ROSA PThey had a small handwritten sign saying that customers would be charged 45 dollars for after hours drop offs. I had completed my online after hours drop off BEFORE I saw the sign AND there was no place to leave the keys. UHaul customer service couldn't change the drop off location because the check list was completed and as far as they were concerned the truck was returned. I left the truck locked up at the return location at the suggestion of Customer Service but I had to drive to the drop off location to return the keys the next day. The app should not let you start an after hours drop off if the location does not accept them. This is horribly poor customer service and added an hour of frustration at the end of a long day.
Wesley NThe location was only able to supply 31 furniture pads instead of the 36 reserved. They did however correct the cost on the computer. But, could have used the extra blankets. The only 26' truck they had for one way was an old truck with high mileage and a damaged bumper.

Michael DWe had reserved a truck in calimesa, CA for 8:30am but no one was there. We got help from a Uhaul phone rep that didn't result in getting a truck. The rep changed the pickup location. Almost 2hrs later we had a truck.

Michael DThis Locations terrible… come to drop off a UHAUL with a time a date to get treated rudely by this older lady and guy by the register just to be told they were already closed (Business doors open) looked at me as if I were a nuisance, told me they didn’t know anyone with a uhaul was coming in that day. Got visibility more upset as I did, prolonging the process of everything while I was about to leave they got more upset a other couple had pulled in with another Uhaul to drop off while I was leaving this experience that I had at Action True Value Hardware 10223 Beaumont Av Cherry Valley, CA 92223 Was so bad that I told myself I was going to call and complain Etc etc to UHAUL I never got to it, busy moving Going through old emails and receipts I came across my uhaul receipt and feedback as you can see I had the time today
Alexie PUhaul is like apple pie and baseball. American icons. In todays world I don’t expect perfection but I do expect honesty and responsibility. This particular pick up and drop off location was so refreshing. My first engagement was a young lady that was perfectly suited for her position. Kennedy was helpful, patient and professional. When I couldn’t meet my return date/time, I phoned this historic True Value location, and Pete was kind, understanding and more than accommodating to assist with my next day return. Communication is crucial as we all know. Action True Value Hardware makes renting a Uhaul truck, no matter your need, easy and a pleasant experience. In my opinion they’ve raised the bar when it comes to customer service. I will confidently recommend them to anyone who needs rental truck assistance in the future. Thank you Kennedy, Pete and Uhaul.

John RAbsolutely the best customer service. Friendly staff, down home people. Wish all my dealings were like this. Unfortunately, you always have to book thru U-Haul central, and I get it. It's availability control. Unfortunately when I have booked in the past, I've had to go8-15 miles out of my way to pick up a trailer or vehicle.

jordan cUhaul gave me this location to drop the truck off at. When I get there I spend some time looking for a key drop off. There is none but I find a small sign that says they do not accept Uhaul drop offs after hours. I wasted my time and gas doing this.
Rachel WWe got a 10 ft truck that was dirty and I had to clean the windshields at a gas station a few blocks away to have visibility. The hardware store was helpful when I came back and voiced concerns over no tie down straps or ramp. They allowed me to have a dolly with straps at no charge that helped us In arranging our truck to transport the furniture and appliance. Thanks
Olan RReservation process was very problematic. Every time I searched for U-Haul truck rental, it took me to Penske truck rental or some moving company, never to U-Haul truck rental. I spent more than an hour trying to get on the U-Haul web site to reserve a truck without success and finally gave up. I got calls from several moving companies trying to confirm my desire for movers. They were disappointed I was only looking to rent a U-Haul truck. Whoever built your website has made it easy for your competitors to hack your web site and steal your customers. The next day I was able to get on your website and reserve a truck without a problem using the same words. Don't know why it was different the second day. Clerks at True Value Hardware were great and professional.

Debra JAbsolutely would NOT recommend! I reserved a 15” from 2-7pm. That’s what I PAID. 1st my reservation was not available at 2pm, I was told there was a 10” available but I needed to return it by 4. Having no other option we went with the 10”. I then received a “thank you” from uhaul saying return my reservation At 7! They tried charging a $45 late fee AND to top it off we were stilll charged for 15”!!! Everyone failed to mention the “reservation guarantee”
