The store had to wait on store business customers since theirs 1 employee . I dragged out the trailer myself including all hook up required. Isn't this a liability to your renters. He came back out afterhe took care of convenience store customers, I did everything myself and came out later and said is everything ok. I didn't book this location and have no interest in returning. There were steel bars covering the doors and windows and very sketchy people around which made me uncomfortable. I actually strained my back struggling to move the trailer in a nasty storage area were I felt I needed a shot after I got done. . Not acceptable

Have truck available where it was reserved, not where it is convenient for U Haul. U Haul should drive it to the location prior to pick up. Loose A & M MiniMart as a pick up location. It’s located in a dangerous neighborhood. Fall down drunk patriots at 8am, Gang bangers in the back of the store stealing beer. My wife and I were terrified waiting to get the keys to the truck. Don’t EVER request any customers to go to that location for a pick up.

bad section of town. man had heavy accent. hard to understand kept moving over to other cash register to take care of paying customer buying drinks. we were trying to move and i too was paying my guys i hired per hr to move me north of tampa from sarasota fl.

The owner of the store ripped me off by saying I didn’t bring the truck back with the same amount of gas when I told him I did I said let’s go out to the truck and look at the gauge and he went and sat in the truck and Didn’t let me show him and he showed me on his mobile phone and clicked on the 3/8 and it was a hair line below half. Never going to that location again and I’m sure he doesn’t this to everyone very rudeness to me and my father very disrespectful

Not in the best neighborhood. Did not feel particularly safe and it took forever to get the truck turned in. Was not the location I chose to return and it also resulted in being over the allotted mileage. Passed the location I chose on the way to this location which was much closer.

This authorized agent at 1159 Central Avenue is a human time bomb very angry nasty and unprofessional screaming on the top of his lungs without even offering any type of solution. I will never ever visit that location again to be treated so unhuman.

Change location, very unsafe. Originally scheduled pick up in other location but customer service called that the truck is not available and if I still wanted I need to pick it up in other location. I will never pick up any u haul truck from that location.

something fishy is going on. I rented a truck for 39.99 was made to pay 200 in cash. Returned the truck clean gassed up on time and now I am receiving bills from other locations for almost 1000 for a week after the truck was returned saying they received it this morning in a place i've never been. i am reporting this as fraud.

horrible location. makes me feel unsafe. rude personnel, would not agree that fuel was at the acceptable level, and would not allow me to go put 1 more gallon in to the tank to get to the alleged level needed. resulted in $17 fee. I rent trucks 3-6 x per year for business. this is the first/last UHAUL rental ive done in 3 years. Now I remember why I dont rent from UHAUL. . PS. 800 service never got back to me when I called to complain.

They are a mini mart that has more drug paraphernalia than regular items, selling CBD and what appears to be Marijuana inside the store. Customers came in for rolling papers, beer and what appeared to be marijuana. Clerk didn't care about vehicle appearance as he said, "You bought insurance". Uhaul dump this dump!

So the only truck they had was the largest size, and they just said sorry that’s it, instead of offering me an incentive or discount to rent the larger vehicle. The rental vehicle receipt had it measuring half tank of fuel, and to return it at that. However, I entered the vehicle and I had an 8th less fuel, to which the attendant confirmed I could return at that level. The large size super hauler was covered in scratches and the check engine light intermittently turned on during the 70 mile trip. The cargo box of the truck was caked in dried sand and dirt, so I swept it out before putting my new couch in it. Not very happy might pay more for a more professional experience.

I was ripped off. The fuel gage was at three quarters but he insisted on 7/8. I had to go back twice to fill up. That was seven gallons of gas for 36 miles!!! Plus I had extra miles to fill up. The tire light was on the entire time.

Reserved truck at different location and was changed to this one which was much farther away and no where near as nice. Was an area of town that did not feel safe. The added distance caused me to have to pay for extra mileage which I would not have if not for the pick up location change.

Shady - one guy in a mini-mart with no help or expertise that could contribute to my rental. I had to ask a patron to help me get the trailer hitched to the truck because the vendor was by himself operating the mini- mart. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

The place doesn't look like much but the individual that handled our return was really on the ball. He was juggling a lot of customers (Mini Mart location) but handled my return quickly and had an email receipt to me before I left the property.

This is a very small location, with a small sign up front, not the usual “in your face signage “ drove past it , had no signs directing you where to drop/Park the truck, I picked the wrong side.of the building to pull in. It was convenient as a drop off point only.

The clerk was very good, but this pickup location is in a very sketchy area. I would not go there after dark.

He didn't really review anything with me, just handed me the keys and that was that. There was a Snapple bottle left in the car, no furnie pads or anything. In hindsight, I'm realizing now that we may have been overcharged; but it's tough for me to know since my wife was the one who booked. She just told me later that she didn't remember signing up for a specific mileage amount. It was frustrating to have the location shifted last minute, too. Not sure what happened?
