Give the option to run cards as debit. Check your vehicles before you push them out, vehicle had a large hole in the tire after pickup, had no time to fill out pre-inspection. Noticed some unusual sound but assumed it was just an older truck.
WILLIAM SThe trailer was ready they were quick to accept my reservation paperwork and process the order. In probably less that ten minutes we were out the door. Took a few minutes to hook up the trailer and check the lights, all was good. Looked like new tires on the trailer and it rolled well and tracked beautifully. We had about an hour of driving in downtown Charlotte and then 160 miles to the coast. Excellent equipment.
COLIN WVery easy experience start to finish
Elizabeth SWe had a 7:30 am self pick up scheduled. Lots of trucks available but our assigned truck was inside a padlocked fence. Called UHaul for help and they were great but owner was not concerned. I had hit “found truck” on the app before I realized it was locked in and could not go back and correct so called customer service who said the owner was on his way. When he finally arrived he said nothing, no apologies to the three customers waiting. Finally settled himself in the office and addressed our issue. It was my fault for hitting the found response but he took no responsibility for us being assigned captive truck. Said he assumed I had been given another one since it was showing as dispatched, despite the wake up call from HQ. Had to wait for him to unlock fence, manuever a few vehicles and finally free the truck. We had a five hour drive after packing up the truck so the hour in the parking lot was precious time lost.
Anne MI returned my truck on Saturday, August 3rd, which was early per my contract. On Aug 5th I received a new receipt saying I turned the truck in on Aug 5th, a day late, and with new charges. I will be refuting those charges. Someone dropped the ball at this location.

Lori SLocation a little tough to find and access from South Boulevard. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Michael TThe person running this location could only speak through an interpreter app on his phone. He also checked the vehicle in and tried to overcharge me by 2500 miles on the trip. I am sure it was no accident. They claimed the odometer reading was 2500 miles higher than it actually read. Good tip— take a picture of the dash before exiting the truck. It’s the only proof you have of the tank’s fill and mileage.
Paul GGlad you asked! Aside from the fact that this was NOT the location I requested, (there are 4 other locations closer and more convenient to me but Uhaul wouldn't work to assist on this), the entire reservation experience was less than stellar. I made the reservation over a week in advance but still had to drive far out of my way for the truck. (I drove past the closer location to me and the lot was FULL of trucks yet I was told I couldn't have one of them!) Plus, the agent who checked me out never offered for me to decline the insurance coverage but instead just charged me the $30 fee. I didn't get a paper receipt offered to me so I never saw the charge until I was at my computer. I didn't want or need that coverage. From all sides of my experience with U-haul, nobody is very interested in offering good customer service. Seems everyone is doing just enough to get by. Next time, I'm using Penske!
kimberly mDropped off at 3:30pm (6 hours later) I was never given a receipt. He told me it was coming in the next few minutes but never came. Two calls made to your 800 number yesterday to inquire. Finally got the receipt on 7/9 stating it was returned at 5:19pm that day. I dropped it off 26 hours earlier than that.
