The agent was rude and unhelpful until a representative had to call her and request her to give me assistance because I was having issues checking in online. The Rep Erica had to call twice because the first time she took her time by answering when I said it was her because she was not done fixing her hair and when the Rep Erica called me back she was going to send me somewhere else I had to tell her she was right there so she called back and the agent sighed and rolled her eyes after being asked to assist me. I won’t ever go back but Erica was very professional in making sure I was taken care of.

I was driving the truck 400 + miles. There was a fairly new truck, same size on the lot. They put me in al old truck. It would have been fine to move across town. I didn't drive the truck, I lead it. Meaning there was so much play in the steering that the truck just veered left and then right. Sorry truck to put someone in driving any major distance.

My contract was originated at the Divsion location in Arlington, but I never got any information from that location. If it had not been for the good folks on Arkansas, I would have gone to Division, wasting time and gas. I will NEVER do business at the Division location again. Their idea of customer service is worse than pathetic for reasons that go beyond trailer rental. They were also supposed to install a hitch on my car...didn’t happen, and they offered no solution. I had to find another installer and paid a higher price. Very bad experience...don’t use the Division location in Arlington.

I rented a truck from Adams Feed Store at 3:33 pm on Saturday Wednesday Afternoon. I informed the representative at the counter that I would only need the truck for around 3 hours or so, which would not be a problem. I told her that I intended to return the truck by 6pm. After moving the 1 item I stopped by the gas station to put in additional fuel, and air up both front tires. They seemed to be low, when I did the inspection at the station. As I was pulling out of the gas station I realized that I was a little over the 6pm time frame I gave the front desk clerk. I pulled into Adams Feed Store at exactly 6:15pm (15 minutes over). I noticed that they had a front gate that was locked. I was unable to drop off the Uhaul. I also noticed that they did not have a drop box for the key. I also noticed that my SUV was parked inside the gate and I was not able to get it out. Because of this, I had to drive the Uhaul back to my house (which was additional mileage) and park it in my driveway overnight. In the morning I then drove the Uhaul to work and on my lunch hour 10:30 am drove it back to Adams Feed Store. When I arrived to check in the Uhaul the representative at the desk said that "technically" she should charge me 2 days rental because I did not return it at 6pm. Wait a minute, you mean to tell me that she was going to charge me double the price for 3 1/2 hours I had the Uhaul?? This is ridiculous! I attempted to return the truck the night before at 6:15. It sat in my driveway overnight. She "decided" that she would only charge me for 1 day. I bit my tongue and did not say a word. I was to angry. So long story short I rented a Uhaul for 3 1/2 hours and was charged $75.52. I traveled 30 miles total. I'm not upset about the price, which is fair. I'm upset at the poor customer service I received from the representative at the counter. I am in the customer service business, its what I do! I interact with all types of people day in day out. In fact I've been in this business all my life. In order to make a loyal customer you much show that you "want" the business. Sam Walton, of Wal-Mart has 3 basic beliefs (now 4) that I try to live by....1. Respect for the Individual, 2. Service to others, 3. Strive for Excellence, 4 Do all things with Integrity. Making an inappropriate comment to a customer is not how to respect the individual or gain loyalty. Sincerely Former Uhaul Customer at Adams Feed Store.

Renter advised that the low tire pressure light would be illuminated continuously and to ignore it. A pressure check showed all tires were underinflated by 3-8 psi. After inflating tires to 80 psi the light remained on. I was uncomfortable making a 375 mile trip with this warning light on. The faulty detector should have been fixed before renting the truck. Both door latches were badly out of adjustment. Closing the doors required them to be slammed very hard. Front end was out of alignment. When steering wheel pressure was relaxed the truck drifted to the right

When I picked up the trailer one of the tires was completely bald of tread. Very illegal low tread. They switched out the trailer but kept telling me uhaul thinks there was enough tread to be safe. It was ridiculous listening to him when I knew that trailer was not road worthy.

I would have liked tips and ideas on how to protect my car while pulling it on a trailer. When I returned the equipment somewhere else, I learned that I could have protected my bumper and frame by simply placing boards behind my front wheels and under the ramps :( I also would have liked moving supplies, which I needed to get at another U-Haul location.

