her to "just finish the paper work so we can leave, we just want to leave". She then gave me a rotten look and finaly proceeded to finish the paper work. Then printed it off and LITERALLY THREW THE PAPER AT ME! And said "Now you can leave." Were so pissed off never have we been treated so horrible. Me and my wife have rented uhaul more times than we can count over the years and its been great every time, but this office needs to fire these two women that were working on march 1, 2020 from 12-5 at the 1233 division store. Or just do like they also said they cant wait till they dont have to deal with uhaul anymore and give them their wish and take the franchise out of their hands. Just horrible!Chad L.

The lady was very rude. She never greeted me, and she glared at me and rolled her eyes anytime I said something to her. She kept asking me the same questions and was very rude when I answered. I told her I wasn't able to get the online part to work to check the truck back in and instead of trying to help me she originally said she couldn't help but then said it would be an extra charge. She was silent for about 5 minutes and then said your receipt will be in your email. She was also arguing and rude to the guy she was working with. I love the North location but I will never go back into the Sharp location.Mariah M.

This location has TERRIBLE customer service. I rent on average 3 uhauls a month and this is by the far the WORST place to rent a uhaul. When I went in to pick-up the truck rental the person helping me said I had to use the app to rent the uhaul. We don't use the app because it is a pain in the ass. I said I don't like to use it. His reply was "you want me to do all the work". My reply was YES as a matter of fact I do. Upon return - the truck sat in the lot for 24 hours before they checked it back in so we incurred another day rental. I called and they refused to change it. We are a business that rents uhauls a lot and THE only reason we came to this location is because the location we usually rent from did not have a truck. I would not recommend anyone to rent from this location - from start to finish the customer service was THE WORST.London H.

The person who helped me get set up for the rental used the word "retarded" to describe the amount that is charged to a customer if they don't return the rental with the proper amount of gas. Although I appreciate the warning regarding returning it with the correct amount of gas in the tank, they need to be trained in using professional language with customers.Katherine U.

We were given a number to call when we were ready to drop of our U-Haul in order to find a location near us. The number we called did not seem to be a part of your company. Luckily we called the location where we picked up the vehicle and they found us a place nearby.Jason G.
Take care of business on line, makes check in and out a lot easier. U-Haul is starting using existing businesses to make rental easier, but the staff are a bit slow and unaccustomed to the process and you can smooth it out by inputting your own information on line.Stephen B.

The young man at the counter was personable and professional; Unlike the man at the AtoZrental location here in Spokane. The only thing that would've helped was a heads up that I needed to keep the key until after I had used the app to return the vehicle. There was a huge mix up and they did not even have the right truck ready for us. So after hour taken up of our moving time they also tried to charge us extra for things we did not even receive! The 24 hour guy didn't even call us back till 45 min of waiting around. Then he really didn't stand up to customer standards because he was pretty rude and seemed to not care if we got our truck or not. My move started with a nightmare which is not what should happen. I would never use U-haul again if it weren't for the positive experience we had at drop off.Elizabeth C.
Send me to the location I reserved. I reserved truck in Airway Heights, flew from California and you moved my pick up location the day I boarded my flight. When I picked up the truck, none of the things I ordered and prepaid were available - so I then had to drive to Airway Heights to pick all those things up - or at least the things they had. I returned the truck at 8:10 the same day to the nearest drop-off location, which was Blue Moon Auto Repair at 1403 N. Greene St. It was closed, so I put the date and time on the paperwork that I put in the drop-box, along with the key. Now I'm being charged $180 for three extra days, even though I returned it just 12 hours after having rented it. (Contract # 86454324)ted M.
If you rent equipment like furniture blankets, be sure and count them. Also, always check the truck carefully to make sure all scratches etc. are noted.Philip B.

Worse experience in my life,no Uhaul signs on building,opens at 0900,called corporate three times,they new nothing about new drop off the place they directed us to was a furniture store,they told us they would not be able to except because they would not be open as a Uhaul except or until Monday we were there on Friday.finnally they excepted after talking to Uhaul.spent 3 hours on phone ,looking for drop off and finally dropping off and doing paperwork.I will never use Uhaul againjerry A.
