Was scheduled to pick up 26ft truck however after driving the truck down the highway a few miles it was un-drivable. The truck kept lurching forward causing the seat to pound so hard that my back hurt. Definitely not road worthy. I ended up renting a 20 foot truck as it was the only truck available for a one way rental. As a result I ended up having to pull a u box behind the truck for the extra space. 30 miles outside of Sante Fe the u box had a flat tire. Waited 3.5 hours for roadside assistance. Overall a horrible move. The staff at the location were friendly.JANICE T.

The staff was friendly when I checked in. The 10ft truck I rented was clean and got the move done. I had a problem with the app on the return (not the staff's fault) but on the next day the staff helped me with the return and everything was handled very professionally. Overall great experience. I did not have an issue with this location. What I did have issue with and what you could improve upon is the 24/7 return phone app and your corporate customer service. When I attempted to return the equipment after hours, using the app, it did not properly activate the camera on my phone. I, therefore, could not take a picture, proving that the equipment was returned clean. As a result, I could not document my return. I therefore called your customer service and was on hold for 1 hour and three minutes when the call was cut off (not sure if my phone dropped the call or someone at UHaul cut me off). At that point, I was extremely frustrated with your process and I could not document the return of the equipment until the next morning, when the rental location opened. Your after hours return process is not user friendly and your customer service department is horrible!!RON W.

The original location did not have our truck when we showed up. Not the fault of the location, but booking online and not having a truck when you get there is too much. We were sent to this location, but traffic had changed our invoice and a few other things. I had movers lined up to load the truck at 9:30. Did not receive a call before hand. It was all a huge mess. It really upset me that my pickup location was changed when I checked in. This really screwed up my day with the logistical problems it created. I had a confirmed reservation at a location close to where I needed to be. Instead I had to drive 20-30 minutes out of my way to go to Castle Rock.Tom B.

Showed up to get the truck at 8am. The woman told me they moved my reservation to another location. Nobody notified me about the change. Went to the other location and they didn't open until 10am. Called woman back and she said, I have one for you. Had to drive back to other location to get the truck. Total nightmare, as 6 people were waiting for the truck. Terrible experience.ANTHONY A.

The tire pressure on the trailer tires was below recommended inflation levels and were different between the tires. I'd suggest that they be checked and topped off between rentals.Jeffrey M.
The attendant noted in her comments that the fuel return level was above the required amount (1/4 tank) but make a mistake when indicating on the chart to show 1/8 tank. This resulted in a $30 fueling fee + $36 fuel charge. I returned to the location a few minutes later to report the mistake and she contacted U-Haul 'traffic' to have the matter reversed. She then indicated that U-Haul would take care of this soon. She also admitted that they had not added any fuel to the truck before renting to the next customer (same mileage out as my contract milage in). I returned to this business a week later to see why the matter had not been resolved and the charge reversed. I believe this is a scam perpetrated by both U-Haul and this franchise on unsuspecting customers. I have since disputed the additional charge on my credit card.ROBERT H.

The woman at the main desk was very nice and patient. I was waiting in line behind another customer, and she offered to take the truck key I was returning to try to help me get moving. When I said I'd prefer to wait and discuss some items, she was very polite and didn't insist. I'm glad she was patient as we went over the truck I was returning, because there were several issues with my contract from the original pickup location, and she went through everything with me, including damage that was not notated, and incorrectly documented mileage. I highly recommend this location.Sarah S.

I was told to close my contract online if I dropped the trailer off after hours. I spent a long time searching for such a function on the website and could not find it. At least I wasn't charged the $20 fee for failing to close the contract. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.Chris V.
