When we dropped off the truck we explained that this truck should not go back out until it is fixed, that is should not be on the road. The woman assured us that she would call it in to have it looked at and repaired and apologized that we had such a bad experience .

I had ordered 4 dozen moving blankets and they made no effort to fill that order. I came in from out of town and had to drive to another town to get my moving blankets which put me back 90 minutes and had to pay help that was scheduled while they waited on me to get the blankets

Lee HSmoke shop not a good place to pick up a U-Haul as the daily "traffic" customers in the store take precedence. Therefore too long of a wait. Truck was dirty inside - excuse that it had been raining. Not the kind of experience I usually have from U-Haul.

Keiki MFront safety chain on auto transporter was not available and I had a time commitment to make so I drove inadequately protected and without the equipment UHaul specifies. Additionally I checked tire temps with a quick ‘back of hand’ walk around and DS Rear tire on transportes was hot. No evidence of tread or sidewalk separation, however tire pressure was 28 psi and all others were at 60. Total downtime was 3 hours and waited 2 hours for repair tech to complete the repair, partially due to his ineptitude to replace the wheel/tire which was the offender. He didn’t read the work order, nor listen to me when I pointed to the problem tire. Terrible experience. I hate using UHAUL because your equipment has a problem, is not at the pickup location as promised, the staff at only marginally able and your costs have always been pricier than I can justify and only keep increasing. I’m buying my own transporter and maintaining it myself. This way I can trust it
Richard RThe place is a smoke and vape shop that happens to do UHaul rentals. The attendant wore rubber open toed open heeled rubber sandals; stupid risky stuff to wear around heavy gear. Hard to back trailer in due to strange curbing.

KEITH MI was told one price , then charged something else. The 15 foot truck I was supposed to get was suddenly at another location , even though they knew a MONTH ahead of time. So I had to get a bigger truck or get charged more miles to go to the other location to get the correct truck. Good thing I don't plan on needing another truck in the future. If I do ever move again , maybe I'll just sell everything so I won't need a truck.
