Truck smelled terribly of smoke. Trash still in the console. Truck sounded bad and engine light was on but worked fine and I didn't have any issues. Backing the truck in is always helpful and would suggest making sure that's done. Customer service at Ace was perfect.Sydney W.

Made a reservation at one location and was communicated 2 and a half hours prior to pick up that location was changed. Stated online 50 dollars if not there. I have not seen that yet from your company. It took the lady in front of me 44 minutes to get her truck as the place only has one p.o.s. that could check people out. I will be getting another truck on Christmas eve, I hope that one goes better. And my check out was about 10 minutes. Let's get this process quicker. I have rented uhaul many time in my life and it's still as poor as my first time.Blake L.

I called ahead of time to see if they had a truck they replied yes. When I got there it was a different story. They did I had to bring it back before 11. I had the truck maybe about 4 hours. I thought when you rent a truck it's for 24 hoursðŸ˜ª. I felt ripped off but I was desperate.MARGARET L.

The people were very nice but most of the people that work there DID NOT have mask on. I was told a full size refrigerator would fit standing up and it didn't so it had to be layed down which is not good for them at all. The a.c. also didn't work hardly at all in the truck.Rebecca S.

I had a lot of difficulty signing in and getting the rideshare thing to work because a third-party need to be contacted which is ridiculous. Then when I went inside to the store the gentleman behind the store which was a young man was as high as a kite on marijuana. So not a great experienceJAMESJOSEPH C.

I was charged over $600 for a van during the pandemic shut down but ACE was the only location with a van available so it was the only option I had. They did nothing to try and accommondate the rate even after explaining that I was out of work. ACE should be ashamed of their price gouging.Felicia D.

The contact free method was not actually free of contact. I actually had to enter the store. Not the best thing in this COVID 19 era. I wish they would verify identity and phone numbers prior to arriving at pickup. I was late for an appointment elsewhere.Samantha W.
After thoroughly checking out on my phone (returning), I go put the key in the drop box and was â€œgreetedâ€ by a worker of the store who said â€œyou don't have to do thatâ€ and proceeds to unlock the box to retrieve the key and no say a word. Goes inside and asks for paperwork. Goes to the truck to do everything I just did and never said another word except â€œthe back of the truck needs to be sweptâ€ from stuff that wasn't ours. I didn't even think to open the truck upon inspection (U-Haul, you may want to prompt people on the app). I don't understand the point of no-contact check in for the trucks.Toriqul A.
