Stephanie from customer service at u-haul was helpful and great. However, the Able moving location tried to scam me out of 100$. Lucky I found the charge on my card and disputed it with the bank. The 100$ claimed to be from U-haul but when I called to confirm they told me that charge was not through them. Use another Uhaul dealer if you can.Joshua C.

The location and equipment inventory was good but the experience with the personnel was unpleasant. On the phone he answered through a speakerphone with a lot of echo, it was very difficult to understand what he said. He stopped answering questions while the call was still running without warning why or saying when he would resume the discussion (or he might have said it but it was impossible to understand amid the echoes. In person, he was not amicable. His safety check of the equipment was summary (did not check turn-signals and brake light until asked).Robert V.

Truck body floor had a huge hole in it that was covered by a piece of wood... My 20 year old son fell through the hole and needed to be bandaged up.. I have notified the U-HAUL location and the truck has been sent for repairs.. When I told the staff at UHAUL about this they asked me to call head office and did not help any further... I will not be using your services again. And I have been loyal customer for 30 years.Marcus B.

Horrible experience. There was supposed to be someone there when I picked up the truck but there wasn't. I had to call the number on the door and the guy directed me to a lock box and for a good 20 minutes kept telling me the wrong code to the box. I was so annoyed. He made us very late for where we had to be. There was also a ton of moving blankets in the back that took up a bunch of space. I will never rent a vehicle from that location again. Location was closed when I showed up and had to wait for the employee to show up which ended up causing extra work as our help was not able to stay and help load the truck. Truck cargo box was dirty and had to clean before our move. Not a good experience and would rent from a different provider next time.Bryan G.
My pick up location was changed to this location in last minute. This location was an hour drive from my place. Very unsatisfied with the reservation experience in total. I did my reservation two weeks in advanced and still didn't get what I booked and had to drive for extra hour to pick up the truck. U-haul it's not reliable at all.Mohammad S.

Was charged 220 dollars to use truck for 4 hours, retailer gave me keys disappeared for the day, when I did my circle check before leaving the doors were locked and I was given keys without door or back door lock keys took an hour to get ahold and was charged that hour in the meantime. Very poor condition of truck with 1/4 tank of gas when received the keysKevin C.
No one was there when I showed to pickup trailer. Showed up to scheduled appointment 20 minutes early and employees had left even though I called ahead to make sure someone was there. Then was told over the phone that my visa debit couldn't be charged over the phone but the next day my card was charged 745$ when the rental was only 200. Then after the trailer was returned I was charged the 200$ by aqua bay u haul dealer even though I was already charged 745. I still have not received my refund. I rented a 6x12 trailer. However the inside measurment of the length of the trailer is only about11 and a half feet. 12 feet measures to the end of the trailer beyound the door. I had an item 6'9" to move so this made things very difficult.Ernie D.

Equipment was excellent. There was no attendant present, but pickup was fine via phone and text messaging. The problem was on returning contact could not be made with the attendant as there was no answer and his mailbox was full. You charged me a $25 cleaning fee for some reason, the van was left in the exact shape we picked it up. You charged me another $47.40 for mileage when I was asked to provide an estimate for KM's I did so and that was part of the original ad, no extra charge for mileage. There was nothing on the website about the first 149 km's being free. This is nothing short of robbery. I expect repayment of $75.65 immediately.Ken T.

This location was hard to get a hold of through the phone. I tried to call the day before to confirm my reservation, the voicemail was full and no one called back. I did get a hold of Uhaul head office and they confirmed my reservation as it was scheduled online. We arrived to pick up the enclosed trailer at the time of our reservation (8am). When we arrived there was no trailer, and the location wasn't open. I had to call the phone number on the door, again no answer and voicemail was full. Around 8:15 the employee arrived to open the store, but the trailer was not returned until 8:40, and by the time everything was settled it pushed us an hour behind schedule. This was very unreliable and frustrating experience working with this location.Kaitlyn K.

The location and van were perfectly fine. The agent who signed out the vehicle was very nice & polite. Uhaul itself is my problem. I tried contacting them at the end of my rental for some clarification, through live chat and was kicked out 3 times. One time, the agent decided after 10 seconds I wasn't â€œactive enoughâ€ in the chat & that's why they kicked me out. I emailed Uhaul for follow up, and have still heard nothing back. They have now charged me more for gas that I shouldn't have to pay, bc they would not answer my inquiries. The trailer hitch was just laying on the ground on pick up, sitting up on a stump at least would have been better as these trailers are HEAVY to lift. There also was NO safety pin for the tongue of the trailer which the guy said we didn't need but we are used to using for anything we have every towed. Hard to find the business as it was actually in a building which said CAFE with just a sign in the window. Drove by twice before we found it. Otherwise the trailer itself was fine and in good shape.Cost is perfect!Jules D.

Although it took a longer than expected time to check in, because the Rogers Outrange. But the lady who helped us was extremely friendly & helpful. Due to this, we didn't mind the wait!! The truck was clean and loaded with the materials we requested (they didn't have all of the furniture pads we requested in stock, but gave us everything they did have, which worked out for us anyway). Overall, it was a good experience and I'd recommend the 62 Commerce Park location to friends & family.SIMON T.

The Dunlop location did not have my 15 foot truck. Said was not returned by previous renter. Had to go to south Barrie to pick up a truck at Barrie Rental luckily they had one. The back bay of the truck was covered in dirt and when I pulled out the ramp, it was filled with dirt/soil. Had to sweep out the bay and the ramp before I could move my mattress and things. Had problems with my cellphone uploading my license. Luckily had my work phone and it went through. Same with when I had to return the truck. What do you do for people that don't have cell phones? Even though there are multiple U-Haul throughout Barrie, I don't mind driving the extra kilometer to come to this location. The staff is always accommodating and more often than other locations. I am always able to get what I need. Highly recommended.CHERYL S.
