It would be nice if a customer reserved a truck and it was available when and where you needed it instead of making plans to get it only to find out that your reservation was bumped to a further away location so U-HAUL could make money on the mileage. In the past two weeks I have reserved a rental and was bumped. Worst rental experiences. There seems to be a disconnect between the franchises and corporate.

Although the staff was polite about the situation, the UHaul site was down and took two hours to get back up so we could get signed in. The staff tried calling several numbers and were unable to connect with a human. This is very unprofessional of UHaul. I understand sometimes computer systems have problems but people should still be able to answer the phones. UHaul made the employees at the rental place look bad, frustrated us, and caused our moving help to sit around for two hours.

Quinn rented me a storage space and processed my return at his location, though U Haul told me to drop off at another location. I had called and e-mailed asking for a drop off with storage space and ended up doing it myself.

guy who brought the truck out did no go over the truck exteriorly with me so he did not see (neither did I) that the front right tire was slack. By the time the truck was loaded the tire was alarming low (too dangerous for us to continue back to the storage unit approx 12 mi away) so I called the Milford, DE u-haul and they instructed me to call"corporate". So I did that and the booby on the other end (Ebony) spoke slowly and just without inflection in her voice and NO empathy for our stranded situation said she would call the roadside service. They showed up 2 hours later and had to replace the tire. A move that should have only taken 3 hours took 5 hours. the guy at the uhaul rental place charged me for the gas and mileage never taking into account how we had been inconvenienced. No customer service. So... if you rent from Milford U-Haul make sure you know their opening and closing hours (one person seemed to know, another didn't) and have the rental guy go around the truck with you and inspect it. They should be telling you more information than I got and certainly that tire should have been operable before we left with it. Would I recommend it to a friend? I'd tell them about my experience beforehand and it would have to be their own decision.

I know the staff at this location and called them right after speaking to UHAUL RESERVATIONS! Good thing I did! When I drove from Spring City PA, 19475 to Milfor DE 19963 there was no RESERVATION WAITING FOR ME! I had my REFERENCE # given to me! Thank God I called them! They were able to accommodate me despite a HUGH ERROR ON YOUR PART!
