I don't know that I would ever rent from Uhaul again. This experience was a bit of a disaster from beginning to end. First my reservation was cancelled then reinstated but no one could be there when I arrived to pick up the truck. I was told there would be a code for me to get when I went onto my account or check in and there was no code to the lock on the truck. So we spent over an hour waiting to get someone on the phone to help us unlock the lock and get the key from inside. It caused lots of issues with the reason we were in London and delayed us immensely. Upon returning the car, we also had to take care of the return on our own as this location is closed Sunday. When we called to close everything off, we spent another hour on hold. Really not the service expected.

The person in charge must have made a comment on my contract after I left the location so I had to pay $25 cleaning charge, I left the truck as clean as I received it.

The problem with u haul was not the location. Pick up or drop off. The problem is that I brought the vehicle back with the same amount of gas. Dropped the keys in the night return box as told to and expected. Then I'm charged an extra $105.45 the next day. Also after calling customer service and having a dispute filed, I'm put on hold for 50 mins. And answered by someone completely different then the first agent. The fraudulent charges are disgusting and wasting my business my time. When I honoured my part of the agreement. U haul is a problem everytime I've used them. Lesson learned never again. This is gross.

First off... wearing a mask and having hand sanitizer would help. Location added kms and never explained the drop off routine. Only told me to drop keys off in drop off box. I'm not one to normally complain but after seeing the Google reviews on this location he is scamming everyone. I will never use this location ever and will advise others to avoid the location as well.

I was charged for $10.50 of gas as part of my final bill, despite having left the gas guage higher than the level I received the truck in. I had put gas in the truck just prior to dropping it off. I received the truck with just slightly less than a half tank, but as part of the pick up process, I confirmed the amount on the website as half full. My thought was leaving the tank just over half full at drop off would suffice. I guess not. Or perhaps this location just tries to sneak in additional charges that customers have no control over. If so, this is a terrible business practice, and next time I can confirm I will choose either another location or another company for my rental needs.

Representative did not wear a mask and does not believe in COVID, that made me uncomfortable. Also, he did NOT want to help with proper hitching of the trailer to my vehicle, until I specifically asked. I rent infrequently, and thought it reasonable that I ask for his expertise to be sure it was done correctly.

Online return check in would not allow a photo upload. Call centre was not able to help us, as an automated response stated the system was in difficulty. The local site manager accepted our after hours phone call and confirmed that we had returned the rental.

Left brake/tail light not working. Faulty wiring reluctantly repaired on site. Tailgate very stiff to open/close. Although the trailer was returned within 2 hrs, I was charged late fees & penalties - had to call Uhaul to have charges reversed

I arrived late, they were not open at 9:20 the lady who worked there and 2 customers were there in their vehicles. I had it booked for 9am. My biggest complaint is I paid on debit and the owner dude could not return my money on my card because it was “Simply Financial”, my banking choice. This would have been nice to know when I paid upon receiving the trailer… now I have to wait for a cheque in the mail… as sketchy as the owner was I pray that the cheque arrives and I do t get ripped off as it was a sketchy moment trying to get my money back on my card that I had originally used. I will avoid that location

Given the wrong truck to start with. Had to confirm gas gauge with attendant as it did not match paperwork. Turned out odometer did not match either. Was charged for miles when distance was recorded in kilometres resulting in an overcharge. Definitely will not recommend this outlet.

Previous renter was 3.5 hours late returning the truck, so I had to sit at this location doing absolutely nothing the whole time. It completely threw off our moving schedule.