U-Haul customer service is the worst. They changed my reservation and drop off location while I was en route and I was stuck with the truck. Then charged me extra days because I had no place to store my belongings which were still in the truck. I’m filing complaints to every agency applicable.

worst uhaul we've ever driven. too much pull from steering wheel, poor headlights while driving in the dark. truck needs maintenance...it was dangerous. other than that, it was fine. the location and easy check in and out was convenient

There was a problem with the tandom suspension. The trailer was unstable and difficult to drive 55 miles per hour. I drove it slow and careful because I could not see unloading and exchanging the trailer enroute on my 750 mile drive. It was loaded properly with the required 60/40 loading ratio.Upon returning the trailer in Florida , the tongue weight was unusually heavy with the trailer empty. The trailer was difficult to remove and should never have been rented in this condition.The Uhaul personal in Florida immediately saw the problem . The tandom suspension was shifted forward out of rigging. Apparently the Texas location did not look it over properly. I assumed it was normal sense they checked it over prior to me renting.Adams Feed never gave me a rental contract. They said they would email me one. They never emailed me a contract, so I went to a major Uhaul store and they gave me a hard copy in case I had an emergency on the road. The Florida Uhaul owner call the Florida regional manager. The Florida regional manager call Texas regional manager .The Texas regional was suppose to call me , but never contacted me. This was totally unsatisfactory from the Texas Uhaul people on renting and follow up on the problem. I have rented from Uhaul for more then 40 years and never experienced anything like this. This trailer should never have been rented to anyone. You are fortunate I did not have an accident . As far as I am concerned, you own me a total refund. I saved Uhaul a possible accident law suite.

Everything was really cool and I loved the process. The only thing that could use improvement is the gps location feature of the pickup location. I was parked right in front of the store and uhaul and the gps said I wasn’t at the location. It was a little frustrating because I did self service and obviously didn’t have anyone to ask. Eventually the gps picked up my location but I was parked two stores to the west of the actual location. Maybe the coordinates or something could be tweaked for that location. I figured it out but someone who has less problem solving skills might not figure it out quickly and could diminish the experience and potentially negatively affect the uhaul brand. Like I said, I loved the experience and it’s a really cool thing, but just wanted to provide that to help you guys continually improve.

My final pick up was very good however after 2hrs at the original pick up location with no help we ended up at Adams. To top it off I filled a complaint was was told the District Manager would contact me and that NEVER happened. I called the 800 number again on Friday to find out why I had no received a call from the DM she told me that it was noted on the complaint that he left me a message which is a flat out lie. I would like to speak with his manager. I would not recommend U-HAUL to my worest enemy after this experience. Matter of fact I am thinking about telling all my Facebook friends about this terrible experience unless I can get a phone call from someone who cares.

This location was horrible! The name is Adam's Feedstore and More. Their customer service is terrible. They are extremely rude! It make me question even renting from U-Haul again. Very unsatisfied!

The people here yelled at my husband because there was cardboard and loose papers in the back of the truck. My husband explained that it was like that when we picked up the truck. They called and our pickup location confirmed this. The woman at the drop location insinuated quite loudly that I wasn’t telling the truth during this phone call. When she found out I was telling the truth no apology was made to either my husband or myself for the accusation and the delay. All of this was after our pickup location had to be changed because no one showed up to open our original location. Our experience today was so far from satisfactory I don’t think I’d be willing to use U-haul again.

The owner was rude and grabbed the keys and said we parked it in the wrong spot. There is no signs or anything telling you were to park the uhaul. He brought back the keys to us but didn't get a mileage or gas reading so they had to figure out who was going back out there to get it. Just overall very unhappy with the whole place.

Again, nothing to do with the location. The self drop off website was down again because of uhaul and we ended up getting charged extra for having to drop off the truck late when the location finally opened. The whole ordeal was very inconvenient and I do not feel we should have paid extra for it being over 24 hours due to uhaul's website/app (because we tried both) and not us. I am very disappointed in uhaul's service. We paid over $100 and were an hour late to pick up and 4 hours late to drop off, which was extremely inconvenient for us.
