It would be helpful if the if the fact that you have to take pictures through the app not before. I tried to take pictures prior to starting the return process but had to retake them while using the app. Let the customer know that up front.Mark H.

Avoid this location!!!!!! Close your contract with this location immediately!!!! Unable to return equipment due to the location closing more than two hours early than the posted time. I even contacted them to verify that they would be available for drop off. Upon arrival another customer was trying to pick up a rental,he had just spoken with them and they said they would have his rental ready... really???. Two strikes against this location in less than an hour. Not providing a good image for your company.chad M.

Employee wasn't wearing a mask at all. Stayed on her phone during most of the rental. Only offered insurance and didn't even mention roadside assistance that I clearly would have taken if offered. The lady at the counter was just not friendly and condescending. I walked in and told her that I was here to pick up the trailer. She said "so" and gave me a shoulder shrug. They never came out and looked at the rental just told me to drop it and they would check it in later. After 15 minutes trying to return it myself using the phone I went back in to ask about it and the lady said " I told you I would return it in a little bit". Had to call owner to get the key. Location was closed and no one was there to give us key. They had to tell me how to get in and get the key myself. THEN I was charged a "cleaning fee" of $25 when I dropped it off via the ap. We moved a couch with it and it was not clean when we picked it up. Will not use this location again. What should have been a $50 charge was $107 by the tine it was over.Larissa P.

Well I have used haul in the past and it's been a very good experience, this is the first one that I ever used that don't hook the equipment up you and make sure everything is good before you leave, that's what I'm use too, I was caught off guard when that didn't happened, maybe that's how this one do business,but I only went to them because I didnt feel like driving all the way to Decatur and this was close and convenient for me for what I had to do,now that I know that's how they operate I guess it's ok,maybe they should put up signs saying that you have to hook up what you rent and lower the price.Delshon B.

NO ONE WAS THERE WHEN I GOT THERE AND AFTER WAITING FOR ALMOST 30 MINUTES I CALLED UHAUL AND THEY FINALLY GOT SOMEONE THERE. I WAITED 45 MIN IN THE HEAT. WHEN THE PERSON GOT THERE THEY WERE EXTREMELY RUDE. AFTER FINISHED ASKED ME IF ANYTHING ELSE AND I SAID MAYBE AN APOLOGY FOR MAKING ME WAIT SO LONG. SHE GOT REALLY MAD AND SAID IF I HAD GIVEN HER TIME SHE WAS GOING TO APOLOGIZE. THIS WAS AFTER BEING THERE FOR 20 MINUTES AND NOT SAYING ANYTHING EXCEPT ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT RETURN AND SUCH.JEFF R.

Heather literally rolled her eyes at me when I told her I wanted a receipt that the trailer had been returned. They had a pit bull in the office that jumped on me almost knocked me over. Coming back from Panama City Beach I was sunburned and the dog left a scratch down my chest. I would never recommend this place for uhaul or storage. Disrespectful and rude!susan W.

The place looks like a hangout for kids. Trash everywhere. The "toy boy" boyfriend in the corner doesn't help with anything. I had to go outside and connect the trailer by myself. Absolutely no assistance from the "staff" - if that's what they were supposed to be. Avoid this location like it has the plague.Lester H.

No one ever showed up to rent us the truck. We were on a time schedule and we waited there for over a hour when finally the area manager showed up and rented us the truck after getting a ignition key made. While we were waiting several people showed up to do business there and told us that its common for them to not to show up at all. This is NOT acceptable in any situation and UHAUL should not allow dealers to act like this.Alan B.

This location is extremely hard to get in touch with. We called and went by several times before renting, and we also returned our truck a day early on July 4, tried to call to let them know in order to receive a refund for the day, but we could not get in touch with them. We would not recommend this Hartselle location to our worst enemy. I do not know how they even stay in business as hard as they are to get in touch with.Kevin C.

Answer your phone. Return your voicemails you receive. Be at the business at 9am when your customers are arriving. Don't charge your good customers for your miscommunications and mistakes. Dump the self check in and check out and get back to personal service. Everyone needs to be on the same page at all your locations. Internally investigate that your transactions are being handled in a uniform method. Resolve each issue with disgruntled customers on a one on one basis. You will lose market share if you ignore who keeps you in business.Jerry W.
