Everything about this experience was awful. It is unthinkable that a company like U-Haul would allow a franchise as awful this to continue operate. By far one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company.

Genice SimoneTwice now, I've been charged for the $8 tow safe fee when I know for a fact I didn't request it. I don't know why it keeps getting added on, but it seems to be a problem with the website. I've rented two different times in the past 2 months and this has happened. I even called about it the first time, and I was never refunded as promised.

Dennis McCannHorrible experience. Uhaul was dirty, smelled like cigarettes. I had to clean and lysol the whole cab. Trash under seat. When we opened lift to back of truck there were roaches and truck not seemed out from prior use. Absolutely disgusting. UHaul was terrible especially with Covid, this location definetly doesn't clean after truck is returned. I will NEVER rent from this location ever again.
Mary GrimaldiLocation in old gas station/liquor store business. Area did not appear to be the safest. Glad pick-up was during the daytime. Lot was dusty and not paved. I was asked to switch to this location even though I booked my equipment at closer location in a much better maintained facility in a safer area of town. I was told by the customer service rep who called that they did not have my equipment at the original location, but I saw the ordered equipment in their lot when I drove by on my way to alternate location. ????

I worked with jon in Florida and and lady name Catlin that were fantastic uhaul does not deserve them as employees. Never use Navy surplus supplys / divers den in st. Marys Georgia worst customer service EVER. Or A1A convenience store in yulee Florida will NEVER use again

James BlackWe originally had it reserved for pick up at 8:00 am. When we got there the location did not even open until 9:00 am. We came back at 9:00 and no one was even there to get us the keys. I called Uhaul and they tried to send me to a different location and charge me ANOTHER deposit because whoever was supposed to open the location never showed up (not my fault) but still Uhaul was wanting to charge me an additional deposit since they would have to send me to a different location. Someone finally showed up at 9:45 am. So our reservation was overall an hour and 45 minutes late!
SARAH KUHNGentleman was rude. He told me I had to move the trailer, expecting me to maneuver a crew cab pick up into a tiny space to make it more convenient for him. It is a difficult location, extremely busy large intersection.

Candace CarterStore is shared with a shady liquor store. Clerk was rude. A homeless man that hangs out by the trailers checked my lights for me. He was the best part of this experience.
Joe KimockThis rental location was bizarre. There were a couple of trucks and trailers located behind a seedy liquor store and checkout was long and arduous. Another renter told me he noticed the proprietor urinating outside the building. Even though I'd specified that I did NOT want insurance protection on my original application, I was charged an extra $30 for this item. I can only surmise this was added during checkout on the proprietor's smart phone which was impossible to read. I had no recourse, unfortunately. The trailer was extremely old and the receiving facility said they'd never seen one that age and in such poor condition before. Renters should think twice about using this place.
Richard HoytThe fuel was not marked right. It had less fuel in it than the guy showed me. I have a picture of what I took of the fuel before I used the truck other than driving it around the block to my old address where I took the picture. It's like only 2 to 3 miles away from the store. When I returned it we had to spend 40.03 to put the fuel where they wanted it but not actually where it was. Please help us.
Ollie HooverThe construction made things difficult and the agent only hooked up the safety chains on the trailer I rented. I had to lift the trailer myself to put it on the hitch. Never saw any type of trailer dolly.
Thomas FordThe exhaust system was very loud. No offer was made to have a different truck when there were more at the location. Fuel was not accurate and had to be adjusted.

Roy RussThe location was closing because the building was sold. Contractors were in the process of removing in-ground fuel tanks so parking, etc., was a little unusual. The staff was prepared and make the rental experience work out just fine. I'll have no reservations renting from this retailer again after their move to their new location.

The Uhaul representative was going to give me a rental credit and send me to another location since they were late opening. I was getting ready to leave when the finally showed up. I feel i should have still been given the rental credit for the hour of wasted time and the condition of the truck
Eric ShermanThe manager first said we couldn’t drop the trailer because they already had too many. Theee was also a mixup with the contract. After waiting for nearly an hour, and talking to several representatives on the phone, we were finally allowed to return the trailer. After driving 14 hours with it yesterday, then getting up to unload it, this was very much a poor experience. I expect an adjustment to my payment or I won’t be using U-Haul in the future. YORLIN OROPEZAWe had a reservation and even spoke to uhaul via phone to confirm. When we got there the location was closed. We were on the phone with uhaul trying to find a truck for 4 hours (most of which was on hold). We ended up having to drive to Florida to find one. We were told by uhaul that we didnt confirm our reservation (which is 100% false as i spoke via phone and have texts confirming). On top of all that, the cost was more than originally quoted despite the $50 "discount" we were told we would get due to the inconvenience. The entire experience was horrrific. From this point forward, if we need to rent a moving truck or trailer, we will be seeking out a different company.
JAMES MORRISI was told to leave the keys and they would check it. They didn't check in the uhaul until after the time was due so they charged me another day rental. Also said that I didn't put the uhaul back at the right fuel level. I have pictures of b4 and after. Worst experience ever.

So many problems with returning because the pickup location did not do their job correctly when it came to returning from the previous user and then obviously didn't know how to dispatch equipment made everything very difficult. This location seemed to help resolve the issue.
James ShawDon't even try to use the app at this location, it took 30-45 minutes of loading because the internet service is so bad.

I reserved my truck and the bill was only $43 when I made my reservation based on my input and mileage estimate, the miles were off but not to the degree I was charged. When I went in to pick up vehicle the guy just ignored my reservation and told me to take it up with Customer Service and I had yet to here back from anyone. From $43 to $95 WOW a big rip-off.
