SHEMEKA SI am extremely disappointed with my recent U-Haul experience. After using the rental truck to move my belongings, I discovered cockroaches crawling out of my suitcase and furniture when unloading. This was horrifying and unacceptable. I had to spend hours cleaning everything and treating my clothes and furniture to ensure no pests. This caused a huge inconvenience and extra costs for cleaning supplies and pest control. I expected a clean truck, especially considering the price I paid. If needed, I have a picture of the cockroaches as proof. This was far from a pleasant experience, and I will seriously reconsider using U-Haul in the future.
Turnuf YService was extremely top notch. Picked up our trailer on time. Courteous professional service. Encountered a problem with the size we needed to move within the 1st 2hours and called the Uhaul traffic dispatch. They jumped on solving our problem immediately and with another hour had a larger replacement trailer ready for us. New pickup location was professional and courteous. I tried to give him a tip and he refused and said no thank you, you'll need it for gas. Customer service through the entire 4 days was awesome and definately took away some of the moving stress. 6x12 trailer pulled very smoothly for the 800 mile trip. Thank you all involved...including Tyrone and Cameron from Georgia area.

Bre Cdealing with uhaul has been one of the most horrendous experiences I have ever had. made a reservation 5 days in advance on peachtree st, got email that truck would be on buford highway at 9 am.. at 9 am i get a text that says truck can be picked up in conyers,ga.----what??that's 35 miles away, how am i supposed to get there?? went back to ptree location and they locate a truck in sw atlanta but no one there until 11 and this place is 15 miles away but had no choice (have loaders scheduled at 12) and this is in a dangerous part of atlanta. 244 wheels is a delapadated old gas station with junk all over the place. no one shows at 11 but get a guy on the phone who takes info etc. and i finally get truck, gas on empty/ guy at ptree says will get you $50 for the hassel (didnt happen) and returned with 1/2 tank and was told would get credit and that didnt happen. guy in jax was good but the rest of the uhaul people could have cared less for the hassel and inconvience. . this is the worst run operation i've ever witnessed.. will never deal with uhaul again. suggest you look at penske, ryder or enterprise.

Robbie BOur truck was dirty and had leaves all in the back that we had to clean ourselves. The staff was not personable and they only spoke with us over the phone and it took over an hr for us to receive our truck.

Hasan GMy appointment was at 10:00. I flew into Atlanta from Charlotte arriving at 8:30 a.m. I took an Uber to the U-Haul location and arrived at 9:25. The location is in a very suspicious location and I did not feel safe. There was no one there. I figured since my appointment was at 10:00, someone would be there by that time. At 10:15, no one still was there. I checked the location's website and it stated they opened at 10:30 on Saturdays. At 10:45, no one was not there. Between 9:30 and 10:45, I called the number listed outside to call at least four times and no one answered. Someone in a parked car, who had obviously been there the entire time, asked what I needed. I advised I was there to pick up a U-Haul. He called someone and immediately got someone. I was allowed to speak to him and he said I should have called the number listed. I advised that I did. He then said, "Oh he saw that I called". He then said the last person that had the truck kept the keys so he had to go to another location to get another key and he would be there in 20 minutes. Well it took him an hour. I got the truck that I was scheduled to get at 10 AM at 12 Noon. In the meantime, I was calling other U-Haul locations for a vehicle, but none was available. One location even indicated that this was not unusual for this location and recommended I call 1-800- GO-UHAUL, which I did and this was even more frustrating because I was not able to speak with anyone. This is the worst experience I have ever had in renting any type of vehicle.
