John Jarvie | Overall ExperienceThere is no signage to get you to 29 Palm Storage. Google Maps ends route guidance, saying you've arrived at a cul de sac, but you're still a good 1/2 mile away down a little used dead end road. The gate was open with no one around at this "secure storage facility". NOTE taped on building door to call a number for Uhaul help. Wonder how long a customer would have to wait for them to show up? The app saved the day for dropoff.
David YalchAutomated security gate opened and allowed us to enter but would not open to allow us to leave. We were able to get the door code but it should not lock customers in during normal business hours.

MICHAEL REEDYWe were able to return one more blanket after a couple days bs being chartered for it, which is nice. Also, as you drive to 29 Palms, it should have a sign attached to tell you that U-haul is there too. No signs for u-haul, which would be helpful.

I had a enclosed trailer there, it was easy to park and always clean. I will and have recommended 29 Palms. KEEP IT UP 20 PALMS!!!!!!!!!!!

We were relocating from out of state and needed someplace to store our RV for a few weeks until we were able to bring our rig to our home for storage. The weekly rate was super reasonable and they didn't have a problem with us extending a couple of times until everything was in place for us to move our rig. Super friendly and responsive staff - even though we were out of state. We ended up renting a moving truck from them as well!

They finally sent a technician out and he told us what was wrong but didn't fix the problem.We had to go 750 miles with engine light.

Plus it was 10 miles from where I was originally supposed to pick up the trailer. The trailer should have been where we were supposed to pick it up.

Ralph VieraReserved over 2 months in advance at a location 1/2 mile from my house. When Uhaul called to set up pickup, we’re told the closest one is in Surprise if we want it. 70 miles away!!!!! Thats really horrible service and I dont know how that can be allowed! The Uhaul design was completely peeled off side of trailer and one tire was bad! Guy said last people ran it low on air, but it would be ok! I was nervous running it on the highway for 3 days!!!! Just a crappy experience mostly due to the horrible pickup situation!!! Also…..only one man working at Surprise location and 4 people waiting! Took forever!!!

Brent HuppertReturn was very easy. The employee was very friendly and helpful. When he began taking off the uhaul from my truck he informed me the emergency chains had never been connected. I was shocked! I could have easily been in an accident as I traveled from Amarillo, TX to Surprise, AZ going through high and low altitudes. Had weather been an issue, my trip may not have been successful. PLEASE ASSURE EMPLOYEES HAVE PROPER TRAINING. The employee who attached the uhaul had plenty of time to double check his moves. Yes the employee and I checked the break lights and turn signals. I have no idea why the emergency equipment was not attached. Seems lilke a pretty big deal t

Scott KerbsSuper frustrating. Scheduled month in advance, get call late the night before there was none available at Belle location. Three phone #’s later found truck at remote location off of 159. No one was there, no instructions, NOTHING!!! Finally 30 mins later placed call, FINALLY, got ahold of someone who walk me thru the process (which should have been explained after relocation). Ridiculous !! Would NOT recommend !!!!

Sarah GeistThe driver side windshield wiper broke while I was driving. Had to repair that myself. Then with the location I was driving to had freezing temperatures. The windshield fluid used in the vehicle froze and was unusable for the last part of the drive when I needed to use it to clean the windshield. I suggestion would be for U-Haul locations use the de-ice fluid during the winter

Nathaniel RoosMy first location at Deer Valley was closed. Consequently, I had to travel another 40 minutes . Then I was charged $11 for additional miles that I had to travel because Deer Valley was closed. Not happy with U-Haul.
Selma GuzmanBrand new U-Haul location - under construction - literally in the middle of the desert. Would have been a sketchy area if my husband wasn't with me. The man that helped us was great - just the location was odd, especially since there are many other U-Haul pick-up facilities in AZ near where we were staying.

NATHAN YODERThis was the worst rental experience I have ever had. I arrived to a dirt field with one truck covered in dirt. The building was under full construction and vacant. No one in site. I was able to retrieve the keys but no dolly or blankets. Called your customer service who tells me I have to go to another location to get supplies. This cost me another 90 minutes out of my day and extra miles. And then you charge me for additional miles. Your customer service was horrible and didn’t believe that no one was there. Again you sent me to a dirt field construction site. Obviously no one cared enough to update your website that the location was closed. Your CS keep telling me that they would be open at 9. I looked into the windows and the place was under construction. There was a toilet and sink laying on the ground. Never once heard an apology. And then told me I needed to call reservations to find a store that had the supplies I ordered. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!
