They gave us the wrong truck so when we returned it on a one way the mileage and gas levels were incorrect or didn’t match their records, and created a big mess on our return. We were kept waiting until they figured it out.

The drop off of our rental U-Haul was fast and the young man who helped us return the keys was extremely helpful. The location is small though and we had a 15ft truck, parking wasn't easy. I'd still recommend this location to those needing to drop off in the area but be prepared to have difficulty in the parking area.

Easy drop off. There are mileage and wear and tear charges when you rent a U-hall and you should always fill out the form before hand and be aware. But the folks at the drop off were cool and are on the up and up.

I do not think I will use U-Haul again. I reserved the truck no problem. Then I reserved movers with the U-Haul representative in the store. The movers never called nor showed up which left me last minute trying to reschedule new movers. Due to this U-Haul customer care stated I would not be charged for an extra day for the truck rental to allow me to reschedule a reliable mover crew, whom would cost additional money to hire. They have not refunded my initial mover crew charge yet, and charged me for the extra day for the truck after stating they would not. Now I am out hundreds of extra dollars in pending charges, and had to pay increased funds for a different reliable moving crew. If movers are not reliable and U-Haul is not going to cover their lack of fufilling contractual obligations such as missing scheduled service times then the company should not offer the third party service. This is a mess I did not want to deal with while moving. There are other options for truck rentals and moving services that I think I will explore next time.

The only problem we had was we scheduled for a 2 pm pick up and the office person was out until 2:15. I would think they had a reservation pick up schedule. The guy was very nice and the pick up/drop off easy.

rental was 2 hours late, so I had a moving crew standing around waiting. The truck wasn't clean (no big deal) but the worst of it is the gas tank was on empty!

I didn’t get my u haul on time and therefore I had to get it for an extra day and pay 60 more dollars than I would if I had gotten my U-Haul on time. Also, when I complained that the U-Haul wasn’t there at the specified time the customer service worker told me I would get money back. That didn’t happen. I would like a refund.

The equipment was fine. The only slight problem was the tow/haul button on the gear shift. When this is on, it causes the truck to rev engine & lunge forward. I guess it needs to be there for towing, but shouldn’t be active when just using the truck without towing anything. Location mgr told us about it, but 1st time I didn’t realize it comes on auto when starting. It almost caused a big accident, being out of control.

Parking lot is ridiculously small for the big trucks, guy behind the counter was really nice, but the location is horrible for offering rental equipment to rent from. I would never recommend this place to anyone even someone i hate

The associate was very calm and i liked that since I was stressed out. And the location gave me a deal on a bigger truck since the vehicle I reserved was never returned. As for the physical location, there is no parking on site or close street parking and the office space was cluttered and a tad run down. The vehicle was a tad run down as expected since it was older, steering wheel cover would make a difference, and there was a water bottle left on the door by the previous user.

They don’t open until 11 o’clock… late hours when you’re trying to move something. When I arrived the computer was not working very well about 12 minutes to get the keys for the truck. Not enough employee support for a U-Haul brand. Only sold one employee.

Slow network that this place uses took awhile to get checked in. The van I rented smelled like fish and the back was dirty as I noted in my inspection of the van. Also lack of parking for costumers cars should be addressed. I had to move to another business lot to leave my car for not even 2 hours.

Have more parking space available to park customers' cars! It's natural that when we pickup a truck or a van, we leave our car there at the location until returning the rental.

Noel was absolutely great. He stayed calm even when other customers were rude. Noel realized that Uhaul made a mistake and actually you guys owe me a $1.39. I returned it with more gas than I originally had. Really Noel is a real asset to your company.

The truck I received was filthy. Liquid stains, food crumbs, and random trash in the can. The box had saw dust and general filth. I pointed out the mileage delivered was incorrect to the sales person didn't bother to change it even. Also they explained nothing to the women that were ahead of me, like mileage and fuel return information. I would never use this location again.

I arrived to find the truck extremely dirty so I went back into the store to let the sales person know. He assured me that I would not be charged a $25 dollar cleaning fee…yet a $25 cleaning fee is attached to my bill. I have tried 3 times to get in touch with someone at uhaul but I keep getting put on hours long hold with customer service-and have yet to get a call back from anyone who cares.

