Doing business throuh a barred up window not seeing the agent is very third world. No means of opening the gate to get to the office, especially to drop off the trailer is not appropriate. Not having the office available to talk with even by phone on the day to return the trailer is more than unsettling. No return calls or emails. Worst is having to drop off the trailer outside the security fence with no confirmation puts the burden back on the customer. What if that trailer had been stolen? You would have come to me for the value of the trailer. Oh, and the $50 guarantee for the prior location not having the trailer, I doubt that I will see that. Not looking forward to doing business with Uhaul for a long time.

When I went to drop off the trailer at 8:30, the place was locked no where to drop it off safe. It is enclosed by fences that are locked up. Then I had to call someone else in order to leave the trailer and they wanted to bring back another day and I said no. It was a big inconvenience for me after a long hard day of driving. I will not do this again with you all

drop off at 4:30pm office closed but say open till 5pm, also got there at 9am no one came till 9:10am i will never do business at this location again

The place was suppose to be open until 2pm I arrived at 1PM and they were already closed customer service at this place was definitely no help

My original reservation had me picking up at 8am at 12215 LBJ Freeway in Garland, TX. I paid by express check in the day before pick up. I arrived at 8am at the LBJ location, waited in line and after several minutes was told that I needed to pick up at 3926 Shiloh Rd.While there I purchased a roll of tape on a tape dispenser. They had trouble with the credit card machine and asked me to move to another register where they could run it again. I then proceeded to Shiloh Rd location, a run down mini storage facility. The gates were closed, office closed. I Went back to the LBJ location and told them there was no one at the other location. They called a UHaul number and was told the other location would open at 9am. I proceeded back to the Shiloh location and found the gates still locked. A few moments later a man called and asked if I was still going to pick up the trailer. I explained that I had been trying to do that since 8am. At this point I received a text message stating I needed to pick up the trailer at 9am at the Shiloh location, which I was parked in front of waiting on the gate to open. A man stepped outside, opened the gate, (9:05am) and instructed me to back up to the trailer. He then told me to go inside and his assistant would get the paperwork together. I did so and explained to the assistant that I had done the "Express" check in and the paperwork should all be done. She then handed me a blank piece of paper and asked for two references. I asked what for and she stated it was required. I refused and she then turned back to her computer and stated what the charges were. I again explained that I had paid through "Express", and I'm now using the term sarcastically, check in. At this point the man stepped in the office and asked if I had another hitch. He said mine was too large. I stated it was a 2" ball and that was what is required according to UHaul. I then went back outside and taught him how to hitch the trailer. We both returned to the office where I still had to convince the "assistant" that I had already paid. At this point I opened my bank app on my phone to show her where the charge had gone through the day before and noticed the other store had charged me twice for the tape and dispenser. The man looked at the computer and verified I in fact had already paid. He gave me the paperwork and I gladly left. I still am owed a refund for the double charge at the LBJ location. The express check out proved to be useless! All systems broke on this transaction.

It's a bit confusing when pulling up to this location to figure out how to get into the place through the locked gates. Instructions or a contact number would be helpful when initially renting from here.
