You can improve customer service. The U-Haul i rented broke an Axel as I was driving it. Now i know things happen, but having to wait an hour for roadside assistance to just call me back is insane for an emergency like that. Also, U-Haul neglected to tell the tow company what had happened and so a tow truck showed up. Hooked up up and started pulling us then the axel broke more. And we had to wait another 3 1/2 hours for another truck to show up to help with the trailer. After this U-Haul but us up in a pretty crappy motel. There was a nice hotel right across the street we could have been in but no they opted for the $30 a night motel where there was screaming all night going on. The next day I confirmed that the new truck was at the location. It was not and U-Haul proceeded to have me go get the truck. I had no car to drive 10mima away and get it. They should have at least drives me over to get it or called me an Uber to go get it. Once we finally got the truck over to the old one and loaded up the new one. After that not many issues, but I didn't have to pay more in gas because I was using a bigger truck. Overall this was not a good experience. Really things happen it's how you handle them that matter. U-Haul handle this situation very poorly.VICTORY D.

After complaining that the dash was not clean we were told the detailers on site would clean it again. There was then a smell of some kind of "new car" type scent so strong we had to put all the windows down. My wife then had me stop at a store where she got lysol wipes and wiped down the dash, seats, doors, and controls. Those wipes were black with dirt, there were several of them, (5) I think, there is a picture posted on the website for this location.Anthony N.

I didn't get the utility dolly I ordered and I had to collect and return it by smart phone. I'm old school - more like a cave women when it comes to technology. I carry a cell that I rarely use. My son bought it for me for emergencies. To get this uhaul I needed my daughters help. It wasn't an easy process but she got it done. It's a useful tool for most but for the tech challenged it's a nightmare. Overall good experience and yes I would recommend this uhaul location.Lenetta F.

I called this location to verify that they had an appliance dolly because the location I was at had a truck and utility dolly but no appliance dolly. They told me that they did. I reserved the truck and appliance dolly. I picked it up and when I got to the location I was picking up an appliance at and found just a utility dolly. I called them about it and they advised me that I wasn't charged for the dolly. Going to this location also was farther away from both the location I was picking up the appliance but also the drop off location. I was charged for 20 more miles than I would have been charged had I rented from the first location I checked which had a utility dolly and truck available. I have been overcharged AND lied to by the person I spoke to at this location. I will never use this location again.Carol H.

The vehicle was not properly maintained. The front wheels alignment was way off, and the steering wheel kept on pulling me to the right!christian K.

Great Service... But no truck inspection. He was in a hurry to leave as he was closing right after I picked up truck. Over all he was very excellent in everything. Truck was clean and ready. Truck drove excellent. No issues. Ac was cold and radio was nice touch. Seat was so comfy and adjustable. Load was full but nothing shifted on smooth ride. I would recommend this location highly. Pros: friendly, knowledgeable, fast. Cons: was told would not be charged until I turned in the uhaul that way the charge would reflect reflect actual bill and instead was charged within an hour and a half of leaving the location for the full amount quoted, which was significantly more than than actual bill. Very shady tactic. If you tell someone you'll charge them for the actual amount when they turn it in, that's what you do. Not take the full quoted from them while they're on the road without them knowing. Highly deceitful. I respect honesty, and was instead given a blatant lie.Colt H.

Make sure you have the right customers information. Even after I called Customer service to inform them they had the wrong email information and possibly the wrong name they still didn't make it right. So whoever actually rented the trailer isn't getting any of the proper documents.COLTON K.

When I arrived, owner of this location was gone to look at an rv. The person watching the place, said sorry you have to do self check in because I have no clue what to do, I had no clue how to do that. Then, online, live people, and customer service could not help me , I was transferred to do many people caused me to sit and wait for 3 hours before the owner actually showed up and finally helped me, then to top it off the cost was Way too much, especially with all the hassle I went through!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN! Oh and the truck was barley running and 50 miles till complete E, I put gas in it 2xs !!!!!!!!REBECCA L.
I just bought my first home and I reserved a uhaul pick for 10am I had appointment that ran too long and then turned into another appointment,so I missed my 10am time slot. They were so understanding and allowed me to push my pick up time back because I had to be at my house for things to be turned on. Thank you A1 guys great job!Lee W.

I was Charge too much for the gas, only drove for less than 9miles and was charge $6:50OLAYINKA O.
Equipment was well maintained and the cargo area was spotless, but the floorboard hadn't been vacuumed and there were food crumbs and crushed chips in the floor and some type of drink splashed on the interior passenger side door. Outside truck was muddy and windshield dirty. It wasn't a big deal, but I didn't want to be responsible for someone else's mess.Kenneth H.

The signal light didn't work and no replacement bulb was available. The brakes on the trailer only worked part time the trailer pushed heavily. I have used U-Haul many time this was a very unsatisfactory rental.experience.Ed K.

Cargo area and cab of truck had dried mud. Cargo area was dirty, swept out debris before loading.Samuel D.
We were not told by the original location that we needed to return the truck full of gas. When we dropped it off the man checked everything and told us everything was good. About 30 minutes after leaving we got notification that another $49 was taken from our account. I called and he said it was the cost of fuel to fill it up. I explained I wasn't told I had to refill it and he said it was on the paperwork. My problem is that when we dropped it off he could have told us we would be charged extra for him to fuel it because I would've just taken it to fill it up and brought it back. Instead he said nothing and made us think we were clear to leave with no additional charges and filled it after we left without giving us the chance to fill it ourselves. Not happy at all!!!Simeon H.

When i picked up the truck there was a little stuggle with the website and it took 45 min. Then when i started driving the truck on the highway the left front tire was very shaky if i went over 40mph. I was only going 6 miles so i drove 40. My reason for having the truck was I had just purchased a couch and it had been pouring down rain and I needed to pick it up so therefore I had no other choice got to drive I called the U-Haul 800 number and the lady asked me if I wanted to have roadside service can fix it and I said no I'll just drive 40 miles an hour I did have them notated on the account and I called Uhaul the next morning and they decided to give me a $10 gift card which I feel like it's not right I think I should have had at least my mileage taken off for not being able to go like I should have. Therefore i will not use uhaul again . I am moving cross country here in a dew months but i will not use you again .JAckie M.
