Gord SI chose the 10 AM pick up at counter option, but when I arrived there was no one at this location. I had to phone the number on the door and go thru an electronic pick up with my phone. It was pouring rain and I got drenched just picking up the key from the lockbox in the middle of the parking lot. The van was in great condition and worked well for what we needed. I'm not sure why noone was at this location, but if this is a regular occurrence I suggest that you move the lock boxes to a covered location so your customers don't have to fumble with a lock in inclement weather.

Vivian NI received confirmation of my 26’ truck the day before the reservation date. It was only at pickup and trying to do online p/u and having problems doing so did I realize that it was not available. I called in for help -there was a lot of confusion and ended up with a new reservation being made with problems at my end being able to access the reservation without my driver being present. This added to the horrible mix up at your end on where / which lockbox to get the key from. We were attempting to open the lock box for an hour and 40 minutes waiting for help from uhaul, mostly because my calls kept being cut off, requiring me to call back, wait on line and repeating my problems. Also we were outside in the snow, blowing wind and cold trying to open the lockbox. I had no choice but to accept the smaller 20’ truck which I knew would not be big enough. I was right and I had to pay someone to bring the rest of my property. The additional mileage and $50 was not close to being sufficient to cover costs that I would not have incurred if I had got the 26’ truck you confirmed the day before. I am looking for restitution of my additional costs. I will be considering my options while I await your response. I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH MY EXPERIENCE THIS TIME. The lack of concern and care from your employees at my predicament is SHOCKING AND DISAPPOINTING given you had created it. I have used you in the past and given very positive referrals to family and friends…this I am reconsidering and will be sharing this on social media Looking forward to your actions to rectify this and restore my TRUST in uhaul. Thank you

ANDRZE SOur pick up date was January 1st (New Years Day) and I was nervous that no one would be on-site resulting in not getting uor trailer that we needed. I called the pick up location multiple times ahead of the day and left messages for someone to confirm and there was no response. On the day of pick up there was no one there, I called a phone number and was instructed to take it and text a photo of the hook up. I checked in on the app. The next day Uhaul indicated my reservation was cancelled (even though I had the trailer), It was 2 days of phone calls to sort it out. Not an enjoyable experience.
RICHARD JI rented an 5x8 trailer… Was asked to pick it up via Uhaul app.. because location was closed on wednesday at 2pm Returned it friday at 8am Was charged $289.xx On Jan 2nd… Im cool with everything if i am refunded
matt gThis location is not staffed. No one to help. We were texted by the dealer that the dolly and blankets we reserved were not available even though we could see the items inside the store. The store was locked even though within “open” hours. Worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul. U-Haul should seriously consider revoking this location from its options. If I could give a rating of zero stars I would have.

Mark MTwo back tires deflated after one trip. The person at the counter didn't do a walkthrough of the truck to see if there was any damages. The engine light appeared later during the day and the truck stopped twice while stopped. Overall, bad experience that could have been prevented if we were given a better truck from the start.
JASMINE BNobody in the building every time I’ve visited this location. I’ve shown up for trailers and nobody’s been here. Cancelled and gone to Essa Road location. Van rental went well due to the fact that it was self serve pickup. Voicemail is always full. Overall bad experience here except for my recent one because I checked myself in. Should turn this location into a fully self serve instead of relying on the business. Van however was dirty when I picked it up, and was parked on an angle not in the lines. All vans were parked horrendously. There’s also an unplated U-Haul van here with smashed out windows and beat up. This location obviously doesn’t care about their customer satisfaction. Use the U-Haul on Essa Road (Whimsical Emporium) or Cash Express on Dunlop for a better experience.

RANDY MStephanie from customer service at u-haul was helpful and great. However, the Able moving location tried to scam me out of 100$. Lucky I found the charge on my card and disputed it with the bank. The 100$ claimed to be from U-haul but when I called to confirm they told me that charge was not through them. Use another Uhaul dealer if you can.

ROBERT SThe location and equipment inventory was good but the experience with the personnel was unpleasant. On the phone he answered through a speakerphone with a lot of echo, it was very difficult to understand what he said. He stopped answering questions while the call was still running without warning why or saying when he would resume the discussion (or he might have said it but it was impossible to understand amid the echoes. In person, he was not amicable. His safety check of the equipment was summary (did not check turn-signals and brake light until asked).

Adam ZTruck body floor had a huge hole in it that was covered by a piece of wood... My 20 year old son fell through the hole and needed to be bandaged up.. I have notified the U-HAUL location and the truck has been sent for repairs.. When I told the staff at UHAUL about this they asked me to call head office and did not help any further... I will not be using your services again. And I have been loyal customer for 30 years.

DANIEL ZHorrible experience. There was supposed to be someone there when I picked up the truck but there wasn’t. I had to call the number on the door and the guy directed me to a lock box and for a good 20 minutes kept telling me the wrong code to the box. I was so annoyed. He made us very late for where we had to be. There was also a ton of moving blankets in the back that took up a bunch of space. I will never rent a vehicle from that location again. Absolutely terrible experience.

Truck cargo box was dirty and had to clean before our move. Not a good experience and would rent from a different provider next time.
Bryan GMy pick up location was changed to this location in last minute. This location was an hour drive from my place. Very unsatisfied with the reservation experience in total. I did my reservation two weeks in advanced and still didn’t get what I booked and had to drive for extra hour to pick up the truck. U-haul it’s not reliable at all.

RICK BWas charged 220 dollars to use truck for 4 hours, retailer gave me keys disappeared for the day, when I did my circle check before leaving the doors were locked and I was given keys without door or back door lock keys took an hour to get ahold and was charged that hour in the meantime. Very poor condition of truck with 1/4 tank of gas when received the keys
Kevin CNo one was there when I showed to pickup trailer. Showed up to scheduled appointment 20 minutes early and employees had left even though I called ahead to make sure someone was there. Then was told over the phone that my visa debit couldn't be charged over the phone but the next day my card was charged 745$ when the rental was only 200. Then after the trailer was returned I was charged the 200$ by aqua bay u haul dealer even though I was already charged 745. I still have not received my refund. Great service stealing money from a customer at Christmas time.
brady mI rented a 6x12 trailer. However the inside measurment of the length of the trailer is only about11 and a half feet. 12 feet measures to the end of the trailer beyound the door. I had an item 6'9" to move so this made things very difficult.
Ernie DDesk service and information was unprofessional, truck condition was poor (smelly and flat tire warning light on). Only received a detail invoice after calling u-haul and request one. Have some extra charges that were no explain at the beginning.
GUSTOVE CEquipment was excellent. There was no attendant present, but pickup was fine via phone and text messaging. The problem was on returning contact could not be made with the attendant as there was no answer and his mailbox was full. Customer support however was excellent and handled my extra day cancellation and refund perfectly.
Ronald RYou charged me a $25 cleaning fee for some reason, the van was left in the exact shape we picked it up. You charged me another $47.40 for mileage when I was asked to provide an estimate for KM's I did so and that was part of the original ad, no extra charge for mileage. There was nothing on the website about the first 149 km's being free. This is nothing short of robbery. I expect repayment of $75.65 immediately.
