Customer service was great. Easy check in/check out process Gas tank was just over half full. Would be great to get a full tank especially if I had to drive a lot of miles

Nicole BI put gas into the uhaul to get it back to where it was. Apparently I was just under, which you can’t tell if you’re looking at the gauge. I was charged $10 for gas which I don’t believe I should have been. It would have been a 5 star experience but for that.

Reginald WThe location was great and staff was helpful. U-Haul billing was another story. Pre-authorization was for 3 days of a rental, although I was only renting for 2. At drop off I was charged for 1 day of rental. The following day I was refunded the 3 day charge (is it a pre-auth if they have to send a refund?) and charged another day of rental. No receipt was sent for the refund and additional charge on this day either.

Matthew DIvan was the rep that I worked with there and he went out of his way to accommodate me. Give this guy a raise! And yes the location was top notch. Now my complaints I am about to list have nothing to with him or THIS LOCATION. First the phone app is worthless. Everything that I did on the app, twice I might add needed to be done again at this location and it saved me zero time. Second I made my reservation at a location at 901 Lancaster Pike and made the actual reservation payment there. The guy there, Dave asked as what time I would pick up my truck and assured me though I would pick up at 8:30 he'd be there at 8. At 9 am and after two attempts by phone to contact he was a no show. After looking again at the app I noticed my truck was reserved in West Chester. Fortunately Ivan was able to answer the phone and assured me I did have a rental ready for me there. This major inconvenience not only cost me valuable time but additional money because of this problem. Uhaul I feel like when I need a rental in the future that I WILL BE USING ONE OF YOUR COMPETITORS. One last note I will make these comments known on Google.

Gerry HI reserved an auto transport trailer a few miles from my location and received a guaranteed confirmation. Then I received a phone call saying that pick up at that location was not available and I wold have to travel a good distance to another pick up site. The day of my reservation I was called again and I had to drive to another state 30 miles away to pick up! And that I had to return the trailer to same location when I was done! I retired the trailer and the gate code that I was provided did not work. I’m not very satisfied with this rental. I feel that I should have been able to return equipment to a closer location for my inconvenience.

Kevin RI didn’t ask for this location. It was dumped on me the day before my rental. I made my reservations 3 weeks earlier. They didn’t have the furniture pads I requested either, so I had to go to another location to get them. And they weren’t open early enough for me, so I had to make special arrangements to pick up my truck when this location was closed. Everything worked out in the end, but only because I put in a couple of hours extra effort to make it happen. You at UHaul didn’t do a good job on this at all. I’m not blaming the location. They did a good job under the circumstances. This was a systemic issue.

Steve KGreat Staff at this location. Easy to get trailer hooked up. Staff took care of everything, Did not take long to check in, hook up trailer and go. When I dropped it off, staff unhooked, said they would email invoice and I was gone. Would definitely rent from here if equipment I needed was available.

Jeffrey JThis location was great. Your reservation process is AWFUL though. I had a truck reserved from a different location that would have been much more convenient for me for a 4:30 pickup on the same day. The day before pickup, someone at UHaul arbitrarily changed the time to 9:30 am, meaning I would have to return by 9:30 the next day. That wouldn't have worked for my move and when I called to try to get it changed back to the original time that I had reserved, I was told there weren't any trucks available at that location then.
JEFFREY BCheck equipment. Tow trailer caught on fire by rotors heating up 40 miles into a 700 mile move. Cost me an extra 400 dollars for someone else to come tow it because uhaul couldn’t get me roadside assistance for 2 days. I guess I was just supposed to sit on I76 for 2 days.
