My truck was missing the furniture pads I had ordered, and had a standard dolly instead of the appliance dolly I had requested. The truck was clean and functional, pickup/drop off was straightforward, no further complaints beyond the equipment inaccuracy.

People were generally friendly. Im going thru transitions thats physically and emotionally taking a part on me. Ok. I was clear on $$ for uhaul, and I wasnt fond of the cost per milage. It is outrageous. I order for one day. Had personal interruptions. And my rental was 3 total days. I followed the after hours drop off. Issues locked the truck before I read the instructions , but didnt matter no matter what I did. I didnt close my account. Becaueenit was going to an old 2018 account in Pennsylvania and just today oct30, 2020 i was able to finally get to this point. So my bank showed. An amount of 160,plus. Then WOW WTH, 476.PLUS. REALLY BOVER 600, FOR 3 DAYS And the milage. I drove locally at my destination to load and back to unload and few miles locally , I am living in a motel. Now in my truck after Saturday 31rst of Oct. Because it took my weekly rent. For my room. Expected a little higher charge. But almost 700.00 , and I rent a small 10 x 12 storage for 65.00. Way too high. Moving stuff out after December 1rst. I've had other storage. With a better door , this one I cant hardly open the latch or close it. The door is not easy to lift or pull down. Not having a good experience with that. I've cleaned my truck. Left the half tank gas. At the middle of third day I dropped off truck. Weds morning to friday early night. And let truck sit the middle day how on earth I got that thigh of milage. Kills me , never AGAIN. AND I CALLED BEFORE MY PHONE BROKE TO express this. Didnt reach anyone. Unless your ready to spend a mini fortune, for a couple days. I'd not use any of it. And I've anywhere I've had to use storage. Never paid over $40 to $45 for the 10 x 12 $50 for 12x12 not 65$for a 10 x 12. Broken bent stuck handle and a door I cant manage. Too hard to pull down and a gell of a time getting it up to stay put. I am on the older darker lot. Not so easy to use , I went there because I thought it look clean. Well kept. And safer looking. Nope I felt judged , I needed to speak up. Then. But I will not go here , anymore. It's not good the outrageous milage and storage costs. I should have gotten a notification, call or something to confirm the amount due. I wasnt planning on the plus and change, charge. Now homeless forover a week. One bad experience after another from this to other things not fair.

The van I had was clean and well maintained. First rental company that I have had experience with that you have to fill gas tank to level you left with. Would prefer to leave with a full tank and return it full. They did provide a guide to show how many gallons to put in tank to get level for return.

The staff is always helpful and even when they’re busy, they acknowledge all customers to ensure they will help once available. The guy (I’m not good with remembering names) he always help hookup The trailer to my truck and always ensures the lights are working. He goes that extra mile to make sure I have proper connectivity. My lights hookup had some corrosion in it which caused the running lights to not work, initially. But from the help of him, before I pulled off the lot my running lights were working and we did the blinkers check, he took the photo to submit for proper hookup and I was on my way to a fun day at the off-road park. Anytime I rent from Uhaul in MTV, IL, it will always be from ABC storage on 10th St.

Provide clearer steps in the brochure regarding after-hour returns. You should really add a step that states retain the truck keys before accessing the website. It's awfully difficult to photograph the dashboard of a locked truck once the key has already been placed in the drop box...
