Have helpful and knowledgeable staff that are friendly and not a bunch of jerks. You must not pay well.I made a reservation over the phone a day before picking up a car dolly. I gave your employee all the information of what I was hauling and where I was going. She quoted me a price of 44 dollars, she told me that price about four times during our conversation, I went to pick up the dolly and you raised the price 100 dollars, I was 600 miles from home, so I had to pay it. I should have used gone with another compony. I will next time.

The rruck was brought over from a boise location to mountain home. They did not clean out the back of the truck leaving pallets and plastic wrap inside. The cab was also not cleaned out, cigarettes still in the tray, trash all over the floor and gunk. Idaho locations need to be monitored.

The GAS TANK should be FULL. I picked up the truck and told it was 1/2 full and to turn it in 1/2 full.....This is un acceptable ! Every Car Rental Co. has you turn in a vehicle at FULL TANK or you pay for it........RECOMMEND. U-HAUL. CHANGE YOUR POLICY TO THE VEHICLE BEING FILLED FULL.

The trailer was ready when expected. The staff were there to assist in the hookup and check the lights. The unit was clean.

Relay to the customer the exact time the rental needs to be returned. I was told when I reserved the trailer over the phone that I'd have it for 8 days. That would have put my rental due back by Friday. They cashed me Thursday expecting it back. I needed to keep it 3 extra days and the girl was very kind and helpful to extend my rental but never said I needed to have it turned on by 10am. She just told me that they closed at 7 on Sunday.

There was a small leak in the above cap storage area. It rained the day of the move and some of the boxes were wet when unloading, with some water still in the truck cargo area.

Oi picked up the truck with a half tank of gas and upon returning the truck I left it with3/4 tank. I was not given any credit for the gas.

Customer service wasn't wearing a mask during the covid-19 pandemic. When I asked if the interior of the truck had been wiped down, she told me it had when it most certainly had not. The interior of the truck also smelled strongly of body odor. Very unprofessional. Because of the disregard for her client's safety, I would not recommend this place to a friend.

Online check in is a joke, entered all information regarding rental, insurance, address, drivers license, additional items needed, credit card info....and still had to do all of it when I got there. Online was supposed to make it shorter, did not. Checked bank, showed charges right after leaving, then when I returned they wanted to charge me again.

The passenger side running lights went out. In a very bad part of the Nevada desert. Being a retired auto tech. I repaired the problem. And was compensated by the dealer. Sometimes things are unforeseen. A good experience all and all.

First off, a huge thank you to Sam and David for everything. We totaled our car in a snowstorm right outside of Glenn's Ferry and were stranded with no idea what to do. We were towing a 5x8 UHaul trailer that survived the crash (and nothing broke inside except a ceramic flower pot). Since we had no vehicle to tow with anymore, our best option was to rent a box truck and transfer our belongings to it to continue our long move from Orlando to Seattle. Sam was AMAZING and helped us by going above and beyond his duties and is one of the nicest people I've ever met. I really appreciate everything. If you're considering a UHaul rental, do yourself a favor and go here because you'll receive the best service ever. Hopefully you aren't going to be renting under the same circumstances that we were!

The checkout experience needs to be improved! It's all done on the phone, a text was sent with a link that didn't load because my cell had bad signal so I had to wait for ten minutes for it to load and it still didn't so I sent the link to my friend and he got it to load then we have to submit pictures of the inside and parking job taking more time. Then he had to re do the survey the lady did on the computer already for us...why can't someone walk outside, look at it and do a return instead of relying on technology to try to streamline things. I cannot imagine anyone who isn't familiar with technology to try and return a uhaul..if it wasn't returned at that time, I was going to be charged an extra $20 because they wouldn't take it.

The customer service at my pick up location was superb!! Juana Gonzales definitely sets the bar for customer service. She helped me reserve my uhaul way after hours when I had issues at the airport flying into Boise. I wasn't going to make my pick up time so she offered to still have it ready after hours around 10pm for me to pickup.

No superlative good enough to describe the helpfulness, kindness, knowledge, etc. if the towing company (Tony's Towing) staff. Gail and David went above and beyond excellence, kindness and generosity in aiding us in the Uhaul experience. Service the likes of which most people decry as obsolete. So very thankful that, if we had to breakdown there could have been no better place than here at Mountainhome ID. Uhaul on line was efficient and expedient as well. J. Cooke
