Terrible service! I wanted a one way rental. Reserved one, then it automatically got changed. No idea how. Just got an email saying it changed. Then when I went into the 1st store they told me it was in town only and to go to the store just north that they had 3 available. I went there and was told, nope. Then forced me to drive on the complete other side of town to pick one up and proceeded to charge me even more. Absolutely unexcusable.Jonathan B.

As my boyfriend and I were standing at the desk to pick up our rental the person who assisted us took a call which required him to take payment from the customer and instead of turning the screen around so the customer card information isn't revealed he just left it visible. It happened not only once but twice while we were there. He didn't speak to the customer that walked in after us even when he walked us outside to our rental. I had to tell the gentleman he would be right with him when he finished with us. I don't know if the Rep was having a bad day or what but I won't be using them again.Cory B.

When rental was picked up, rep didn't know how to hook it up, sent us to another location. They hooked it up and we started our trip at 1 in am. After 3 hours we stopped and realized the straps were no longer securing tires. We drove into Amarillo Texas and when they opened at 9, we got someone to help us secure the vehicle.Jan V.

Waited 40 minutes for the representative to return from the bank whom we met when we arrived. After a LONG forty minute wait of standing in the parking lot, the representative gave us the approval to leave without checking the trailer and providing a confirmation of return!Jana R.

We got there more than 15 minutes late and that kept us from being able to check out the truck online. Yet the error message on the UHaul app was generic and didn't tell us what the problem was - just to call. We didn't realize this would be the case. The hold time for UHaul customer service was more than 30 minutes but luckily I was able to do an online chat with someone who figured out the problem and adjusted our check out time. I spoke with several people at A Better Self Storage the day before and they were all very helpful. The person who answered our call Saturday morning wanted to help but because we rented through UHaul she couldn't help. I guess my issue is really with UHaul and not this location. Next time I may rent from a place where staff is on duty when I want to pick up the vehicle - usually around 7-8.Haleigh L.

Get rid of the app or make it optional, clean large items like empty soda bottles so they don't roll under the brakes when you're trying to stop, wipe dirt from cab, clean the windshield, and hire people who treat customers with respect. The assistant who helped mark their missed damage items acted annoyed that I needed his help and kept telling me to use the app when it simply wasn't working on my phone. I miss the old uhaul ways and feel this new app is a step backwards. I will be looking elsewhere for my transportation needs moving forward. These kids you're hiring are lazy!Brian G.

My only issue was not receiving the dolly I ordered with the truck. The associate Aaron (spelling?), who was working the day I returned the rental, was a huge help and went above and beyond my expectations to provide excellent customer service. What would make it better would to make the app check in process easier. I had to wait for a customer service representative to call my wife to verify my identity. When I reserved the truck I gave my driver license number and card information my identity should of been verified then.Oscar P.

Uhaul wasn't swept out, it was very cold outside. We where told, if you can't get it back on Sunday call uhaul for another day. Sunday came, and we where charged a bitter day anyway, returned late. Didn't realize there was a specific time.Annette G.

Wash and clean the trucks. Truck was filthy on the outside so when you touched anything your clothes were dirty and had to wash your hands, driver floor was dirty from wet shoes. Inside the back was okay though.DOROTHY F.

The only thing I'm really not happy about is getting charged, what seems to me is made up fees like an environment fee. Also don't understand why I got charged for using the vehicle for hours after I turned the vehicle in. Don't really like the fact that I had to take pictures And make sure your truck was safe and dependable, especially since I'm not a mechanic. Just seems like your not too concerned about anything other than getting paid. Not thrilled about being charged full price before I even used the vehicle. I don't mind paying but paying for more time than I used especially when I had to do all the work just doesn't seem fair.Randall L.

I had rented a truck from a UHaul close to my house but they moved me to another location because they didn't have the truck I needed. Then the 2nd location said their truck was only for "out-of-town" rentals and I needed an in-town truck. So they pushed me off to a 3rd location that was 10miles from my house! I had to pay an extra $22 in mileage usage because this company couldn't do their job correctly!KEVIN S.

We were dropping off a tow with a car on it. The service personnel didn't know how to do it at all. Asked US to disconnect the car ourselves, AND back it up to a parking spot WITH a 20 foot uhaul truck. Very disappointing that an employee of uhaul doesn't know how to work their products.Darrell David S.

1. Did not explained return procedure for text message and self return procedure at all. 2. Did not check gas amount correctly when they check returned vehicle. And when i did initial check in when i did website check in, the gas amount was wrong. So i had to adjust it. 3. When i call to fix the mistake, they told me that they didn't know who checked the vehicle and there was nothing they.can do since they summit the report. And they told me to call uhaul customer service,which took 3 hours to talked to someone.In K.
There was no dolly or blankets in the truck. I needed those and it took and hour to get my truck. That online mobile check in was horrible. Kept having to download IDs three times. Next time I move I will use Enterprise rent a truck.Stephen S.

Our chains drug underneath causing them to snap in half. This entire move has been a complete nightmare thanks to uhaul but setting us up right in the first place. Never ever ever again, that guy was high when he loaded me up, his manager let him train on us and drive away not even two inches about the ground. The whole dang thing was Insanity!!!MARY K.
