I reserved the truck at a location close to my home but it was changed through an email at the last minute to a shady neighborhood convenient store. They didn't have a working truck available so I insisted they call customer service to find me another truck. After waiting on hold for a representative for almost 30 minutes they finally found another truck at another location. This location was closed so I had to go through the contactless process which took forever. My reservation time was 11am but I didn't get a truck until after 2pm. On top of that, I was over charged. It was a nightmare! I definitely WOULD NOT recommend U-haul to anyone!Jessica E.

Gas and milage reading was not accurate. I told the employee and was assured he would make adjustments. He didn't and I got charged for it. Did not get any paperwork or was not advised to do a pickup report online. I guess this is something new , I never heard of it until after this rental. The problem was that i was reading about all these different charges I could get like if the truck wasn't cleaned I'd get a fee added on but when I got the truck it wasn't clean. I had to clean ut before I could put my stuff in itSARAH A.
Make sure equipment has been maintained and up to code. This vehicle was not safe had no ac. Didn't receive help from the provider who rented us the vehicle. Will not use this service again. I would like compensation for my troubles with this vehicke.Belinda L.
Have a truck ready for me and not send me to another location very far away. Have people i can talk to present, not a website that doesnt work to register and get keys (the customer service person i talked to on the phone was very helpful). Dont charge me full price for a truck bigger than i wanted and for mileage when i elected to pay $30 for unlimited mileageEvan Z.

The location was closed and an area manager helped me get a trailer. Since it was not open, I could not get any of the supplies, like moving blankets. He could not remove and left it to me calling customer service to get a refund for the blankets. I opened a ticket and have heard nothing.David H.

Was charged a cleaning fee of 15.00 because the blankets were not folded. Nowhere in the contract does it state the blankets needed to be folded. There rep is a liar and rude. Every review about this uhaul location talkes about how they lie and steal money from customers. Uhaul should be embarrassed to be associated with this location.James S.
The place was closed even though it was suppose to be open. I asked for in person check in but had to do the mobile check in. When I dropped the uhaul off the location wasn't working to finish the mobile drop off even though my maps had been working on my phone.Brittany J.
First I could not take pictures in the U-Haul app with my Android 10 Motorola One 5G Ace smart phone. I made sure all permissions were granted. Luckily I was able to use my sons i-phone to navigate the app. I went inside to get the key and had to wait 10 minutes for the guy to finish what he was doing before he would give me the key. I arrived at Affordable Muffler at 11:53am and was not able to drive off with the truck until 12:34pm so I lost a half hour of truck rental time dealing with your U-Haul app and waiting for the key. The inside of the truck was disgusting. It was very dirty and sticky all around the cup holders. The truck drove ok but it might be time for a front end alignment as the steering was a little wobbly navigating narrow roads. Also when I was checking out the U-Haul app never told me what to do with the key. The shop was closed but I did eventually find the drop box for the key. You might want to replace the drop box because it was badly damaged and looked as though someone had tried to bust in.Kevin S.

I did the entire reservation online and my wife went to pay for it only and she didn't know that he had removed the insurance and changed the drop off place and time. Had to call the main U-Haul number and the girl change the drop off location but didn't change the time so I get a call half way thru my move from someone with U-Haul wanting the truck back and being rude to my wifeStephen A.

My reservation was confirmed one week prior to my move date for a truck that was 17 ft from a centralized location 1 mile from my current house and less than 10 from new house. I ended up with the wrong size truck 10 miles west of my old house and 15+ miles from new house. Also, Affordable Muffler only had one employee who was there in the morning but was not there when I dropped my Uhaul off at 12 noon. Terrible experience.Christopher S.

Location and equipment were fine. Nobody answers the phone. So hope you never have questions or want too speak to someone. We returned the truck after hours. The online check out took forever. It would be nice if you listed what pictures were needed before getting started. As everytime a new photo was needed, I had to start all over.Chrystal S.

It took over an hour and 4 different people to get my truck from the uhaul website. I suppose to pick it up at noon on Saturday and by the time I finally got it was a little after 1pm. They can do better with the website..but everyone I talked to was very nice and polite..brenda R.

Was suppose to go to location and just pickup the unit. Got there they didn't have the truck assigned. Told the guy we were there and he left us waiting 20 minutes before he came and talked to us. Took him another 20 minutes to get the truck brought in assigned to me. Took well over 45 minutes to pickup the truck. Didn't have the dolly I requested. Expected better service.Stephen J.
