No agent was on duty, so I had to call to get a key out of a lock box. The truck was not full of gas and I sent a picture to UHAUL with NO RESPONSE. They have OVER-BILLED ME. Cindy was very helpful, but did not fix the problem and could have if she was at the location.Thomas S.
1. Nobody was there to inspect the vehicle when I picked it up. I had to call somebody to help me figure out how to use a lot box and get the key. The phone call is very unprofessional. This was just me picking the vehicle up itself. I reserved the vehicle the previous night and still had to wait in the parking lot for almost 30 minutes to actually get the vehicle. Thee on line experience with UHaul was a nightmare. I would not wish this experience on anyone. The truck could not be picked up where I selected on line. The 24/7 website would not allow me to pick up the truck. Two different on line support people could not solve the problem. Was transferred to a different service agent with an estimated wait time of 60 minutes. If you rent from UHaul you need to avoid the online experience and arrange your rental in person, and arrange the truck pick up in person and just deal with their limited hours.Raymond M.

There was a little glitch when the trailerr I reserved was not availble at another location. I received a call from the owner at this location within 30 minutes. It was on a Saturday when they are normally closed but he came in and I was able to pick a trailer up without a problem.Richard T.

Bubba was very knowledgeable about the equipment and processes. He was super friendly. Not in any way to ever make a boyfriend jealous either. The kinda guy you would be glad to happen upon you if you needed help. Good 'Ol Country Boy. Location clean and well maintained. Will be my #1 call for my U-Haul rentals from here on out. Didnt work with Cindi this time. Have seen her around in Powhatan. I am positive she would have given me the same pleasant experience.Jennifer D.

My overall experience with u-haul wasn't as expected. I picked aware my up location would be at another site, however, I never expect it to be 20nmiles away to pick up the truck and additional 20 miles from that point to pick up the tow. When I was picking up the tow at the suggested location the gentleman stated he was leaving and would not wait 10 more minutes for me to get there. Mind you it was still midday. I immediately called service to find a new location. This location was better and extremely helpful. The last compliant was returning the equipment. I returned the equipment if not better than I received it and a day earlier than scheduled. I called service to change the drop location to one closer, that location was closed. I received an email stating an additional charge for an extra day. How could this be! The representative did not want to remove the charges. After being on hold twice for 2-3 hours each i was able to speak to a manager to have the charges removed. This experience was completely unnecessary and could've been avoided!April M.

Moved from va to Orlando, I would never use u haul again. Had to use them twice during the move and both time was a nightmare, no one knew what was going on. There info didn't match what I had reserved, go to pick up showing I could get it at 8 and no one showed up till 9:30. 1. Fix your software systems as the check in didn't work correctly, but the people at Always Hooking Towing quickly resolved it. 2. Let the customer select a return date and time. This would benefit your company by improving operational usage and the customer when a truck is needed for say, 27 hours like in my case, but the selection only allowed for 1-24 hours then jumps to 2 days. Another course would be to allow selections from 1-72hrs.Ronald F.

Picked up vehicle at 11:00 am from Chester Furniture Barn and returned to AAlways Hooking & Towing by 3:30 pm the same day. Location was sent to me in a text by UHaul. Place was closed. Charged me a $20.00 after hour fee which I am upset about. I believe that is not right. I want a reimbursement for that charge.Leon M.

Be quicker about the paperwork mention the extra charges. Explain each charge. Ask me if I want insurance. Post the prices. I paid way more than I expected to for a two hour rental. I am very disappointed in what I paid and I hope I never need another truck. If I do it won't be theremeta L.

The truck drove terribly. It needs to be serviced before anyone else uses it. Terrible experience. They also failed to provide furniture pads and were closed even though I picked it up at 3:00 on a Friday afternoon so there was no way to get any. They still charged me for them. We were able to make due with sheets and blankets but were extremely worried about damaging antique furniture.Elizabeth G.

Excellent customer service by Amy and her husband. I needed a trailer light adapter so Amy's husband took me to the NAPA nearby so I could take the trailer. He also hooked it up for me. Amy was so nice as well. The pick up location is colocated with a couple of other automotive businesses.Patrick D.
This location was great and pickup was fine. However, this was not the original location scheduled. Pickup was supposed to be at orange Market 9500 Newbys Bridge Road, Chesterfield, VA. My experience at that location was very poor. I arrived at the schedule pickup time 7:30pm. The place was closed even though they were supposed to be open. Went through the online verification process that took 45 min. The person I was chatting with stopped communicating with me. Then someone else picked up where he left off but this is after being at the location for more than 45 min. Then when he said I was all set and prompted to go to the next screen I repeatedly received an error message. Then he dropped out of the chat and I still didn't have the code to retrieve the key for the truck. Proceeded to call the 800 number. Was waiting on hold for 20+ minutes and then forwarded to a voice message system. This happened 2 times. By this time I had been at the location for at least an hour and 30 min. I proceeded to call again and stay on hold for the entire drive home. As I got home someone actually answered and told me she could not give me the code because I was no longer at the location. When I was upset because I have been waiting so long with no answer and just wanted to have the code before I left to drive there again she hung up on me. I called back and talked to a very nice man who then told me that location does not even keep the keys in the lock box and if they should have been open when I went there. He helped me find a new truck at this location. This meant that I had to drive 25 min to get the truck and I would not have the furniture pads I had reserved. I picked up the truck close to 11 pm. This was 3 hours and 30 min after my scheduled pickup time. I wasted a lot of time on the phone and driving to get this truck. This is not acceptable. I was very disappointed in this service.Megan S.
No problems at all, and was nice to have a location close, but it is a little hole in the wall building. No complaints,the gentleman whom accepted the rental back was friendly and if needing a rental it might serve your purpose, but not inviting or somewhere that you would drive by and choose to go to.GARYGIBSON B.
