stop making people drive 45 minutes to one hour to drop off a truck when their is a u haul location 6 miles from where i live . I don't work for u haul and I would never want to .I was told someone would call me back several times and never did . Great service !STEVE L.

Location closed. Trailer frozen to ground. No pads or packing supplies available. No one to help break trailer free from ground and load up. No PAPERWORK FOR THE TRIP. nO 800 # IN CASE OF EMERGENCY. No Jack so trailer was married to truck for two days . Did contract over phone.Jay F.
We had to listen to his complaints about the UHaul company. And it took him over a week to check our rental in so I had to endure several phone calls from UHaul looking for your trailermarcy R.
There was a problem with the reservation because UHaul maintenance had changed the truck without updating the computer system, and the manager had to redo everything. There was a wait of some 40 minutes to be able to leave with the truck because of this. Not the location's fault, would be great if maintenance personnel would take more time to update info.BRUCE C.

I returned the 5 x 8 trailer by noon on Monday. The guy did not sign off on my receipt when he made a copy of it for his records. I told him about the lights and he verified they were faulty. On Tuesday I receive a text message (not email, nor telephone call) and says I am overdue with the trailer and to call this #. I did for hours off and on with no one answering. Wednesday I get another text message saying the same thing. I call the # and the guy says "Just don't worry about it, ignore the texts, you won't be charged". Quite frankly I have used u haul at least 1 dozen times in the last 2 years in local ft laud and Stuart and never had an issue. This issue and especially the lack of Customer Service may alter my future descissions....Not happy.concetta D.
I dropped the van off with exactly the amount of gas that was highlighted on our contract. U-Haul rep that went to my drop off site stated it wasnt enough. It took me 1/2 hour of drive time and another 1/2 hour to pick up the truck and put more gas in. I added gas to the truck while it was off but the key was in the "on" position. I stopped at 1/4 tank but it took more gas than I expected. When I started the truck, the gauge went to 1/2 tank! U-Haul did re-imburse me for this amount and did re-imburse me $10 for my personal gas spent to drive back and do this - BUT, I never needed to do this - the tank was where it should have been. I got this corrected because I brought my original contract back in and gave it to the drop off place and they saw it had been correct all along. My suggestion is to take what the drop off owner states is true. Paul at Affordable storage saw my contract and saw the gauge was correct but he didnt have any clout in correcting things. I had to waste my time doing this and then spend time communicating with people from U-Haul getting this fixed. Ultimately it was Paul who coordinated things with the district manager and got my credits but it was after my time and money loss and my frustration.LYNN M.

No one even offered to assist us in un hooking the trailer. No one even checked to see if we returned the blankets. The agent just said you're ok thanks and did not even give me any documentation saying I had returned the traier until I went back inside and requested some sort of signed proof. At that time he said his computor was down and so he just signed my original ticket and told me all was ok. I called the 800 # and expressed my concern to the agent at the help desk later that afternoon. You might want to keep an eye on that agency as it sure didnt feel rigt to any of us at the time.STEVE R.

Truck had been used by a smoker and reaked of cigarette smoke. Thankfully, the owner of the location (Paul Wells) was very courteous and considerate and deoderized the truck as best he could. He was actually very professsional and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this location.Daniel C.
