I had hoped for a truck (like a ford, hatch back) with a bucket seat in front to sit 3 people to have help moving but that was not the case. There was ONLY 1 ford in this town and it had been totaled so I was forced to get a larger truck. I thought the guy could have charged me a smaller price since they didn't have what I needed but he was very kind and offered to give me a ride to the other facility that had the 1 truck that he thought would be available.Sandra S.

The operator/owner was nice and easy to talk to and helpful. The box and the cab were clean but the truck looked like someone made a off road trip with it. I wish I would have taken a picture. As I was filling it up (which he called 1/2 tank and it was in fact under 1/2) I couldn't help but notice another location in the same town with U-Haul's and they were spotless. Wish I knew in advance. I told my local guy were I dropped it off about the condition. I couldn't give it to him like that, I wash it up myselfPeterson A.

I had a difficult time finding a place to properly park the moving truck. The location is poorly marked.Eric P.
I work for a Uhaul dealer n needed a trailer to move some things. It was Sunday n no Uhaul dealer is open. Our location n Alamosa is from time depending on customer need. The Internet was down so I called n asked permission from my boss. He told me to fill out paperwork n when the innerweb come back up, he would enter the info. On my journey I was pulled over for expired tag on, u guessed it, the Uhaul trailer I rented. So, the trailer was impounded because I had no computer generated contract. Tow company tried to contact a field manager or area rep for Uhaul to verify my story for the officer. It didn't work out so the trailer was towed. I received a 95 dollar ticket for the expired tag n the deputy sheriff let me pull the remainder of my things out before it was towed. Thank you deputy Singular. Turns out, the plate on the trailer wasn't for that trailer, (?) n it was tagged thru 2018. This is fine, people doin their job. Today, these reps that couldn't be reached yesterday, they all had workin phones because my Boss, Mike Adcock was hound dogged by them. For the record, the rental was above board. It was rented just not entered because of no innerweb. I work for Mr Adcock which by proxy, puts me as a Uhaul representitive and I guess n a round about way, employee of Uhaul.These factors n place, seen no harm n my, or Mr.Adcock actions. Sad thing is, I haven't received an apologie from Uhaul rep or management for the utter incovienience of being pulled over,being detained on the side of the road while these reps were trying to be reached, nothing about compensation for the hours.I didn't get to use the trailer because it was impounded for expired plate that was in no way my or Adcock Automotive,Storage, n authorized Uhaul dealer n repairs fault. 95 dollar ticket that was voided because every thing I told the deputy finally checked out a few hours later when one of the reps finally answered n confirmed Wut I had told the deputy on scene. Wut I did get was a sick feelin as I watched my boss field phone call after phone call from those that couldnt b reached last night, just to explain the same thing over n over. Don't get me wrong, Uhaul is very concincious of safety. Comes to equipment, there is NONE better. But when it comes to customers, which is Wut I was when I rented n paid for that trailer, not so much. My boss didn't deserve the drumming he got. I'm glad that it happened to me,n not a family moving to another state that would have been stuck n stranded until someone answered the phone. So, if u rent Uhaul, the best, check the license plate on Wut ur renting just to avoid any hang ups. Wut do I want, just an apology to my boss. He was helping a customer which is Wut we do.