This location looked quite "seedy". It was very cramped and cluttered inside. There was a young man (possibly a teenager) who was on the desk, and he seemed somewhat "unmotivated". When I went out to the van, I had some trouble starting it initially. The vehicle was working fine, I just had to get used to it. I went back inside to ask the young man but he had already locked the doors. It was not even 10am. He must have gone to check on the storage units. The point is there was no-one else there and no notice on the door. When I returned the van in the afternoon, I spoke with the same young man. He told me they would check the mileage, etc. and send the final bill. When I turned around to leave I slammed the top of my head into the edge of a metal shelving unit that was sticking out into the aisle. It cut my head and left me with a large lump. I went back in and told the young man that he should notify the owner of this. I explained that if I or someone else was hurt badly it could have legal implications for them. He was apologetic and told me that he would speak to the owner. On a more positive note, the pricing was quite reasonable.

Was supposed to be able to pick up the truck via 24/7 share and verified this with someone at the actual site after making an online reservation. Truck was not available until store opened at 0930. Truck was very dirty in cab and in cargo area. Trash was left from previous customer in cab and cab floor was filthy.

Drop-off location has a sign outside that says 'NOT A U-HAUL DROP-OFF SITE'". The place it said to go was closed and locked. Very Confusing!! We drove around the block at both places trying to figure out what to do.

The drop off process was very misleading. My contract told me to drop at 2680 Newport Blvd while the app was telling me to drop at 2458 Newport Blvd. Once I arrived at the location for the app the signage at the location said “not a drop location”, so I proceeded to the other address. I understand that Uhaul is trying to make pickup and drop off easy using the app, but listing 2 drop addresses on the same street is not helpful and confusing. The U-Haul employees at 2680 Newport Blvd couldn’t even figure out why my contract and app were different addresses.

Too small and we had to back up the truck on a busy street to get out of there. We did not pick this place but our reservation was moved because there wasn’t a truck at our location. It was 17 miles away. I would have liked to see a uhaul bring the truck to the place we had the original reservation at.

It was dangerous to park down the street. The signs say no UHaul drop off, but the instructions say to drop off at that address. Trash left in cup holder.

Fast and easy. Was in and out of the office in 5 minutes. Not the store, but would like an option similar to Enterprise truck rental where they can adjust the pricing to my specific needs. I was moving from Costa Mesa to Sacramento and asked about if there were adjustments to the cost. Apparently from the representative, I was told it wasn't refundable for using the vehicle for 13 hours. Around 600 bucks with a 10' truck and traveling only about 600 miles, sans gas, is pretty ridiculous. And with Enterprise, the total cost was half the price with a larger vehicle.

Store was disgusting. Filthy. The van was smelly and filthy on the inside. The van operated fine though so in the end, that's most important. Also, why do you ask for a 2 additional contacts? Never heard of of that before, strange and not needed.

On my receipt it doesn’t give an exact return address and when I went back to the location I picked up the truck at initially - it was after hours and I see these huge signs on the building that say DO NOT RETURN TRUCK HERE!!!! PLEASE DRIVE TO DROP OFF UHAUL 1/2 mile up the road. So I followed the instructions on the sign. Now I’m being billed 222$ for following what the signs say. I’ve called and spoke with uhaul and been out on hold and told I would have a phone call back and no one has returned the call. It’s been a week now and I need these funds returned. I will be filling a BBB complaint today as welll.

I brought truck to assigned location. I received a text stating that i should do self checkIn if I dropped off during non-business hours. I brought the truck to location during business hours so I did not doctor self check in. When I i formed the man working there that I was returning the truck, he told me I had to do self-check in. I showed him the text that stated self checkIn for non-business hours. He said it doesn’t matter. I have to do self checkIn. I couldn’t get the location setting to work with the link I was given. I finally told him that he had to receive the truck. Then he said to me “are you sure you are at the right place?” This was very condescending. I said yes. He asked me again and asked me to state the address on the text. This was very unprofessional and inappropriate. He was rude and demeaning. Before returning the truck, I filled the gas tank to 5/8 to avoid a penalty, even though i should have be required to fill to 1/2 only. At a minimum, I expect uhaul to reimburse me $20 for the extra gas. I will never rent a truck from uhaul ever again. Additionally, I ordered over $200 worth of moving boxes and accessories. The order was wrong. I received fewer boxes than I ordered. I received the wrong tape. The entire experience was very stressful and frustrating.