I rented U-haul a few times, but I really disappointed this location. 1- The room is full of smoke so it is hard to breath 2- I asked for a dolly, he was surprised. I said "I was requested online and I already paid for it". 3- He charged me extra money. I asked what is it for because I already paid on line? His answered "I don't know". I found out later that was tax I drove truck home, then do you know what next? - I could not find dolly. I called him to ask for dolly, his responded "do you need dolly" I said "yes I am ready paid for it" He said "I will give you credit for it". It is 10 dollars plus tax but I don't know where it is gone to - my account or my credit card It was my big disappointment

The person from this location: Gave me wrong information about delivering the truck; Lied about my delivery time saying was late (and I even called the call center before my delivery due time to confirm I delivered on time); The person also left mud boot marks on the truck and blamed me even thought I was wearing flip flops. All that mess resulted me disputing a wrong charging of almos 40 dollars with Uhaul

I have utilized earlier U-haul facilities twice last year. I had a very good experience. This time, the gentleman at the reception was not well trained. He was required, as per his statement, an I-Phone instead of an Android phone resulting in releasing the van to us. He did not have access to release the van in time. We waited for some time. In the meantime, he got guidance from his manager over the phone. But he ignores his fault and did not allow us to deliver the van to another spot and counted the billing time from the original booking time and benefit of extra miles by dropping at the same place of picking up the van. But still, U-haul is the best service and I will use it from another spot and never ever from this spot unless I knew that the concerned person had now been fully trained.

Not professional. Try to add insurance without explanation, feel like dealing with tough used car dealer...twol dollyes on the truck even thogh never requested or rented so took space. Milage charged when pick up not after. Treat customers like I suppose to know everything no explain or short answer for questions so need to ask again. Took my drivers lisence on his personal cell phone without explain.

There was no wifi so the owner haD to email me a link to enter my drivers license and then i entered it myself. Took about 15 mins to get that done. There was no walk around done before or after th rental. The door handle on the drivers side was broken so i had to climb over from the passenger side. The truck had a couple of service lights on. There was a blanket and a dolly already rolling around in the back wgen i picked up the truck so i took a pic and told the owner. I was still charged $5 for each. Cant b bothered to go back for a refund. Overall a terrible experience.

Was charged for a cleaning fee of $25.00 for no reason. The only thing that I loaded into the truck was a couch. Both my partner and I had clean shoes, so there was no dirt. When we got the truck there was a parking pass in the cup holder, and the check oil notification was on. Owner did not review charges with me just took keys back and said bye.

The place smelled like the smoke, the vehicle needed an oil change, they didn't have a 2inch hitch ball for the original equipment I was looking to rent and nowhere did it say I needed to provide this. I ended up renting a vehicle for 2 hours during the day and was charge an overnight fee. Very bad experience and will not be renting from this place again

We did not receive any notification that our truck had been sized down or that our rental time had been cut by 12 hours. The person working the desk was not wearing a mask, nor did he offer to wear one. I felt unsafe. Very unprofessional.

Uhaul double booked my truck that I rented a month in advance. If it wasnt for this location pulling some strings, I would not have had a truck for my moving day

The hitch was rusty and seized, required wide-mouth pliers. No assistance with hookup or checking the taillights, etc. Will never ever rent from a non-U-Haul depot, the service does not compare and I worried about the equipment the entire rental.

Drivers door broken, good for exit but had to crawl over from passenger side for entry. No gas in vehicle and was compensated but had to put $48 of gas in before meeting hired movers. Brawny Movers were fantastic, total professionals. Strong, skilled, careful and diligent. Best movers I've ever had.

The manager over charged me for the fuel even thou O filled the tank more than I had used. I also showed him the receipt as a proof and he didn't even bother to look at the receipt for the amount i paid. I would never ever walk into that place again and won't even suggest my friends to go there because that person is a cheat and number one racist.

The owner of 1st class auto detailing tried to scam me out of a 70$ deposit and ignored u-haul customer service calls when I complained over the phone. Went to 1st class auto detailing and dropped off the trailer after renting for 24 hours, he told me there would be an email from u-haul with receipt of the transaction. There was nothing until I called to complain and I had to return to the store, he then called me rude for inquiring about my deposit and blamed u haul services for it not being processed.

It isn't obvious that this is a uHaul place until you've almost driven past it. So better signage would help. Parking lot is very small, so anyone returning a mid to large truck would have trouble. Other than that, I wasn't happy with uHaul telling me to return to this location when it was a 15 minute away to the opposite end of town, when there were other uHaul locations closer.
