If I was not skinny and short there would have been no way to get into the vehicle. There was so little room in between the doors that I scratched up my arms and legs trying to find a way inside. Then your camera was malfunctioning on your site but you didn't have an alternate way listed to upload the photos. I say on the customer service line for 30 minutes which was cutting into my time slot. The furniture rack that I had rented wasn't in the rental at all. Then upon returning the rental I again had to sit on the customer service line for over 30 minutes because the camera still wasn't working. I used the live chat and the first representative told me I would be charged a fee of I didn't hold on to the keys and return them the next day instead of our rental agreement. Blaming and punishing your customer for the business' IT malfunction is unacceptable.

it was really upsetting to start the morning off that day not being able to pick up the truck that was already reserved and confirmed 2 days before pick up. I was told it I was a truck share location so I would be able to pick up the truck when I had scheduled it with no problem. False! Then when I was transferred to another lady to help me find another location, it would have been nice to ask if I wanted the same thing that I had already reserved, rather than just being told what i was getting without hearing any options. I was transferred again to another representative to cancel my first reservation and was asked if I wanted to add any supplies needed for my move. I honestly asked if anything could be added for free for the inconvenience I had already with my first reservation. It would have been nice to have had something added since I had already lost time for the move I had for the day.

Location was hard to find and building was old.

Have an ACTUAL U-Haul employee staffed at the location. This non-employee called a person over the phone and the reservation was done this way. The lady, supposedly, gave me her name and phone number. I had questions and concerns during this rental. I tried calling her, and the phone just rang continuously. Three times I called and she never got back with me. When I returned the vehicle I let that employee know. Apparently the location I picked up the vehicle from was notorious for complaints. That information about another location was not for a renters ears. I had swept out the vehicle and the return location employee went on for 10 minutes about the truck not being spotless. There was dust from sheetrock. I had not even moved one piece of sheetrock. She finally let it go and didn't charge me for it because of the man at the location I got the vehicle from. oh....I had rented a 20 foot. They only had the largest truck you have for the same price. It barely fit around the turns at storage facility I have. All in all, I will still ALWAYS rent trucks from U-haul, but this rental left a really bad taste in my mouth. Yes, I will still ALWAYS suggest U-Haul to friends and family. I pray this next rental this weekend and every weekend for a few weeks goes A LOT better.

The location was supposed to be closed but the owner happened to be there when I pulled in after hours. I expected to just drop off the keys, but he greeted me warmly and asked me to come in so he could check the truck in personally. Such great customer service! Thank you George!
