very unorganized. NO one would acknowledge me. very confusing. NO one even at uhaul desk. took me 45 minutes to get to talk to someone. did not hook up trailer or even check to see if lights were working. I have rented many trilers from u haul and this by far was the worst experience that I had. By Far!!!!! they didn't even have the trailer that I was assigned. had to come back in and switch trailers because they couldn't find the right one. then the invoice had a extra item on it that they didn't have. not even sure how it was on the ticket. extremely poor customer service. horrible hoorible hoorible!!!!!!!!!

1. I had to basically start the process of renting the trailer all over again even though I had gone on line and reserved the trailer in advance. They said they didn’t have any of my information in their system. 2. The individual didn’t even know how to load the trailer and did not know all the safety features.

I used the "Return truck app". Wonderful! I pulled the truck into the lot and the attendant came out to see me within minutes. When I finished with the app I turned the key into the attendant. He said he had just emailed me my receipt and thanked me for using the app. He was very professional, personable, and had a big smile.

There is not a dedicated U Haul Representative in this location. The yard where the U Hauls are kept is very limited in space and if you pull into where the front door is located, you have back out onto a Airport Access road in order to get into where the U Hauls are kept.

This location failed to check in our equipment and during check in It took over an hour. Employee didn’t have great knowledge in how to check out equipment and we utilized the reservation and express check in. Very poor experience here at this location, we would recommend to train these employees so they are a good face for U-Haul.

Reserved truck in advanced. When I got there had to wait over an hour to get it.There were used truck parts and tools in the vehicle cab. There was butts in the ashtray. After returning it, again had to wait an hour.

First location the guy never showed up so we had to go to a second location. That’s fine and all. We rented the truck for 20 minutes because I just needed to get it weighed empty because it was a military move and I needed it for my commander. I returned the keys, was assured there was nothing else I needed to do. It was supposed to be $50. 4 days later, I’ve got a $135 charge on my credit card because someone didn’t put the U-Haul in the system as returned until 4 days later. I was supposed to be reimbursed but it’s been 2 weeks and I’ve still got the charge on my account. Absolutely terrible. I will recommend any and all other locations to anyone that will be moving bases or going overseas like me.

I made a reservation early on the day. On arrival to pick up the trailer, I was repeatedly told by the agent I couldn’t rent the car trailer. My truck rated to pull 10 thousand pounds and my need to pull was less than 5k#, The web site accepted my combination at time of reservation, and five yes five customer service calls all verified that my combination was allowed. However, the rental agent was unable to figure out how to execute the rental agreement for me to check out. The manager at the location was aware of the dilemma but left for the day in the middle of my troubles. A area manager for U-Haul was called and he informed me that my vehicle to haul was “to wide” to be hauled. I again couldn’t figure out how the trailer was wider than my Silverado diesel truck and yet incapable of carrying my sons car. Coincidentally my son broke down on his way back to college and this was my second trip because I couldn’t fix it on the initial break down issue. My reservation was initially for 5:00 pm EST. In the wind up after over THREE HOURS patiently waiting, calling customer service over and over including having them speak to the agent, we couldn’t produce a rental agreement. Even after putting in a different car I own a Saturn Vue, he couldn’t execute a rental agreement. After more than THREE HOURS the area manager that told me my sons car was to wide charged my card the fee and I hooked to the AT 4539 Y trailer and left to go get my sons car. This delay ended up causing me to drive all night long and arrive back in Jacksonville at 7:00 exhausted. I off loaded the car that incidentally went on the trailer and had it returned the trailer back to the original pick up spot. I never had a contract in hand, I wasted 3 hours trying to rent a trailer, and returned it only 13 hours after I picked it up and was charged for 24 hours rental.when I returned the trailer there were several people in line as it’s a rental car place , there was a young lady sitting at the u haul counter and I could have been paint on the wall as she made no attempt to engage me. After 3-5 minutes waiting knowing what I waited the night before I advised her that I returned the trailer gave the number and she tried to inform me I will be with you in a minute. I said no mam I waited three hours to rent a trailer and I have no contract I just want you to acknowledge I have returned it. I left and have no idea what happens after this. I will say that each customer service person I spoke with was very courteous and tried to help me find resolve. The rental agent Quinten was kind as well. Having said that there is obviously an issue in the system where the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing or is capable of. This is my feed back I wouldn’t try to rent from U-Haul after this dilemma nor would I recommend d someone to U-Haul at any reason rate or necessity. This overall problem is bull shit and should have been resolved by someone long before 3 hours. I doubt you read this

Very long wait just to drop off the equipment. Very busy and only had 2 people working. The two were very nice and very helpful once they got to me, but they needed more help!
