Customer service at the storage facility was good and friendly. The uhaul customer service was not and definitely not helpful/ I had my reservations changed twice and not in my favor. I my reservation was changed by U-Haul from a convent location to a location that was out of my way, and I still had to pay mileage. Now, the truck that was given to me is another issue. The passenger side of the windshield was broken, the check engine light was on, and the gas cap light was also on. I said something to the storage until before I left and was told they knew the windshield was broke and the engine light was on, still let the truck leave the parking lot. I would have refused to take it, but I had to move my daughter out of her apartment. The truck ran terrible and had no power, one can assume it was the gas cap, but i who knows. Anyway, I will not rent from uhaul again. this was another bad experience.

Theresa MTruck had broken window and lots of unmarked damage (I pay for the extra insurance, its worth it in case I am ever blamed for damage I did not create which thankfully did not happen to me). Most concerning, I reserved a 10 foot box truck. Apparently someone did not return a truck and I got stuck with an unwanted 20 foot truck. A nearby location had a 10 foot truck but was closed on the day I was renting (Uhaul associates were aware of this dilemma the day before). NOTE: When my father-in-law ran a uhaul location in Seattle, we used to jockey trucks around per customer need from far away places ALL THE TIME. I am not sure when or how uhaul has lost its customer service. If uhaul can not fill a reservation, please don't take it in the first place. Simply become a first come first serve business. Please take time to watch this clip: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4T2GmGSNvaM in the end, I would still recommend using uhaul as there are few other companies that can fill the need of small moving trucks, on a mass scale to mostly untrained drivers, who only need a truck once in a while; so thank you for that.

Melissa GMy reservation was originally in Monroe and then days before the pick up it was moved to Snohomish for no reason. Then when I dropped the truck off after only driving 15 miles for it, I had stopped at a gas station and refilled it back to the level that it was given to me. I took a picture of the gaskets just before I got out and it showed the same level as it was give it to me. Yet, I was charge for 3 gallons of gas. I called this place on the phone and the lady was argue with me and said that it was not at the same level.

Joseph BI reserved the U-Haul in Monroe. I wasn’t told I needed to go to Snohomish. I received a text notification over an hour after my pick up time of the new location. We were told it would have 5/8 a tank of gas and got in and it was at under half a tank. The lady that helped us was really nice and the truck was great. I just wish there was communication about the location change and accurate gas levels.

I have had to rent a truck a few times in the last couple of months, it's because of Dawn's positive make it happen attitude that will not only have me be a loyal return customer she's someone I will refer others who need to rent a vehicle! She's more than a great asset to your company but also to your clientele!

Louisa MI found the online check in procedure to be overly complicated having to stop. Take pictures of the odometer pictures of the fuel take pictures of the compartment take pictures of the cargo area. That's part of what the person who is running the U-haul site is paid to do. I shouldn't have to do their work for them.
Cliff LCommunication about where to pick up the truck was poor, the folks where I set up the reservation (Monroe, WA), were helpful and pleasant, but they did NOT tell me I would be picking up the truck at a totally different location.
Gina WNo complications. I was in and out in no time at all. It probably does help to do the paperwork online to get it scheduled a couple days in advance.

KAREN MMy experience with this location manager, Dawn Woodbury, was amazing. I have never meet a more kind or helpful Manager. She saw I was extremely stressed and needed some old fashioned human kindness and she gave me that in abundance. Talk about going over and above her normal duties. Ms. Woodbury even returned the 26' foot truck I had rented from another location when she saw I was too distressed to drive it and then quietly and professionally rented me a 15' truck, which was all I needed to continue my moving needs. There are a few people who will always stand out in your memory as genuinely kind. Ms. Woodbury will alway be one of mine. U-Haul is so lucky to have her. Absolutely outstanding performance and I have been telling people about her kindness to me and I will continue to do so. She deserves a pay raise and I will attend any awards ceremony where she is recognized for the exceptionally warm and knowledgeable human being she is. Cathy Morris
Richard MMy complaint isn't with the location, it's with uhaul.i am being charged nearly 800 dollars when I drove less than 50 miles. I called the location this morning when I saw the error on the receipt. She recognized that she had put the mileage in wrong, and said she would fix it. She said she would have someone from uhaul call me. No one called. This ridiculous charge is still on my credit card, and I called uhaul to get it fixed. You are going to take 3 business days to fix this? Unacceptable. Fix it NOW.

Jacqueline RI made a reservation online and happened to be about 45 minutes late, which, I did not know would be a problem considering I paid and reserved the truck. I showed up and the lady automatically told me there were no trucks available without even looking up my reservation. She was nice about it but what she was telling me didn't make any sense and after questioning the procedure and whatnot, she still didn't look anything up for me. She sent me away with a phone number to call Uhaul to find an available truck in the area. When I called, I was put on hold and told to go back and that they did in fact have a truck for me. When I went back, she claimed that my reservation was in "yellow" because I was late and she said she thinks "they're just trying to cover their ass."
Allison PWhat a horrible experience. We booked a 26ft trucks over three weeks before we needed it to insure we had the right truck. The week before picking up the truck, they said it would not be available at our location and gave recommendations hours away. We had to decrease the size of the truck to a 20ft one hour away from our location. Many phone calls and hours of holds, poor customer service. The drop off location was very easy. I would not recommend u haul if you need a specific sized truck with a real move out date. We have to rent another truck for another time since we didn’t get the size we reserved.

Kathleen MCustomer service Rep didn't seem to know what they were doing. They also misquoted us on the rates. Upon returning the U-haul the following day we were helped by the same Rep. They were somewhat rude and not very friendly. No need to be rude.
